    EverDry Waterproofing
So glad I chose Everdry Waterproofing! The EZ Breathe they installed has already made a huge impact on our daughters breathing now that the mold is getting removed from the air. I just want to thank Everdry for doing a spectacular job and making our home SAFE again!

Bryan arrived on time for both the estimate and and the actual removal. The removal was done quickly and all mess cleaned up. Bryan also pointed out a potential issue with my current air filter where my HVAC provider had installed the incorrect size. Very pleased with the job done and with Bryan, would definitely hire again.

    Merritt Environmental
If you are ever in the position to do house renovations, whether from an insurance claim, or you just want to remodel, we cannot stress enough the importance of hiring qualified general contractors who hold the proper licenses and insurance. In February 2018, we had a bathroom leak in our home and we hired someone that claimed he could do fix the issue and remodel our home. We hired James Merritt of Merritt Environmental. From the beginning, the work was sub-standard and much of the project had to be re-done numerous times. The focal point of the construction is a large walk-in tiled shower that currently leaks into the downstairs living room. Therefore, the shower must be torn out completely and re-built. It was reported to us by one of Merritts sub-contractors, that a flood test on the shower was never performed. Also, there is no P-trap in the shower drain allowing sewer gases into the shower enclosure. This is only one of MANY stories from our remodel experience with Merritt Environmental. We have numerous pictures to prove all the defects as well as written documentation. Our attorney has tried to contact James with a letter, called him, however, James Merritt has not responded.

It took two trips to get the replacement pump properly installed and they charged me over $700. A sump pump costs around $100 retail. The reason given for the charge was "difficult conditions." Ok, so I paid it. (Then I hired a crew to clean up the "difficult conditions." I have also paid for a new graded driveway and new, large gutters across the carport to reduce the water incursions.) The pump and drain lines haven't worked properly since the beginning. The pump is not handling the water for several reasons. 1) They left the electric cord to the pump draped where the float arm could get tangled and hung up - meaning the pump stopped working. A professional installation would have tacked the cord up out of the way. I paid someone else to do that. 2) The drain line was not properly installed on the first trip; they had to come back out and put in a different type of line. They did NOT put in a check valve, so water gets pumped up to a certain height and drains back down again. 3) The pump is down in a 5 gal bucket. I don't know if it was in a bucket before or if One Call did it this way. Regardless, the float arm is hanging up on the side of the bucket so that it can't move freely, and this affects the operation of the pump. OTHER PROBLEMS: 1) I have called numerous times in the past few months and only twice have I been able to get through to a person. Messages have gone unanswered. The receptionist blamed phone problems over the past couple of weeks. Well, it's been longer than that. 2) I finally reached a live person on 6/25, and made an appointment for someone to come out at 8:00am on 6/26. The tech was a no-show. Repeated messages have gone unanswered. I called their emergency number, explained that I couldn't get through on the phone plus the nature of my problem. I am still waiting to hear back. Calling their main number goes directly to voice mail. I realize that this is an old house, and that the previous pump may not have been properly installed. HOWEVER, when I hire a professional, I expect them to inform me of existing obstacles and propose solutions - not just patch over what was there, especially when charging this much money! Consequences: There is moisture dripping off the ceiling and MILDEW everywhere! This was not the case when the company purchased the house six months ago. My tenants are threatening to move. I am going to have to hire a haz-mat team to remediate the mold, and I STILL don't have a working sump pump. I guarantee the mold remediation company I hire will NOT be One Call Home Preservation.

Ethical Aspects LLC Mold Removal Services
It solved the problem. I just let him take care of it and he told me it's done and I accept his word. He did a treatment of the crawlspace and I never go down to see or anything so I only take his word. The only way to judge is if  that mold comes back or not.

I have no reference for mold removal pricing. He is good. He say he'll be there, he was there.

The guys were extremely professional and explained what needed to be done. They answered all my questions and assisted me with the insurance company, which was a big relief because we had never filed a claim before. They were very thorough and cleaned up when they were finished. I would definitely hire them again and strongly recommend them to others in need of such assistance.

    Restoration 1 of Acworth Georgia
It went really well. Our hot water heater ruptured while we were at work, and we came home to a flooded house. A friend referred us to Restoration 1 of Acworth. Being local, they got here quickly. They brought in a lot of equipment (drying machines), and even found and remediated a small patch of mold hidden behind the water heater. They were clean and polite, and their technician took the time to explain so I could understand. Thanks Aaron, and Restoration 1.

Mr. Hardee was contacted the week prior to the date of treatment for the crawlspace. He came out quickly and assessed the area. We contacted him the following week and he was out the following day to perform the remediation. We received the certification letter the day after the area was treated. We were in constant communication via email and Mr. Hardee responded promptly and concisely. Great customer service and affordable.
