    LAKE HOWELL ANIMAL CLINIC
I can't say enough about Dr Diaz and his staff. The doctor seems genuinely interested and consistantly does a excellent job on the care of our bird. Occasionally we board him at the clinic and he seems to enjoy it. I love Lake Howell Animal Clinic. Dr Diaz is awesome!

    In the Line of Dooty
For 15.oo a week this provider comes every Tuesday and cleans the yard meticulously. when collection of poop is done, he leaves a clean bag of collection for garbage day.
Love this service, I am no longer arguing with my teenagers to clean up after our dog. ( I ended up doing it myself anyway).
I have the lawn service coming in the afternoon on Tuesdays and no longer am running out to clean up after the dog or being embarrassed that there are poop landmines in the yard.

    Orlando Pooper Scooper
He is very pleasant and sweet. He does an excellent job. I use him while on vacation and he will prorate any amount of money for services not done. I highly recommend him! No more fighting with the kids about cleaning up.

    Aussie Pet Mobile of Windermere
Cheryl (owner) responded promptly to my call. They had just had a cancellation so I took the spot. Orlando (groomer) was wonderful. My son's small black lab mix (age 2) appropriately named Shadow is very timid, shy and sticks close to me. She was in desperate need of grooming. Orlando took great care with her ~ kind and gentle as I had explained the situation. Shadow looked and smelled wonderful !!! Orlando gave her and quot;the worksand quot; ~ including Furminator treatmentshe was shedding horribly.and said he hadn't seen anything like it in a very long time. Everything went very well, I was extremely pleased and Shadow didn't appear to be traumatized at all :)
Cheryl called later that afternoon to see how things wenttold her I wouldn't hesitate to use Aussie againand that I would definitely request Orlando :)

    Banfield Pet Hospital
It went well. I have not been bowled over with the personality of the receptionists, but they are efficient and I have not had to wait very long for any of my appts or drop ins. I also use the groomer located in the Pet Smart store so it is convenient. Plus they are open o weekends. A real plus.
I need a few more visits to really assess their consistency.

Dog's Best Friend of Central Florida
Paul is the rosetta stone for dog - he understands the nuance of both the language and the social norms of dogs.  He translates the needs of the dog and the needs of the human, and connects the two into a health, well balanced team.  And the best thing about him is that he is eager to share his wealth of know-how and expertise with you.  I called him in desperation for help teaching my intense, stressed-out german shepherd how to be a better dog.  Turned out the dog was fine, it was me that needed the teaching.  Paul shared his knowledge of how to communicate my expectations with my dog, and to understand what she needs from me.  Although he was able to work his magic in one 2-hour visit, I had him meet me at the dog park a couple of additional times to work with me on the process of helping my dog become more dog-friendly and less aggressive, and me less freaked out and nervous about her behavior.    She and I went from actively avoiding interactions with other dogs to being a regular at the dog park.

We had tried other pet training options, but they seemed more about teaching a particular behavior some place other than home.  Paul came to the house, watched my dog and me interact, and simply started teaching.  He made it uncomplicated, straightforward and easy to accomplish.  The change in my dog was immediate; she seemed relieved that I was finally doing what I was suppose to be doing.   She's a different dog now - arguably the best in all the world -- and I'm a much happier and relaxed dog owner.

I knew immediately that Paul was the right person for the job when he knocked on the door and my dog, instead of going bezerk as normal, stood quietly by the door while I opened it and let Paul in.  Then continued to stand quietly nearby, as opposed to her normal jumping and sniffing, as we walked into the living room and started chatting.  It was a stunning display of his calm communication with dogs!

Paul is Orlando's very own Dog Whisperer.  I can't recommend him highly enough!

    Pawsitively Simple
David, a former animal trainer at Universal Studios,  is not only a dog trainer, but an animal behaviorist, as well.  This being my first dog, and a beagle, at that, he has explained to me how dogs think and react to different situations.  He has shown me how to break some of my dog's bad patterns and replace them with good ones.   He comes to my house and sees my dog in his own environment.  Furthermore, he brings his own dogs and we work on different socialization and interaction techniques.  Don't get me wrong - there is definitely work involved, but David's techniques are spot on.  My dog is going to be with me for at least 10 years, so this is the best investment for both of us that I could have made.

    Aussie Pet Mobile of Windermere
It was easy to make an appointment and when the groomer was running early, she called to ask if she could come earlier than our appointment. It took her a long time to shave him down (2 hours, I think). She did a good job but she never asked what length I wanted, so she basically gave him a buzz cut. He looked a little silly, but I realize hair grows back, so it wasn't a huge problem. I recommend discussing length BEFOREHAND.

    Orlando Dog Groomers
He had my dog so frightened and scared. When he gave my dog back to me, the dog was trembling. She had crap on her back leg and I was so livid. I asked him to it done, pay them, and I told them not to show up in this property again. I will give them an F. He stores his dog grooming ban in the same place that we store our dog. And our long time girl stopped doing it. So, I thought he was ban in here and try him. I was so sad too because she was blind with an older dog and I just wanted to sit down and cry. I did not realize he was on Angie’s List. I tried to do a local thing where you could leave your comments and I do not know how to do it.

The code for the house alarm did not work. The dog walker handled it professionally and called us immediately. She also calmed our dog down since he was nervous due to the alarm. The summary she left captured the high parts of the visit. Great service. Will continue to use.
