  • This company had good ratings so I selected them. I quickly found out that timeliness and commitment to making appointments was not part of their "DNA". They showed up late 2x (1-3 hours late and one time after confirming an appointment via email, they no showed. The business' ability to respond to voicemail or email normally took between 4-7 business days. Texting was equally poor response time. When I expressed my disappointment repeatedly via voicemail and email, they elected to terminate the contract early. They did return my funds (pro-rated) which is good, however if you are looking for a reliable and responsive local business you can trust related to your home security, I'd look at other alternatives. I got the distinct impression that I was an inconvenience in their day and expressing my disappointment was more than they could tolerate.

  • Phil Davis, from Davis IT Services provided a great service and explained to us everything he was doing step by step, we are now able to use our home computers to log into to perform any additional work that may need to be done after leaving are office. We were extremely happy with Mr Davis, and we have retained him monthly to take care of any problems or concerns we may have with our computers.

  • after voicing my displeasure previously, I was contacted promptly by Carlo at Guardian Hawk. He asked me to voice all my concerns and acted upon them and made things right. I had never had an issue before that incident, and I would highly recommend this company. Just beware there is a 5 year contract agreement, but it is clearly stated in the contract so just make sure you read it closely before signing.

  • TERRIBLE I was in the market for a new alarm company. I was getting quotes from 3 different companies. I own 4 homes in the neighborhood and I have used Vivant at one of them for the past 4 years without issue, so I gave Vivant the opportunity to bid on my personal residence as well. I spoke with a sales person at Vivant on Sunday, June 4, 2016 at about 11:30 AM named Kelton Holbrook, NIS Account Management, P: 877.649.9077 – Ext 0378 his email is: Kelton sold me a Vivant Smart Home System with 6 Cameras and PROMISED to get it installed on Thursday, June 8, 2016 between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. As said, I was getting quotes from 3 companies and my deciding factor was having been a current Vivant Customer at one of my investment properties and the SPEED that Kelton Holbrook (knowing that a fast installation was my motivating factor) assured me that the new system would be installed at my home that Thursday by a Vivant Installer named Paul. Having used Vivant the past 4 years at the other property, I had no problem giving Kelvin a credit card number to guarantee the services and my credit card was charged the 1st months fee in advance. The total amount financed was $3,093.83 and my total monthly payment was to have been $105.06 for 5 years. Kelton emailed the order and my address was wrong. It took 6 attempts to get Vivant to change the address to the correct one at 11446 54th St N, West Palm Beach, FL 33411. I had to call Vivant 6 DIFFERENT TIMES and spent over 4 HOURS on the phone on Sunday trying to get the address and order items CORRECTED. One call I was kept on hold over 15 minutes before anyone answered. After completing the Vivant Customer Survey in an unfavorable manner I was contacted by Camille Bidstrup, Customer Satisfaction Specialist, vivint.SmartHome, Customer Solutions, 4931 N. 300 W. Provo, UT 84604 P: 855.898.8909 Ext: 31111, NO FOLLOW UP… ANOTHER VIVANT DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I received a text message on Monday, June 5, 2017 at 6:30 PM asking me to text YESINSTALL to confirm the install on 6/8 which I did and received a thank you text. I still have this on my IPhone. I had emailed Kelton with questions on the system asking him to call. He didn’t call. On Wednesday, I called Vivant at 8:30 PM to ask my questions. I told the rep that my system was to be installed in the morning and was informed that the Installer had cancelled my installation. I was DUMBFOUNDED AND SHOCKED! I called back and spoke to an Account Manager named Grace with Badge # 144236 at 855-686-4587. Grace said she escalated my order and would try to find an installer and PROMISED to call me back before midnight EST when she went home. SHE NEVER CALLED BACK! Yet another Vivant disappointment. Vivant now tells me they cannot install my system for ANOTHER WEEK until June 16, 2017. BASED ON PROMISSES MADE BY VIVANT IN EMAIL AND TEXTS TO INSTALL THIS SYSTEM ON Thursday, June 08, 2017 I HAVE CANCELLED MY CURRENT ALARM COMPANY SERVICES LEAVING MY PROPERTY UNPROTECTED. I am 63 years old. I am not technical. I trusted Vivant from past dealings. I believe I was promised the Thursday installation to obtain my business and that they have committed: A Crime Against A Senior Citizen, Consumer Fraud, Bait & Switch.

  • Horrible. They are willing to have you leave reviews in order to get a coupon code, but they don't follow through and simply put you on hold forever. What a joke, once the rep came back in talking about an alarm trouble, meaning the same person monitoring the alarm was handling sales calls. Yikes. After 25 minutes, the representative just hung up! Clearly not someone I would trust to keep my home safe.

  • well, we still can't figure out why its telling us sensors aren't working if they're not even connected? Otherwise it seems to work ok. Admittedly, I wish that there were cameras with this setup but thats the way it is.

  • The technician, David Pearson, started out being a very friendly person who I though knew what he was doing. He installed the Radio Alarm System and we had problems from the start. I was surprised that the key to the back digital lock was not the same key as was keyed to all the other doors in the house. He tried to fix that and was not able to fix it. After he complained about the time he spent, I told him to forget it. Than we had constant problems with the remote thermostats . After several attempts, he was not able to repair the remote connection to the upstairs thermostat. He said he could not fix it. I told him to refund my money for the upstairs thermostat and I would get someone else to replace that one. He refunded me $300 and wanted me to return the upstairs thermostat when I had it replaced with a new one. I received a quote for the upstairs remote thermostat of $735 from Gulfstream cooling. I didn't replace it because of the cost. Now he wants his money back because he said I did not return both of the thermostats (upstairs and downstairs). The deal was to return only the one that didn't work but he said I agreed to return both. It has been a terrible experience for me. I had technician from gulfstream come out to verify that the upstairs remote thermostat was not working and I paid for the that service visit. Now he wants me to get a service tech to take the upstairs remote Radio Alarm thermostat out and replace it with a regular thermostat and send his back. That will cost me more money. I agreed to send him half of his $300 back along with one thermostat. Z John Kossak

  • Perfect.  Your Security Connection and it's owner Henk Hork have wonderful attention to deatil.  They show up on time and diagnose issues quickly.  Days, nights, and frequent weekends as electronics always seem to fail at inappropriate times.

  • I got a knock on my door and a young man started on his spiel about the security system. He sold me on the camera door bell! Its amazing and I can speak to anyone that rings my door bell and hear them through my phone. It records as well so you can see if anyone came around your home. He came in and once we signed we had to go to a bday party for my son and came back around 8pm and they installed the same day. The installation took some time and the installer was there till almost midnight to get the work done.  It works, for the most part, well. Lately it has a delayed response when the door opens. It makes a sound that front door, side door, back door is opened when someone opens the doors, however it is starting to be delayed, as well as when someone rings the door bell.
