Drywall Repair reviews in Winter Haven

Perfect! Better than we could wish for. We have a home that is mid 1800's and all updates from the early to mid twentieth century. We moved into the house nov., 1987. We bought the house from a family who moved in 1928. We have appreciated what they did with the house and have tried to live in their footprint. Baths are original. We have managed to keep them pristine though we have replaced plumbing, fittings and have redone tile though we managed to find original tile as needed. Kitchen is early 1940's and in pretty near perfect condition. Bob said, "If your buyer says they will tear out the kitchen, don't sell them the house"! We do appreciate. The kitchen has been updated to 21'st century appliances but looks 1940-50's. So the challenge for Bob was to make our kitchen and bathroom work look amazing and not current. That's what he did and it only took 6.5 hours! Our Early and mid century bath and kitchen continue to be near perfect and we are thrilled to have met a contractor who respects our wishes and the beauty of our home. We are thrilled with the work, the price, will call in the future!

Extremely well. Jason & his employees were always on time. They were very quiet workers. Bryan & Scott are the best drywallers we have ever seen, they made our condo look like new. The painting was done with care and they always cleaned up each nite. Raymond the supervisor was friendly and helpful. The walls, woodwork and ceilings look beautiful.

went well. Prompt, managed clean up after job, responded quickly for a touch up that I wanted, and explained the job process as to times for what work they were going to do ie; drywall placement, texture times, when each coat of paint was to be applied and dry times.

After playing phone tag for a week, set up an appointment for an estimate. He no-showed! I can't vouch for his work, I can't speak to his pricing. All I can say is I waited for 2 hours and then called another candidate. Don't want to destroy his rating in case there was some kind of catastrophe, so I will just mark as "fair".

We did meet up with some problems as the shower ordered was the wrong one and it had something wrong with it so it had to go back anyway. We had to wait about a week and the shower they got then fit like a glove. They did a great job installing it and they painted the wall very good. They cleaned up every day that they were here and left it like clean as a whistle. We were very pleased with their work and would recommend the Phillips Corp. any time. I only have a picture in my new phone and I don't now how to transfer them.

Joe and his crew did a wonderful job. Re-tiled the floor, walls and shower (including its floor and ceiling) and also installed a pocket door. Repainted all walls and trim. They were always on time. Joe works along with his crew and works every day (except Sundays) until the job is completed. Cleaned up each day. This was his second job for us and after he finishes a major job he is on right now, he will be back to do some additional work. Trust, reliability, respectfulness = Joe Black!

Showed up with all necessary tools on time and got the job done swiftly so we were able to paint the next day. Also gave tips on how to finish other project we had going on we choose to finish ourselves. Great worker and very knowledgable about his trade of work.

The whole process went very, very well. The whole project took three days. You could tell that he knew what he was talking about. He explained everything so that I knew everything that was going to happen and it was done. My house is lovely now because of the few changes that were made. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody and also if I need work done to my house again, have him get the job done. Overall GREAT,GREAT,GREAT!

Vince was good to deal with. I sent a deposit and his guys showed up as planned. They did not do the best job the first time, seams still showed so they had to come back and fix it. Also there was some confusion about painting. I thought they were going to do a full coat on the whole room, they only painted the ceiling and touched up the walls. It turns out the paint was old and did not match so we will have to repaint the room. Overall not a terrible experience, I would use them again.

CAUTION.  DO NOT HIRE.  Working diligently to recoup a portion of extreme monetary loss.  Not only do we have to hire contractors to correct and  to complete contracted work, but we have to purchase, again, supplies needed to do so.  This company was paid funds to purchase necessary supplies included in contracts.

Only skills at required level - framing, drywall and general carpentry.

    A few of the issues:

Departed with large percentage of work incomplete.  Disorganized and inefficient.  Did not purchase supplies necessary to complete work and leave them on premises. Displayed barely amateur level of painting and knowledge of supplies needed to successfully complete painting projects.  My opinion is that the company personnel do not seriously regard contracts nor do they take any pride in their work.

Sloppy work - painting is horrible in and outside of house.  Sprayed doors in driveway - need to use graffiti remover to remove stains. Deliberately "slopped" paint on an entry door to pool area. Have already spent hours on hands and knees trying to remove paint, texture "plaster" and construction adhesive from carpeting, tile and grout.  This has required literally cutting paint out of carpeting, using bottles and bottles of latex paint and adhesive remover, scraping - with a razor blade - paint from other surfaces.  The originally spotless carpeting was left in horrible condition. We even had to purchase a commercial grade carpet shampooer.

There is no need to continue.  This was a horrible, devastating, destructive, shocking, costly and eye opening experience.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Do not be "taken.".  Before and after photos are available.
