AKnowles Spray Foam, LLCBottom line up front: Bill and his crew are by far the best guys I have hired in my home renovation (including another spray foamer) and I highly recommend them for taking care of your spray foam insulation needs. I’m a first time home-owner and am learning many lessons pretty quickly; the first thing I would say is trust your gut if something doesn’t seem right or the contractor is pushing you. I did not and hired a spray foam company that was run by a friend of a friend and was given the ‘friends and family discount’. This contractor pushed me to move up my timeline promising not to interfere with the HVAC work I had going on. Only he totally interfered and caused quite a few headaches. After talking with some people, I decided to look for another spray foam company to ask their recommendations on a few items that made me uneasy and also see about adding my garage to be foamed since the first contractor didn’t even want to do that. This is when I found Knowles Spray Foam. Bill is extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming. During our initial conversation I found out that the existing blown in insulation should have been vacuumed out yet it hadn’t. Additionally, Bill without hesitation recommended that the attic have small A/C supplies and return to cycle the air and sealed up soffits. My prior contractor waffled on this when discussing with another contractor as we were trying to settle the proper way to do it. Finally, he also was adamant that any A/C ducting be fully behind the foam and not running out of the foam barrier only the re-enter it again exposing it to the high temps in the garage attic. I tell you all of this because it’s the kind of know how that I wanted and expected from the first company I hired. It feels much better when you’re confident in the knowledge/expertise of the people working on your house. Beyond the knowledge, Bill’s sense of duty and pride in his work is the highest I’ve seen and above what I expected. He literally told me “if you’re not happy, then I’m not happy” and when there was a question about whether a certain portion of the air conditioned attic was not fully sealed in or had a thin coat (from prior contractor) Bill and his guys were there without any sort of push back. He and his guys treated my mom with respect (she is helping me manage the house while deployed) and were very accommodating explaining to her what they were going to do and the building code that they were trying to adhere to. I cannot give this company a higher praise and in my opinion there only exists one spray foam company in the state of Florida that is worth dealing with. You will not be disappointed in hiring this team; hands down best experience I’ve had.- Mitchell A.

They showed me the product they would use, estimated the material, and charged me accordingly. All in all, the price was less than the others. ATotal Home RoofingThe first step was to demo a bathroom that was built in 1985 and never updated. There was a stand up shower, double sink vanity, toilet and bedee. Everything went including the flooring and we found that years of water leaking under a window and behind the shower had literally rotted the wood. A conference was held to discuss options as this was not expected in the contract. It was decided to remove all of the rotted wood and mold and remove the leaky window. We replaced it with new wood, insulation and the most beautiful glass block wall that just highlights all of the rest of the work. The tile and stone work is the work of "old world craftsman' and when the job was completed, the work site was cleaned up and ready for use. WE now have a beautiful open rock shower trimmed in Miami block, a 60" dual massage tub, double vanities and a toilet in its own private alcove. Everything we wanted.- David C.

ATotal Home RoofingI decided to get the work done in two phases. Phase I began August 13 and included installing hurricane-impact windows and doors and was completed on schedule in 5 days. Phase II began October 7, was the major portion of the remodel, and was completed ahead of schedule in 6 weeks. I couldn't ask for a better contractor and am extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of work. I pretty much had all my details worked out in advance, so all the ordering of cabinetry, countertop material, etc. went quite smoothly. There was hardly a day when some kind of work wasn't in progress. I would highly recommend Total Home Contractors for all your remodel needs. Note: I purchased the kitchen appliances, faucet, and ceiling fans myself and the contractor installed them as part of the project.- Patricia S.

ATotal Home RoofingThe new roof was removed and installed in 2 days as Kevin promised. The skylights had to be installed at a later date because they were a custom size and they replaced all the rotten wood at no additional cost for the inconvenience. I was impressed with the quality of the work and the thorough cleanup performed by the roofing crew. They worked late each evening to get the work done and cleaned up each day before they left. I upgraded the roofing materials and still thought the price was a good one. The insulation was installed in less than an hour with no mess, a pleasant surprise. I was really pleased the fact that Kevin maintained contact with me and was willing to make corrections and changes with no hassles. He also provided us a mitigation form to take to the insurance company at no extra charge. If you want a new roof, I would highly recommend this group and having Kevin as a contact was a bonus!- Janet & David B.

ATotal Home RoofingRob was one of 7 contractors that supplied bids for the project. Although not the lowest bid we were very comfortable with him and his professionalism. His bid was detailed and very comprehensive. After selecting Total Home as our contractor Rob remained our contact throughout the project and was very hands on. This was an important aspect of the agreement for us because we lived in another state at the time. We came to town once a month or so throughout the renovation to check on the progress and to give approvals. We completely gutted our home from top to bottom. The only thing remaining after the demo was the roof and studs. Total Home did a wonderful job with the entire renovation. Rob worked extremely well with my wife and I as well as our design team. He called frequently to ask questions or make suggestions if he saw potential problems. The renovation is complete and the house looks wonderful. Exactly as we had pictured it and done with the quality that we expected.- Jack M H.

CIn 2019, we installed cooling and heating system and Jeremy Sorum showed up and showed us a cooling brand and after we accepted it, he try to sell us lower brand and I said no. Then after 6 month, we had warranty called and he try to sell us maintenance service for $180 and after I said no and ask him a question he yell at me. So I let him to finish his job and left. Please do not let him in your house. Jeremy Sorum think that you do not know anything and can trick you and sell you high price AC brand. The lady owner was informative and nice to us.

He and his team arrived on the scheduled day at the scheduled time. They completed the work within four hours, and included at no additional charge the tasks of leveling two other pool deck slabs that had sunken slightly due to gutter downspout runoff.
