Do It Wright Window Treatment & Install
I hired Adam Wright with Do It Wright Window Treatments to complete several projects on my house before I moved in. Everything started off on a great foot, but as time went on, the cracks in his company began to show through. To spare you all the details here are just a few examples. Adam subcontracts many of his projects to guys off the street. Unbeknownst to you, you will have every Joe Blow working in your house. These men are not licensed professionals, just some guys looking to make a quick buck. One of those men even destroyed my kitchen when he tried to remove the wallpaper--dry! (See pictures) Now if it is something that he is doing himself, Adam does a great job on it but don't expect him NOT to use others while he is off somewhere doing another person's house/project. In the beginning, I foolishly gave Adam my credit card to a home improvement store to buy the products he needed to complete these jobs. We made an agreement that he would give me all receipts so I would know what was being purchased. Not only did he NOT give me any receipts, but he charged TOOLS on my account, including a $200 saw table!! Surely as a contractor he would/should have his own tools. I entered my home one day while he wasn't there to discover shampoo in my bathroom that didn't belong to me. When I asked him about it, he admitted to grooming himself in my bathroom!! Stating, "I know it wasn't professional but I am here all day so I figured I'd get it done." Unbelievable! Finally, he stole all of my tools when he was "finished." I'm pretty handy so I have my own tools, painting supplies, etc. EVERYTHING disappeared when he did. In addition, he left my house a complete mess. My backyard was littered with fast food cups and wrappers, old paintbrushes, old pieces of wood, and empty water jugs that I had to clean up. I have left him countless messages trying to get my tools/money back to no avail. He's a smooth talking con artist who can't stay focused. He takes on more jobs than he could do at once, so your house or project will fall by the wayside once he gets bored with it. Trust!! Decent prices but it is not worth it in the end. Go with a REAL professional.

    GLAUSIER PAINTING
The crew was quick and efficient. They didn't take breaks, except for lunch and they cleaned up their equipment and my yard each day. They repaired a couple of pieces of wood that were rotting and broken, and made sure we knew what they did. The color I chose for the exterior siding didn't match my previous color, and Mark got other samples until we got it right. He was so patient and explained everything they were going to do. He would ask me to look at things periodically to make sure it looked the way we wanted it to. We have had so many compliments from the neighbors, and many have asked for the name of the company because they want them to do some painting for them. We loved it so much that we are going to pay them to paint the interior for us instead of doing it ourselves.

It took several weeks from the initial bid (November 11, 2014) until start date (January 12, 2015).  This worked out well, though, since it was over the holiday season anyway.  We are very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and skill with which all the work described above was performed.  We will definitely count on Repairs Unlimited for our future home repair needs.  Great experience!

Outstanding. The owner personally came to my home and prepared the estimate. Very informal. As the buyer, ask lots of questions. We discussed alternatives in the event the floors under the carpet were not in a condition suitable for restoration. He provided cost estimates for both options.
The team that worked on my home was never more than 3, normally a 2 man team. They were very punctual, respectful and considerate of my privacy since I lived in the home while the work was done.
Shortly after the start, when removal of the carpet exposed prior work that damaged the original floors, it became necessary to decide to install new flooring instead of restore the old. The owner walked through and provided the new estimate. Within one day we were able to decide and continue the work, which included replacing the sub-floor in one room.
I was impressed with the attention to detail of the work team. They put in extra effort to match the original floor finish, molding, paint color, cabinet stain color. I was very pleased with the outcome and felt comfortable with the team working in my home while at work or at home.
I do plan to use them again for multiple improvements.

    Cliff Tolbert Painting
Cliff and his crew did a great job. They were more than willing to work with me on times that I was available to be in the home, and even worked weekends to complete the job. Highly Recommend!

    GLAUSIER PAINTING
I was extremely pleased with their work. The team was punctual, unfailingly courteous, and completely professional. I was particularly pleased with the work on the bathroom cabinets because they were initially in very poor condition. Mark had also advised on a color for the foyer, which I found contrasts extremely well with the color of the hallway. I will definitely be using Glausier Painting again!

He was incredibly professional and very, very easy to work with. He was meticulous and fabulous. He worked hard. His crew was polite, conscientious and fabulous. It was a great experience from beginning to end. The cleanup was fabulous. I am waiting to have enough money to hire him again.

Robert Medley (owner) and James did an awesome job! I can't truly articulate just how pleased I was with their performance. My 2800-square foot home is filled with intricately designed wide crown moulding, fluted (structural) columns and door casements as well as high baseboards with 1/4 round that really needed attention to detail since I was using high gloss paint which, by its very nature, would show every little imperfection. Although the existing paint job was still aesthetically pleasing, primarily because I used a neutral color palette to begin with, the previous professional contractor who I hired years ago to do job had left a lot of debris (think sanding residue and unfilled dings) underneath the paint that you could feel whenever you cleaned. I admit it's not probably something that would bother most people but it irked the and quot;you know whatand quot; out of me since I know a good paint job when I see one and this simply wasn't up to my standards. (Unfortunately at that time I was up against a firm closing date for my contractor-to-conventional mortgage shift and the final inspection was due therefore I put up with it rather than delay and watch interest rates go up.) So when I finally decided to take the plunge again and repaint this year, I had four hard and fast rules which anyone submitting a proposal would have to factor in and guarantee my satisfaction with their work: (1.) fill, sand, caulk and apply a 2-coat paint process until there was smooth, mirror-like finish on all my trim, doors and columns and straight cut-in lines on my walls with no flashing or bleed through of the old paint, (2) use the best of Sherwin Williams' or Porter Paint brand products, (3.) perform the job with only two painters in my home, one of which had to be the owner...no unsupervised subs...and finally (4.) leave my light colored hard wood floors or white carpet as pristine as when you arrived. I interviewed and received bids from three contractors before I hired Robert and I'm so glad I chose his team. Each morning, over the course of 7 workdays, they arrived promptly at 8 a.m. and departed at 4 p.m., taking only a half-hour lunch break in between. Both were meticulous, neatly cleaning up and vacuumed their work areas daily so I didn't have to, put up with my nit-noid inspection of every aspect from prep to completion and taught me not only great trade techniques but the difference between someone simply calling themselves a painter and a fabulously professional one. An added bonus was they installed my new Schlage door handle and dead bolt, just as a courtesy and at no charge, since I'd recently stained my mahogany front door and applied several coats of marine spar high gloss urethane to it.
If you're looking for the and quot; WOWand quot; factor as opposed to the and quot;Aww crap what was I thinking?and quot; moment when you stand back and look at your home after someone paints it, I'd say hire Repairs Unlimited to make your house look and and quot;feeland quot; like a showroom. These guys know prep work is 75% of the effort which ultimately translates into a great finish on any surface. But please, do me a huge favor and call them after I'm done using their services so I don't have to stand in line behind you!
I'll continue to update my review of their work as we move through the remaining two phases scheduled for January 2013.

Mark and Dennis arrived exactly when he said they would. Pleasant, courteous and helpful with ideas. A true "non-event". He came, oompletd the job perfectly for the amount agreed upon, and cleaned up any mess. No problems with amazing results.
