    James Marquis Masonry
Mr. Marquis was paid $6800 for materials. No materials have been purchased, contractor has refused to provide proof of any materials purchased. Contractor has refused to provide a refund of monies given for materials. I have hired an attorney to seek all legal remedies.

All Time Services Design & Construction
All Time Services ordered the door and windows back in May. They were impact windows and a standard door. Not sure when the windows showed up but since we wanted to complete the project all at one time, we waited on the door. It finally showed up in November. This was a door we elected to get through All Time Services. We also had two pillars removed around one of the windows and 3 inch window box frames stuccoed around the windows. Once the door and the stain kit for it arrived, All Time Services went to a big box store and purchased a handle and deadbolt lock for it. As the work was being finished up by the stucco crew, they told me that All Time Services would be back to caulk the area between the window box and the stucco. All Time Services asked me about the new door handle and if it was working properly right after it was installed. I told them it seemed to be fine. Once the project was complete and we tried to get an inspection on it, it wouldn't pass because the window stickers had been removed. My wife and I did this while cleaning up since no one told us they needed to remain on. All Time Services said, yes, we told you this back in May. I find that highly unlikely that they would even think of that 6 months before the windows were even installed and neither my wife nor I recall that conversation. Anyway, he did get in touch with the city and was able to get it passed. Please note that All Time Services did request final payment before the city inspection. Fortunately, we had withheld 50% and informed them we weren't paying until the inspection had passed. The day they came out to receive final payment, which was available the same day they requested it, we asked All Time Services about the caulking that needed to be done. He said he spoke to his stucco man and he told him that they had never told us that. He informed us it would be up to the painter to do this. I've attached a picture of the gap left between the box and the stucco. This is the same on all windows. A bead of caulk around a window box seems minimal to me since the cost of the project was well over $6000.00. My opinion is that since we decided not to use All Time Services for the paint job after the experiences we have had with them, they chose not to do it. We then pointed out that the front door latch seemed to be sticking a bit and we were concerned that it might put to much stress on it and break. He told us that this was because of the make of the door handle and it being heavy and that if we had future issues with it we should contact the manufacturer. This door handle cost $280.00. Once again, I think it's sour grapes since we had informed him prior that we would not be using his company for future projects. When asked about the stain that he ordered for us that came with the door, he said that would also now be a job for the painter. The good news is that 6 months later, the project is complete and we no longer have to deal with All Time Services. I would strongly advise to read any contract carefully and make sure the items you want or think should be included are in there. Do not rely on word of mouth.

    Orlando Brick Pavers, LLC
Excellent overall experience with Orlando Brick Pavers - from their salesman to the owner. All extremely knowledgable and helpful. They had a great selection of pavers to choose from and were flexible with scheduling. Once the work commenced, they were prompt and did a great job. Anytime I had a question, the owner would come right out to review it with me. I was extremely pleased with their work and wouldn't hesitate to use them or recommend them to friends and family.

    James Marquis Masonry
From the first time that I contacted Jim he was very responsive and professional. He gave good advice and sourced correct old brick to match previously used materials. Work was carried out in a timely manner, on the pre-scheduled dates and to a very high standard. We are very happy with all work completed. We would definitely use Jim for any future stone work.

    James Marquis Masonry
Jim and his guys did an outstanding job of installing stone to the exterior walls of our home.  Jim was very responsive from the initial point of contact.  He and his workers were punctual, professional and worked very hard to complete the project.  We will certainly use him in the future for other stone mason projects.

    Fallen Leaf Landscaping
I don't know why I waited so long to do this. I have always admired the landscaping at one
of the original model homes in our neighborhood. It has very large Texas boulders installed in
the landscaping. Like so many Texas homes, our beds and oak tree where trimmed
with Austin stone that was mortared together.
It looks good at first but these types of "tree rings" are a
terrible idea in the long run. As the
soil shifts, as it always does, and the roots grown, the Austin stone starts to
break apart leaving a ragged and dilapidated appearance. Native boulders on the other hand, float with
the ground, and give an upscale natural presentation. I do a lot of improvement type of work myself
but knew these boulders would be too much for me to handle on my own. I was concerned that it would cost a
mint. After researching on Angie's List
and a few other places, I got some quotes and was pleasantly surprised at the
price. I chose Green Leaf due to their
    responsiveness compared to other landscapers.
Dennis was prompt in the initial estimate, follow up calls, and through
the end of the project. The installation
crew was friendly and accommodative. I am very pleased with the finished
product, the price, and the service. I
would easily use Green Leaf again in the future.

    Aabrams Chimneys LLC
according to the website payment page, it indicated that they'd contact within 48 hours or something like that. It's been TWO months and we've not heard from anyone. Though we paid in full on July 2nd. Very disappointing so far

    Tom Easton Construction

This is the second project Tom and his son have done for us.  As with the first, there were no unexpected surprises.  Everything flowed smoothly which once again enabled us as the home owner to be free of any stress.  Tom, Justin and his crew always showed up on time, went to work immediately and quietly.  They are always polite and friendly but always professional.  The work is always first class which makes the end result  beautiful.  Each day before leaving, the work area was always cleaned up and tools and scaffolding stored neatly and safely for the next day.

We feel so fortunate to have Tom, Justin and his crew helping us with our home projects words cannot express. We look forward to the third project to be done. Thanks Tom for everything!

The work was excellent.  They matched up the brick perfectly.  They were reliable and quick.  They had to create a space for a burner that we have and everything fit together nicely.  I will use them again.

    Tom Easton Construction
Tom Easton and his son showed up each morning on time.  They went to work immediately and worked quickly and quietly.  They worked around our pets routine and did it happily .  During the three days the work went  very smoothly.  The jobs that were done were pure perfection like looking at an artist at work.  Justin, Tom's son, did the brick laying and stucco which came out flawlessly.  Tom's management of the entire project went without a hitch.  Before leaving, our property was cleaned up and left in the same state as it was when they first got there.  Tom and his son are true professionals.  We have other projects that will be done in the near future and we have all ready discussed with Tom about doing them as we would never hire anyone else now.  This construction experience went so well we can't believe it and look forward to hiring them again.  We have definitely found the right people and would recommend them highly to anyone.  The price was more than fair and worth every penny!!
