    Perry Wright Home Repairs
These guys rock. I would guess they are one of the best in Brevard. Very good workmanship. They did a lot of restoration to cedar siding of my house which has needed it for years - even before I owned the house. Dave is a fantastic carpenter. Between the two, they can do anything and they won't walk all over you. But if you're looking for dirty deeds done dirt chrap, these aren't the guys. They provide quality at a reasonable price. As with anyone, money talks. They'll put you back in the black!

They did a great job. They were on time (actually early), walked me through everything that they were going to do before the job and showed me everything they did after the job. Ken called to ensure it was to my satisfaction. Jason was very professional and cleaned up everything after he was finished. He was polite, efficient and very responsible. I would highly recommend.

    Radical Renovations
I had called Joseph for a quote for just labor of a tile install in a 77sqft bathroom. price that he quoted was $1.75 SqFt. I setup an appointment with him for 0900. he arrived one hour late and once he did he said that he know that we agreed on a price but now he need to change it to $200. Reluctantly I agreed because I needed the work done. One positive thing, he did do a little extra work ( 3 extra tiles for a shower) His partner Dart did almost all the work with Joseph leaving most of the time. Dart finished the work in about 4 hours. All that was left was for them to grout the tile. Joseph gave me his word that he would be back the next morning to finish the work. So I wrote Joseph a check fully expecting for him to arrive the next morning, especially since I had asked him to give me a quote for two larger jobs. Of course he did not show up and wouldn't return my call. I am not glad that I did not use him for the other job or I could be out a lot more money. The work it self was OK at best. many uneven tiles and lots of mortar in the grout lines would not recommend base on his integrity

The work ethics are excellent and I would recommend him to a friend. The work was finished on time as promised. And the workmanship was excellent. I would definitely call again for any additional work.

    In & Out Construction
Pete installed countertops for a rental house I am fixing up.  I had some other contractors come out who estimated much higher or said they wouldn't even do that job.  Pete was very punctual and even answered a lot of my questions of the details of what he was going to do.  He seemed very competent and did a great job and even cleaned up after himself.  I would definitely use him again.

    The Handyman Company
Our repairman is named Wes. He was VERY personable, professional, and skilled. He worked hard, got everything done in a timely manner, and cleaned up after himself. He wasn't able to complete the installation of the fan as the electrical part of it was too complicated, but the other than that, the fan is fully installed to the point I just need an electrician to figure out the extra wire. Wes gave me a full credit on that part of the job even though he had done 95% of the work. I'm already beginning my list for the next time I call The Handyman Company. They went out of their way to accommodate my needs.

    Advance Contracting Services
To correct the review given over the phone.  I reported that the Provider, Ken Truffa, owner/operator of Advance Contracting Services, does not possess the license he claims in his advertisement.  Angie’s Trade Licensing Division completed an audit and found no license, the Provider clarified he doesn’t do any work that requires a license. I paid from receipts for materials; however, Ken retrieved those receipts from my kitchen before leaving my home.  Day two, I hung on to the receipt and there was an item that was not used on my job and was not left with me.  When I asked Ken for the receipts he took on the first day, he said he would send them to me, but I never heard from him again.   My front door was scraping the flooring; he adjusted it and installed a sweep.  The door now takes two hands to lock the deadbolt when leaving and from inside you have to push against the door to lock it - he had to notice that!  In less than a month, his installation of the sweep failed.  This job will have to be inspected by a professional and redone properly. I wanted to secure the tile in the tub/shower surround so I hired Ken to inspect the area and grout and caulk where needed.  Hiring a general contractor, I did not expect to see caulk instead of grout from top to bottom in both corners of the tub/shower surround. Come on! Only a home owner would do that for a cheap temporary fix.  The toilet needed to stop rocking and be grouted or caulked and it is caulked and rocking.  This job will have to be inspected by a professional and redone properly. Ken replace the exterior garage door trim, he did not fill in the holes where the nails or screws were put in.  I thought the material used was a PVC or something that did not require painting or maintenance but it is already scuffed and actually looks like a material that might not even be for exterior use.  Unfortunately, I don't know what he used and will have to have it inspected by a professional to find out if it will have to be replaced or if the installation only needs to be completed. I needed a kick plate installed on my screened porch and Ken suggested a plastic product.  Honestly, I didn't pay that much attention, I figured a general contractor would be suggesting something comparable and professional looking.  His solution turned out to be a 3/4" thick board installed along the inside.  The board is mounted to the aluminum framing and rests on the floor; this solution does keep the dirt from entering the porch.  However, dirt can still pass through the screen and become trapped in the 2" gutter that has been created inside my porch and is a nightmare to clean and makes one heck of a haven for all kinds of bugs and such.  Plus, it looks absolutely ridiculous!!!!  The missing item purchased was for some spline to replace the screen in the door on the porch.  Ken couldn't do that, stating to my son that the material I had was weed block.  The material was still in its original packaging and is clearly identified as a heavy duty pet screen.

Replied to most of my calls in a timely manner. They did a great job installing my curtain rod brackets, and most especially my ceiling fans. Even though majority of my ceiling fans were difficult at times to install, they still pushed through to get the job done. The only thing I would have liked, was to get a receipt for the work that was done, and to have had some sort of work order for the correct prices that were quoted so that both parties know where they stand. Other than that, they guys were great !!!
