Auto Glass Repair reviews in West Palm Beach

    Safelite AutoGlass
The windshield replacement was done at the home. I made an appointment and was given a four hour window for the day of the scheduled appointment. I received a call the day of the repair and the technician (Richard) showed up at the beginning of the scheduled visit (very punctual). The work was completed in about 45 minutes and looks good. I have no expectations of a problem (leak) but will update this review if a problem develops. No price for the work performed is given because it was covered by insurance. Richard was very professional and friendly and appeared to do a fine job.

I've had good experience with them. They didn't charge me anything, my insurance covered it. The quality was fine. There were no issues. It was excellent, no problems, no leaks, nothing like that. The service worker was professional.

The cost was through my insurance. They come to your home and do it, and not only do they repair your window, they vacuum your car, and wash your other windows. The interaction with them was great, and the work they did was great.

It was a fantastic experience. They came to my house, at the time they said they would be here. The took care in inspecting my car before they started to do any work. The work was completed and they not only replaced the windshield they vacuumed my car and cleaned the windows. Excellent customer service!!

I found them to be completely unprofessional and customer un-friendly. The service was scheduled and the technician called prior to arrival and said there would be a balance of $554.18. I checked with my insurance company and as always, because this is Florida, there is no deductible for windshield repair. I was told by the insurance company that they had a contract with Safelite and there would be no problem. But Safelite keeps saying they don't have confirmation. They went as far as to tell me the insurance company was not answering the phone, despite the fact that I have called four times today and they answered each time.
When our insurance agent gets involved (we are a large company with several locations and over 30 vehicles) it all turns out that the person who took the original order at Safelite, failed to enter our coverage as and quot;comprehensiveand quot;. That is what caused a day of grief for so many people. I had to take a truck out of service all day, for nothing. And now it has to be taken out of service again on Monday. So Safelite ends up costing me more money than the windshield is worth.
As a side note, to add salt to the wound, Safelite gives a number on their website for and quot;Customer Serviceand quot;. When called, they inform you that it is and quot;Executive Serviceand quot; ?!?!?!! I was informed that they only deal with warranty issues and would have to transfer me to sales. They may want to re-think their telephone number listings.

    Quality Tint & Detail
We got an estimate to apply darker tinting to the windows in our Toyota Prius from Keith at Quality Tint and Detail.  After thinking it over and looking at reviews here on Angie's List and other places we decided to give him the job.  He told us he could do it the next morning and gave us a time.  He showed up almost to the second at the time he gave us.  He told us the job would take about two hours.  He finished a bit before then and spent time telling us what to expect from the tinting.  I must admit I was a bit skeptical because the tinting had some waviness in it but Keith reassured me that would go away within a few days.  He warned us not to roll the windows up or down for at least five days and preferably seven.   It has been seven days now since the job and ever bit of waviness has disappeared just as Keith said it would.  The job is perfect.  I can find no flaws anywhere.  The windows look as if they were tinted by the factory.  He also told us that the tinting would filter 99 percent of the UV rays which is what we were most concerned about.  The Prius has a lot of glass and because of its aerodynamic design the glass is at angles that allow the sun to shine in.  Now the car is much cooler even when left outside.   I highly recommend this company for after market tinting.  This is the company that is used by most of the dealers in the area.  He has been in business for over 20 years so he must be doing things the right way.  They did a great job on our car and we are totally satisfied.  The price was very reasonable, they come to your house or place of business,  they show up on time, and they do a great job.  What else could you ask for?

    Martino Tire of Okeechobee
I own a Television production studio that produces TV commercials and videos for major corporations, U.S. Congressmen and Governor's. We are also well known for SEO (search engine optimization) in which our clients contact us to build websites and have them placed in the top listings within google and other major search engines. I deal with customers on a daily basis and know the value of treating people with respect. I find it imperative to treat people just as you wish to be treated. As good citizens, I believe we must warn others of those who don't treat people fairly.I took my Mercedes Benz to Martino Tire company to have a routine oil change and the left headlamp replaced. I returned later in the evening to pick up the car. I departed out of the parking lot of their garage onto the highway and lost all power to the engine. My car has a clean carfax report and has never had any major issues. The driver behind me almost rear-ended my car as they passed by blowing the horn. I was able to get the car off the road. After a few moments, it began to regain power. As I drove down to the stop light it continued to lose power, gain power and lose power again. As I did a u-turn, power to the engine increased and I made it back to Martino Tire. Back at Martino I politiely told the mechanic that something was wrong with the car. He asked to take a short test drive in the car. After returning he didn't notice anything wrong, but said "you know the car better than me." He went and spoke with Ralph Nahmod, the general manager. When he returned, the mechanic said, "he told me to tell you to drive it over the weekend and bring it back on Monday." Upset that the manager did not even come out of his office to introduce himself and offer assistance, I said "can't it be looked at right now?" The mechanic told me "he said you'll have to bring it back on Monday." As I drove home, the car did not completely stall (as it did before), but I did notice quite a substantial loss in power. On Sunday, after returning from Church, the car completely stalled on I-95. It took me 2 1/2 hours to make what should have been a 40 min drive. It would not go over 50 mph and about every 4 miles would completely stall, which I would steer the dead car off the side of the road. After about 15 mins of waiting I could get it started back up and drive another few miles. Keep in mind, this car has a very clean car fax report! It is well maintained and is driven less than 5,000 miles per year! Finally, I was able to make it to the Mercedes Benz dealership, just a few miles from Martino Tire. It took the Mercedes dealership several days to determine the cause for the loss of power and constant stalling engine. They were ultimately able to diagnose it as a ruined Mass Airflow Censor. According to the official report from Mercedes it said, "...read more at WWW.MartinoTireSucks.com
