AIndoor Experts Heating & Air ConditioningI just wanted to say how pleased I am with the service from Indoor Experts. I have had a few problems with some other HVAC companies in the past, so it was more refreshing to find a company that is honest, on-time, and professional. I would highly recommend them!- Tracey K.

ADougherty Heating & CoolingThe part needed had to be ordered. So we were without AC for four days. DH&C offered to lend us a couple of portable ACs in the meantime. As soon as the part came in, their tech was here that day to install it. Great service as always!- William T.
-
ASears Home ServicesThe work met my expectations. I recommend them because of that. I gave them an A overall because of the way they explained what they did after they did what they had to do.- King C.

AAlbany Air Conditioning & Heating Company IncOur air went out on a Friday afternoon the day after Christmas. This is not the warmest time of year for us, but as we live in southwest Georgia, it was still uncomfortable. The unit had been serviced by Albany Air the week before, and the technician found nothing wrong with our unit. My husband called the company and got the technician that was on call for the weekend. He explained our problem to the technician, but the unit had started to work again. The technician said if we had any more problems to call him back and he would come right out. The next day the unit went out again. My husband called the technician back and he came out to inspect the unit. He found that the motor bearings were bad, and the bearings were in a sealed casing. This ment that the motor needed to be replaced. When we received the bill, we found that the company charged us $264.00 for the motor, did not charge for two smaller parts they had also replaced, and did not charge us a service or labor fee, even though it was a holiday weekend when we made the call. They also credited us $70.00 from our previous regular service that we had the week before our call. I honestly think this was the best service that I have ever received from a service company of any kind. We will difinately continue to use Albany Air for all of the future services on our unit, and would recommend them to anyone.- Brenda P.

ADougherty Heating & CoolingMy AC stopped working on Sunday afternoon and after spending a miserable day in a steaming house searching the internet for troubleshooting tactics I thought I found the problem - the start capacitor had to be bad. So, I woke up first thing Monday morning - after baking in an oven all night - and went out on my journey to find a start capacitor. I went to the first HVAC store and they didn't have the exact part I needed and I was weary about purchasing the recommended replacement due to the size of the part being too large. While there, there was a gentleman with Dougherty Heating and Cooling taking care of his business with the vendor and I didn't really pay much attention too. So, I leave the first place and go to another four stores - only to be informed they don't carry it, but go see "so-and-so" they should have it - WRONG! So, as I drove up to the last store and got out of the vehicle, there was a guy sitting in a Dougherty Heating and Cooling pickup that greeted me with "you haven't found that part you're looking for yet?". I walked over to the guy and it was the person I saw sitting at the counter at the first store I visited - he remembered me and what I was looking to purchase. We began talking and I was explaining to him what my AC unit was doing and he said that he didn't think it was the start capacitor. I asked him what they charged for a service call and he told me while pulling out a card and giving me instructions to call his dispatcher and have her send someone out to my house to fix the problem - and when I talked to her to tell her have the service tech call him so he can explain my issue. I finally admitted defeat and recognized that my journey to fix my own AC had come to an end, so I called the dispatcher. Within a couple of hours a service tech with Dougherty Heating and Cooling arrived at my house, I explained my problem and he immediately began working to resolve it. In a matter of 15 minutes he diagnosed my problem, replaced the failed RUN CAPACITOR (not the start capacitor that I was so convinced was the problem), and had my unit working - cooling my house. I gladly paid him the $133 for the service call and part and within an hour my wife and kids were finally beginning to cool off. By the way, my kids were complaining how cold it was that night. I know there are a dozen or more heating and cooling companies in the Albany area that do a great job and have phenomenal reputations, but should I ever need this service again - or if my friends or family needs this service - I will use and recommend Dougherty Heating and Cooling. Great job!- Bradley W.

AAll Seasons Htg & AcAll Seasons performed a complete changeout of my HVAC system. This was accomplished in 5 hours. Four technicians arrived the day of the installation, and worked together like a well oiled machine. The system has worked flawlessly, and has more than exceeded my expectations in performance. I requested estimates from nearly every Heating and cooling company in this area, and All Seasons came in with a price for an energy efficient unit that beat everyone else's. I highly recommend this company.- Don H.

AAwesome, stress free experience. Royce and his partner Jake (?) were outstanding. When our truck load was 160 lbs over the truck's weight limit of 8,500 lbs, they removed their spare tools and equipment and drove the 890 miles with no more than 1/2 their fuel load to stay underweight. Nothing damaged and they were so helpful in getting all our furniture and boxes into the right places. Protected walls and floors and disassembled and reassembled beds and tables without issues. Outstanding and would hire them again. Thank you!

AI've never had my ducts cleaned so wasn't sure what to expect. Seemed like a fairly straightforward cleaning. Technician made some decent recommendations and pointed out a few issues with the system. He pulled a bunch of lint out of our dryer vent so I'm looking forward to a more efficient dryer as well. Would recommend to others.

AMatthew was originally hired to assist my nephew in preperation for the Parochial High School Admissions exam. Building a relationship with Matthew was the best thing for my nephew. Matthew was very safe going into this situation creating a trusting a environment. Not knowing what he was walking into, Matthew quickly learned that my nephew’s academic inabilities were far more important than preparing for an high school entrance exam. Immediately Matthew begin working on creating a plan of action. He is very patient, yet intentional about holding my nephew accountable. Moreover, he follows up and send reminders for my nephew (I.e. don’t forget to bring your book home from school, remember to work on your math). Although we have a long way to go, it’s safe to say that we are seeing some progress. Thanks Matthew.

FThis is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts.

DI hired Adam Wright with Do It Wright Window Treatments to complete several projects on my house before I moved in. Everything started off on a great foot, but as time went on, the cracks in his company began to show through. To spare you all the details here are just a few examples. Adam subcontracts many of his projects to guys off the street. Unbeknownst to you, you will have every Joe Blow working in your house. These men are not licensed professionals, just some guys looking to make a quick buck. One of those men even destroyed my kitchen when he tried to remove the wallpaper--dry! (See pictures) Now if it is something that he is doing himself, Adam does a great job on it but don't expect him NOT to use others while he is off somewhere doing another person's house/project. In the beginning, I foolishly gave Adam my credit card to a home improvement store to buy the products he needed to complete these jobs. We made an agreement that he would give me all receipts so I would know what was being purchased. Not only did he NOT give me any receipts, but he charged TOOLS on my account, including a $200 saw table!! Surely as a contractor he would/should have his own tools. I entered my home one day while he wasn't there to discover shampoo in my bathroom that didn't belong to me. When I asked him about it, he admitted to grooming himself in my bathroom!! Stating, "I know it wasn't professional but I am here all day so I figured I'd get it done." Unbelievable! Finally, he stole all of my tools when he was "finished." I'm pretty handy so I have my own tools, painting supplies, etc. EVERYTHING disappeared when he did. In addition, he left my house a complete mess. My backyard was littered with fast food cups and wrappers, old paintbrushes, old pieces of wood, and empty water jugs that I had to clean up. I have left him countless messages trying to get my tools/money back to no avail. He's a smooth talking con artist who can't stay focused. He takes on more jobs than he could do at once, so your house or project will fall by the wayside once he gets bored with it. Trust!! Decent prices but it is not worth it in the end. Go with a REAL professional.
