    I interviewed 4 vendors, 3 of which are often heard on Atlanta media, along with Precision, who was recommended by my homeowner���s site. I chose Precision based on price and the thorough and honest assessment performed by Gary. No sales pitch for leases, financing, or other things I had no interest in, just an honest review of my current system along with a detailed inspection and bid. Bravo Gary! For the install, Ray and Joe showed up as scheduled, they reviewed all of the work that would be completed, they performed an absolute professional installation, and they left my basement area cleaner than I left it for them. These two gents really worked hard the entire day and could not have been more professional and courteous. Bravo Ray and Joe! I waited a couple weeks to write this review, just to evaluate how things were going, but to date no complaints at all. My window unit that once serviced my basement is now long gone, the new HVAC unit is performing extremely well, and quite frankly, the install looks great! I also forgot what hot water was really like, after struggling with a very old water heater. Bravo Precision! One of the things I found interesting about Precision���s bid, beyond the fact that it was considerably less than all others, was that their quote included new supply and exhaust plenums. To me, this was huge for the others wanted extra to replace what I felt were old, moldy, and genuinely ���yucky��� plenums. Again, bravo Precision for doing it right! For all those evaluating contractors to replace your HVAC and/or Water Heater, my advice is this. If the contractor even mentions a lease, avoid them. If they mention financing when you clearly state you don���t want financing, avoid them. If you have to walk them through what needs to be done and remind them about things they should know, avoid them. Precision does none of these things, rather, they simply ���listen��� to their valued customers, provide a complete and honest assessment, and perform a superb installation. So simple it���s scary. In conclusion, if you are considering a new HVAC unit or Water Heater, please give Precision a call and take a moment to meet with them. You won���t be disappointed.

    Great at first, then progressively worse until I had to fire them. Multiple times after they serviced the central A/C units for several years, one would not blow cold. One time, they told me that someone stole all the refrigerant and charged about $800 (after negotiating) to replace it. e live in an upper middle class neighborhood. It never happened to me before or since and no neighbors every heard of such a thing after I spoke with them. Funny thing that the so-called thief only "stole" refrigerant from one of the two units sitting side by side. I installed locks on the filler connections. The next year, the same unit was empty again. This time it was a loose hex nut holding the low pressure pipe to the indoor evaporator unit. Another $500 after negotiation (showing that I could buy an entire tank of the same refrigerant for $25, delivered, on Amazon with no license required to pump it in. Of course, I was willing to pay for their time and effort, but that was a ridiculous price, considering it was their fault. I made sure that the pressure would hold this time by pumping nitrogen in at 300 PSI and leaving it for three days. This time, after getting ripped off again, I fired them. Hard lessons letting them take me to the cleaners multiple times, but at least I am free of them now.

    William spent 30 mins over the phone to talk with me about my problem with my zone system. He recommended to change the thermostat based on the information I gave him. He told me how to connect the wires for a new thermostat. He checked in with me the next day to see how it went. You just don't set this type of exceptional customer service often, especially with an HVAC company. I would give him 10 stars if it was an option. I highly recommend this company!

    I'm fairly new to Ga and as a result I'm not familiar with the reputation and workmanship of the various companies. My experience with Cool Air Mechanical was very positive. Elio, Jean P. and Demarcus did an excellent job installing 2 new systems. They respected my home by protecting my floors and cleaning up before leaving. Elio gave me a mini lesson on the functionality of the system to ensure I get the most out of it. Great job! It was appreciated.

    I have been a customer of Casteel for about eight years when I bought a dual fuel system from them. All of the staff have been very well qualified and have been friendly and courteous. They have been easy to have in my home and have been able to answer all of my questions and explain any considerations in repairs, including accurate estimates of the costs. I recently had a blower motor replaced and the technician explained what the problem was and analyzed what happened that may have led to the problem. I have a top of the line system so it's not surprising that parts and supplies are expensive. I can't compare their costs to others since I haven't compared estimates with anyone else, especially when it's a muggy 90 degrees and the A/C is out. I have stayed on their concierge program as best I could, but they have lost track of me a few times and I have had to schedule with them a month or two late. I've learned to put the scheduling on my calendar. Following the repair, I had a maintenance visit that was scheduled a month before. Jason who was here with Lance were both great technicians. My system is running great now but time will tell. This should be relatively trouble free since it's not an old unit.

    Our central air conditioning unit stopped working on a weekday afternoon and the indoor temperature quickly rose to 85 degrees. I called Ragsdale's emergency service after hours. A real person took my information and a service tech called me back within 20 minutes to say that he would be at my house that night. He showed up on time and was courteous and very professional. My unit is 18 years old and had not been cleaned in several years. The tech replaced the capacitor and fan motor, added coolant, cleaned the coils, checked pressure and performed several tests. Repair and clean up took about 90 minutes. He explained to me what he was doing on each step, told me the available repair options and their costs, and gave me pointers on how to spot a faulty unit. Our A/C now blows out colder air than prior to repair. I was very happy with the service and would definitely hire them again.

    Ricardo showed up on time and quickly got to work. He found a couple of small issues with our downstairs unit. He explained those well and provided me with solutions. We agreed to do two of the three recommended items. It was about to storm and I was concerned about him being outside, but he got right on completing the repair and finished before the rains came down. Great job!
