Car Inspection reviews in West Palm Beach

  • (Price) Its within range. They are like any other Mercedes dealer so you pay for what you get so its pretty hard to say that. (Quality) Its fantastic. I've gone to Mercedes for years. They are very good. (Punctuality) Great. I dont came in contact with the workers, I come in contact with a consultant. It was fantastic. They do everything overall so there is nothing in particular that stands out. I'm from California originally, I've been here in florida for a couple of years, but you know I've had a Mercedes for years and they are a very good dealership.

  • The original owner died and his sons have taken over. So far, I'm not seeing a change and they use some of the same mechanics so I have continued going there and I do expect it to be good. I'm not familiar with the change over of the staff. It's not that they are not doing things correctly. I just need to get to know them better. The prices have always been excellent. It's a family business and it's not far from where I live. I usually just jump in the car and drive over, and they always seem to be able to accommodate me. I usually wait on my vehicle. It's a mechanic shop and it's more of a neighborhood type of mechanic shop but it's clean and air conditioned. Usually there is decent conversation.

  • We got three quotes and this wasn't the cheapest, but they did a through inspection. Came back a second time to advise on a different area of roof a different contractor said was an issue and gave alternate options. They finished job in 2 days.

  • These folks are wonderful. Very honest and explain exactly what needs to be done, without anything additional. There is only a delay if the job ahead, has become more involved. Will get you to a rental agencies if you need a car immediately. I am so glad to have them as my mechanics.

  • Joined Angie's List today to find a reliable transmission shop in the West Palm area to work on my daughter's car, with no luck, so I drove 30 miles to see the guy I've gone to for years, Bob, owner of Jim's Auto Repair. (His shop is very close to my place of employment.) Fitting me in within an hour, he listened to my explanation, put my car on the rack and had his staff take a look at it, then he test drove it. After all that, he said everything was fine, except the last person who changed the oil (thanks, Firestone) neglected to properly tighten the oil plug.
Now in the past, there have been times when the news was not nearly so good, but this is a prime example of why I travel to his shop... how many auto repair shops would take a car from a person who had (wrongly) diagnosed a serious problem, take the time to really check it out, and then charge next to nothing to fix some other guys poor work!
I don't want to give the impression that Bob is there to give away services; I've had major work done in the past that was expensive, but not unreasonably so. Most important to me, in addition to providing excellent, professional service at a fair price, this is a guy you can trust.

  • This shop was recommended by a friend and I was very happy with how I was treated. Very friendly and reasonably priced. The owner even drove the car to make sure that it was still in good condition after a cross-country trip. Would recommend.

  • I own a Television production studio that produces TV commercials and videos for major corporations, U.S. Congressmen and Governor's. We are also well known for SEO (search engine optimization) in which our clients contact us to build websites and have them placed in the top listings within google and other major search engines. I deal with customers on a daily basis and know the value of treating people with respect. I find it imperative to treat people just as you wish to be treated. As good citizens, I believe we must warn others of those who don't treat people fairly.I took my Mercedes Benz to Martino Tire company to have a routine oil change and the left headlamp replaced. I returned later in the evening to pick up the car. I departed out of the parking lot of their garage onto the highway and lost all power to the engine. My car has a clean carfax report and has never had any major issues. The driver behind me almost rear-ended my car as they passed by blowing the horn. I was able to get the car off the road. After a few moments, it began to regain power. As I drove down to the stop light it continued to lose power, gain power and lose power again. As I did a u-turn, power to the engine increased and I made it back to Martino Tire. Back at Martino I politiely told the mechanic that something was wrong with the car. He asked to take a short test drive in the car. After returning he didn't notice anything wrong, but said "you know the car better than me." He went and spoke with Ralph Nahmod, the general manager. When he returned, the mechanic said, "he told me to tell you to drive it over the weekend and bring it back on Monday." Upset that the manager did not even come out of his office to introduce himself and offer assistance, I said "can't it be looked at right now?" The mechanic told me "he said you'll have to bring it back on Monday." As I drove home, the car did not completely stall (as it did before), but I did notice quite a substantial loss in power. On Sunday, after returning from Church, the car completely stalled on I-95. It took me 2 1/2 hours to make what should have been a 40 min drive. It would not go over 50 mph and about every 4 miles would completely stall, which I would steer the dead car off the side of the road. After about 15 mins of waiting I could get it started back up and drive another few miles. Keep in mind, this car has a very clean car fax report! It is well maintained and is driven less than 5,000 miles per year! Finally, I was able to make it to the Mercedes Benz dealership, just a few miles from Martino Tire. It took the Mercedes dealership several days to determine the cause for the loss of power and constant stalling engine. They were ultimately able to diagnose it as a ruined Mass Airflow Censor. According to the official report from Mercedes it said, "...read more at WWW.MartinoTireSucks.com

  • Probably the most responsible Toyota dealer in the area. They are professional, they are very competitive with the prices when it comes to work, and with the lease prices. Workers are professional.
