    I cancelled the repair due to the lack of professionalism of this company. I called them on Friday night because my ac stop working. I got the answering service who took the message and contacted the actual company employee 2 hours later. They set an appointment time for the next day between 8-12. I was told that someone would call me prior to their arrival. I received a call at 730 in the morning but no one was on the other end. I called the number back and it went to voicemail. so I left a message to make sure they didn't cancel on me. 2 hours later no call back from company. so I called the answering service again and this time someone finally bothered to call me back to tell me that they were running late and wouldn't be there at 12. they also said that no one called back because they weren't ready. so I kindly told them to cancel and that id go with another company. If a company doesn't do what they say and then not bother to let you know that plans changed until you call them then I can only imagine how they would actually handle my repair. I wont ever call them again.

    This has to be the most irresponsible and unprofessional company that I've dealt with. My ac went out so I called to make an appointment and they scheduled me for Tuesday from 9 to 11. I waited until 12 on Tuesday and  no one showed up, I got a phone call at 2:30 telling me that they were going to be late. I had left my house already so I rescheduled for the next day from 3 to 5. On Wednesday I came home early from work to be here for the appointment and no one showed up. I called at 4 to find out the status of my appointment and the lady that answered the phone said that she was going to call the technician and would call me back in 15 minutes, she never called. I called again at 5 and she said that they were running late and hung up. No one ever showed up or called to tell me that they were not coming.
    Lesson learned, stay away from this joke of a company.

    Forrest Tucker showed up on a Sunday to help us out with a new house we bought at foreclosure. He was the owner and a consummate professional. Forrest erased all our fears over the hvac condition and did not pressure us into purchasing anything more than we needed- just filters.

    During the estimation phase, Jim Jones came to my house and did a survey.  I already had an idea of the system I wanted and he provided good information and options.  I called him several months later to schedule the work.  There was no pressure.  On the installation day, the crew arrived on time.  The crew was very courteous and professional.  As best as I can tell, they did a first class install and thoroughly tested the system.  Before leaving, they cleaned the area (probably cleaner than when they arrived).  The thermostat operation was explained to me and I was provided an operator's manual.  From start to finish, a great performance.  Another example of why I will only use Angie's List recommendations for jobs that matter!

    Waychoff���s Heating & Air Inc
    Called for service and was told someone would be out in less than 3 hours which was impressive. Ended up that the repair person didnt arrive for 6 hour, 3 hours past the original estimated time. I had to call to make sure they were still coming. They installed the unit about 18 months ago which is why we contacted them since it was still under warranty. It ended up just being a capacitor replacement. The part was free as it was still under warranty. So, they charge $89 trip charge that does not apply to any service provided. Then, another $90 for installation that took less than 15 minutes to diagnose and replace. There are much cheaper providers out there. Another local company provided the part and install and visit for less than $150 on another unit we have that isn't under warranty. If it wouldn't have been under warranty, my husband could have replaced it for probably less than $30, the cost of a new capacitor. Unfortunately, they have lost our business and we will not use Waychoffs again. They may do good work, but their pricing for service after installation is outrageous.

    Capacitor was out and when replaced everything started right up only minor so Sue is that we were told that we would receive a 10% discount for biing a first time customer - never received it.

    Bradham Brothers Inc
    I contacted Bradham Brothers for a quote to replace my heat and AC unit for my rental property. I chose them based on Angie's List Rating as well as a personal reference. A salesman came to my property and quickly got back to me with a quote to replace both the furnace and the AC unit. They were higher priced than what I expected, but because of the recommendation I decided to use them to replace the furnace. I could not afford to replace both units because of the high price I was quoted so only opted to replace the furnace for the time being. Because I live out of state I expressed my concern about not being able to be on site during the replacement and I requested I be contacted about the progress being made at my home, I was assured that would not be a problem. They came out to my property 2 days later and started the work. I was not contacted by the company to let me know what happened that day so I assumed the work was going ok. The following day I received a phone call from my tenant stating there was still no heat in the home and according to them the workers showed up the first day at 9am and only removed the old unit and left at 3:30p and would return the next day. The workers then showed up the following day and according to the tenants they went to the back yard for several minutes then went to lunch. I contacted Bradham Brothers to inquire on the happenings going on at my property and why had I not been contacted on anything that was going on. After 2 days and several phone calls later our tenants finally had heat. After asking for the owner to contact me regarding my experience I still have not received a phone call from them to discuss my issues and it has been 2 weeks since the replacement.

    While we likely are going to have to deal with the hot spots (we just had twins!), I'm impressed with the same day response and next day onsite visit to provide an estimate. If we do need any HVAC work I'll definitely be calling in the future.

    Meeks Heating & Air
    Meeks Heating and Air came to my home on two separate occasions to fix my air conditioner.  During the week,  he first came to my home to diagnose the problem before charging me for parts.  He followed up with a second visit, on the weekend, at no extra charge; to verify there was a leak. He replaced the part and did it quickly. It was comforting to know he took the time to diagnose the real problem and not just fix the wrong thing.   Their the only AC and heating repair company we will use.

    They responded to my call within 10 minutes of when I left a message. The water would not turn off. I had managed to remember how to cut off the water in back of the back so it was no longer creating a flood in the floor. They came at the time stated. Was clear about pricing. Did a great job! The ice maker had to be replaced as the motor was burned out. He repaired the valves or whatever that were broken creating the flood.It has worked perfectly ever since. He was helpful in evaluating at what point it might be beyond what it would be worth it to spend the money given the age of the refrigerator.
