Advanced Muffler & Brake of WPB

after checking for vacuum leaks, and if the car was running correct. Advance Muffler checked the two forward oxygen sensors , the two aft sensor for proper operation and verified the problem on bank 1 was a bad catalytic converter, since my car had two converters I was given two options for the repair and chose one. Glenn was very polite and really knows his business. I asked him to look at my rear Brakes after having them replaced at another shop because each time I used them they made a unusual noise. He found the problem and fixed it. I asked why it wasn't on my invoice and was told it was a small charge and since I was quoted a price for the other work he didn't charge me.

These folks are wonderful. Very honest and explain exactly what needs to be done, without anything additional. There is only a delay if the job ahead, has become more involved. Will get you to a rental agencies if you need a car immediately. I am so glad to have them as my mechanics.

I was told by two mechanics that my exhaust was backing up.  I took it to Advanced Muffler and Brake.  They measured the pressure and didn't find the problem. SInce the truck was 20 years old, I asked them to go ahead and replace the catalitic converter and muffler.  They did it in record time and my 20 year old truck has never run more quiet.  These are great guys to deal with.

Orrett is the owner of Auto Tech plus and does amazing work! He takes great care and pride in his work and gives very fair prices with sound auto advice. I went to him a few years ago to get replacement struts, headlights, oil change, etc. I worked nearby his shop and he came to my job, picked up the car, spent the day on it and then when I was finished it was back in the parking lot for me! I left town for a year, but when I returned to get my oil changed and muffler replaced he remembered me and more importantly...he remembered my car! I would reccomend his services to anyone! If you want an independent mechanic who is honost and hard working then definetly go to Auto Tech Plus!!!

I have actually used this mechanic for the past few years. I just had the 100,000 mile service on my Dodge ( I know, I actually got 100,000 out of a dodge) but that is because I found Jimmy . If it doesn't need it, and it's not worth doing on your vehicle, he won't do it. He kept a 300 dollar car going for me for 3 years and I sold it for 800 and never really dumped anything into it. Really, a great mechanic. Also fixed some things on the dodge that the dealership wanted 2000.00 dollars to do that he did for 400 (bargain) Very reasonable, very prompt, has some nice connections for doing other work (painting etc) that are also reasonable. He has had my Dodge exclusively and a couple of other cars that I frankly can't belive he kept running, The only mechanic I will ever use.

    Martino Tire of Okeechobee
I own a Television production studio that produces TV commercials and videos for major corporations, U.S. Congressmen and Governor's. We are also well known for SEO (search engine optimization) in which our clients contact us to build websites and have them placed in the top listings within google and other major search engines. I deal with customers on a daily basis and know the value of treating people with respect. I find it imperative to treat people just as you wish to be treated. As good citizens, I believe we must warn others of those who don't treat people fairly.I took my Mercedes Benz to Martino Tire company to have a routine oil change and the left headlamp replaced. I returned later in the evening to pick up the car. I departed out of the parking lot of their garage onto the highway and lost all power to the engine. My car has a clean carfax report and has never had any major issues. The driver behind me almost rear-ended my car as they passed by blowing the horn. I was able to get the car off the road. After a few moments, it began to regain power. As I drove down to the stop light it continued to lose power, gain power and lose power again. As I did a u-turn, power to the engine increased and I made it back to Martino Tire. Back at Martino I politiely told the mechanic that something was wrong with the car. He asked to take a short test drive in the car. After returning he didn't notice anything wrong, but said "you know the car better than me." He went and spoke with Ralph Nahmod, the general manager. When he returned, the mechanic said, "he told me to tell you to drive it over the weekend and bring it back on Monday." Upset that the manager did not even come out of his office to introduce himself and offer assistance, I said "can't it be looked at right now?" The mechanic told me "he said you'll have to bring it back on Monday." As I drove home, the car did not completely stall (as it did before), but I did notice quite a substantial loss in power. On Sunday, after returning from Church, the car completely stalled on I-95. It took me 2 1/2 hours to make what should have been a 40 min drive. It would not go over 50 mph and about every 4 miles would completely stall, which I would steer the dead car off the side of the road. After about 15 mins of waiting I could get it started back up and drive another few miles. Keep in mind, this car has a very clean car fax report! It is well maintained and is driven less than 5,000 miles per year! Finally, I was able to make it to the Mercedes Benz dealership, just a few miles from Martino Tire. It took the Mercedes dealership several days to determine the cause for the loss of power and constant stalling engine. They were ultimately able to diagnose it as a ruined Mass Airflow Censor. According to the official report from Mercedes it said, " more at

    Muffler Man
I was visiting someone approximately 200 miles from my home. On the way home, there was a loud noise coming from my car and it was undrivable. I called to have it towed at 9:30 PM. The tow driver took a look and confirmed I had a hole in my exhaust. He recommended to tow it to a muffler shop and took it here. I left the car and keys at the shop. I called the shop in the morning and told them my dilemma-I had to be at work at 7 PM and it was a 3 hour drive home. They looked at the car, made their recommendations and quoted me a price. My car was ready in 2 1/2 hours later and I was on the road by 12 noon. Everyone there was sympathetic to my needs and did their best to help me with this unanticipated problem.
