My guys name is Russell. He was on time and efficient. Left everything tidy. I was very pleased with the work. Shame on Samsung for causing me to have to incur this expense! But I am very happy I found these guys to do the work.

    Dr Fix-it Appliance Repair Co

I used them because that's who the manufacturer recommended. It wasn't a big repair. It felt like they were a little expensive. They were prompt and they did the repair promptly. The guy was very pleasant. They were only here about 10 , minutes. I know they have a minimum, but still... The part wasn't that expensive. It would be nice if they broke down their minimum into a half hour. It wasn't a big fix, they did not have to come very far and it only took them five minutes. I just felt like they could have charged less. Their quality was good. I think they were here on time. If the price was right I would use them again.

The technician called ahead and was right on time for the period promised by the dispatcher. The work was done quickly but with attention to detail. I plan to call for this technician next time we need help.

    Sears Appliance Repair
They had to come back because they had to order part and it only come one a week. So it took a long time and then they realize that there was another problem. So it took a series of trips to resolve it and it would have been really nice if they could have figured it the fits time and had the part with them or gotten it quickly.

Great experience , happy customer.

    Accurate Appliance Inc
Accurate Appliance came out to fix the small leak in our 3-year-old washing machine. On the first trip they didn't find anything wrong so they tightened a few things. After they left we found it still leaking. On the second trip they found a leak near the motor. They had to leave to get parts and returned the same day and successfully repaired the washer. I had printed out a coupon from Angie's List offering $20 off of a repair over $100. I left the coupon on the washer and it was gone when I got home (our nanny had let the technician in the house). Accurate Appliance claimed to not have received the coupon and would not honor it.

Umid came out on time, looked at the refrigerator and figured out in 5 minutes what the problem was. The quote he gave me was 1/2 of what another company wanted for the repair. Umid is very professional, he is very skilled and has a sharp eye for details. He cleaned up after the work was done. I will definitely call him other appliance repair work. - A.K.

Their tech had no idea what he was doing.  He told us that the problem was with the door electronic control module, or some nonsense, and that it needed to be replaced.  at a cost of nearly $300.  Then he proceeded to put Vaseline on the gasket to make is seal better- even though we kept telling him we had no problem with it.
We ended up cancelling the service because no one at the company could get the order right, and we were so fed up with the lack of follow up, we just did not trust them.  And it turns out they were wrong about their diagnosis.
Why the late review?  I just clean out and defrosted the refrigerator because of a clogged evap drain.  And of course, the water started working, because it was simply a frozen water line int he appliance, not bad service module.
I would never trust them again.
And WHY Angie's list, is this company listed as a landscaper?

This may have been the strangest service call I've ever had.  When the guy arrived, he didn't introduce himself, he just sort of came in.  I will say from the outset that he looked frustrated at the time he arrived, maybe he was having a bad day?  We had purchased the package on Angie's List for preventive maintenance service on our washing machine and dryer for $219.  I tried to explain to him what we'd been seeing from the washer, that it shook and moved, and he told me, before even looking at the washer, that the shock absorbers were the problem and that they would need to be replaced and that that wasn't covered by the service I'd paid for.  That is a great start, inspires a bunch of trust, right?

So he had me run a load in the washer.  He watched it through the quick wash cycle of 18 minutes.  He noted that there was something wrong with the pump too, and that also wasn't included.  He gave me a quote for nearly $300 to replace the shock absorbers, and I said that I really didn't have any interest in putting money into this washer.  When the wash cycle finished he said that there wasn't anything wrong with the washer, it was just vibration that we were experiencing.  He suggested getting a mat to put under it.

He then went outside to clean the dryer vent.  I waited.  And waited.  And waited.  About 20 minutes later I went to see if there was a problem, and HE HAD LEFT.  He just up and decided to leave without talking with me.  Oh, and it looked like he had picked out two tufts of fuzz from the vent and dropped them there on the ground outside the vent.

Throughout the visit he seemed exasperated with me, frequently rubbing the bridge of his nose while heavy sighing and looking away from me.  After he said the shock absorbers needed to be replaced I commented that I had thought maybe it was just that the feet for the washer weren't level, and he got REALLY defensive, saying "of course you want it to just be the feet because that would be cheap!  I've looked at over 2000 of these washing machines before and I know what I'm talking about!".

So for my $219 dollars, I got a surly guy to come out and watch my washing machine run for 18 minutes, to never even look at the dryer (he didn't even open up the door to it), to pull two or three tufts of fuzz out of the end of the dryer vent, and then to JUST LEAVE.  So bizarre, and such a complete waste of money.  Stay away from this one!

he did a good job of explaining the best and worst case possibilities before starting the work.  fortunately it came out as the best case outcome and he was able to clear the clock and get my washer working again.
