    ASP Windows and Doors
Contacted several companies prior and Jonathan at ASP Windows gave us the best quote. Delivery of impact windows did take awhile but not unexpected , as we were advised of the time. The installation crew did an awesome job. They made sure everything was covered and when finished they cleaned up. Highly recommend this company.

The only response I got from a quote request. Leon called within 15 minutes of getting the notification and was able to schedule the appointment for the next day. He came out, assessed the the problem and gave us quote. He completed the work the same day. Very pleasant experience all around.

    Paradise Exteriors LLC
After shopping for hurricane-proof windows & doors 3 months ago we came across Paradise Exteriors. They were 5-stars across the board. Very impressed with the work done & services offered. Salesperson was very professional and knowledgeable about the product offered. Impeccable install team as well. Job well done!

I called to get a bid on the replacement of all exterior doors and windows for a house in Miramar which is in Broward County. They are located exactly 19 miles from the house but refused to bid the job. First the girl who answered did not even know where Miramar is. She asked me if Miramar is in Broward or Dade County. I asked "where are you located that you don't even know Miramar is in Broward County? She said, "I just found out where Miramar is and we don't service Miramar. I looked at their address and my address and found they are 19.2 miles away and TO JUDGEMENTAL to service a house in Miramar. NEXT!!!

    Tru Colors Contracting
This was a trying experience for me.  I had extenuating circumstances that made this job take forever. I had a leaking carport roof, stucco work to do, termites to get rid of and wood replacement to do before the house could be painted.   John came to pick out paint colors.  I didn't want anything to dark or to light.  I picked out 3 from his color samples.  When I came home from work, there were 3 colors that I didn't pick out on my wall for testing.  I made him come back and put on the ones I wanted to see on the wall.  I picked out a color from HD and gave it to him as one of the new samples.  Which was the one that I chose to do my entire house with.  When the pressure cleaning crew finally were able to come, they didn't do a very good job on the house.  All the surfaces were uneven, paint was pressured off in spots and some places were never touched by high power water. The best part of the pressure washing was the sidewalks.  I still have some paint chips around the base of the house.  The house was spray primed and then paint sprayed on the house the next day.  It was a windy day which surprised me that they opted to spray the house that day.  As it turned out, all the spray was uneven and  some spots could see the previous paint through the new.  I made them come back.  There was white paint from the trim on the blue paint on the walls. They fixed that also. None of the windows were recaulked, they just painted over what was there.  They had to fix that.
I have a downspout in front that was re-hung upside down that they removed when painting the wall.  I had a flooded mess from the heavy rains, they came back to fix that.  I was not happy.  The office sent a person to collect the remainder of the money, and I said what?  The ceiling to the carport and the floor was never painted!  (they were both listed in the contract).  So they had to come finish that.  It was said to me that "this was overlooked in the contract and that they were told not to do it".  I had to call and correct that.  When they came to do those 2 jobs, all my paint was collected by a worker and taken with him.  I had no paint to touch up anything on the house or the color of the white paint.  He was not suppose to take that but he did.  They had to get more paint to finish the job.  There was blue paint on my white back door, they fixed that.  A crew left chicken bones and bottle caps in the yard all over, my dog (who has a sensitive stomach and special diet) got a hold of all of that, I was not happy about the utter disrespect of peoples property they had.  One of the crew members dumped blue paint (about a quart of paint) in the yard under one of my trees, the dog had blue paws for a few days by getting into that and therefore had blue paw prints on my white tiles in the house. By this point, I was angry!   So when a man  came to see everything, he just covered the blue paint on the ground with dirt.  I had to make him put my house numbers and mail box back on the wall.  The roof under the carport was bubbling and peeling.  I asked if anybody scraped the ceiling after the pressure wash.  I was assured they did.  Paul (the owner) said that the roof was still leaking.  I called the roofer back and he could find no water under the bubbles. I made the painter  come back to scrape all the bubbles.  The paint just peeled off in strips.  I was there to make sure it was done right this time.   After all was scraped, it was primed and painted once more.  NOT ONE PROBLEM since doing it the right way.  When all said and done, I am happy with the look of my house now.  It was an adventure from start to finish.  I felt like the crew was inexperienced in their workmanship and ethics.  One member even asked me how much I paid for the job?  I told him enough!
It took me a few months to write this review, I was not sure I wanted to do it but, now, I want to hopefully prevent someone else from trusting people without supervising their work.

    Juliao Garage Doors Inc
First, all contacts were polite, prompt and professional from office personnel.  The gentleman who did the repair was professional and repaired everything including the lock that had been installed wrong since the home was built...pre1970.  We are so pleased that we would recommend this vendor to anyone who needs a garage door tune-up and repair.  These people are not like others where the price varies greatly if it is not a door they originally installed.  All doors treated the same.

    Florida Home Improvement Associates
Although we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the product and the workmanship of installing the two doors and one sidelite by Florida Home Improvement, the sales team was very pushy and to me evasive and deceptive. On a Friday in October, 2012 we signed a tentative contract with a 3-day clause to cancel without any obligation and gave them a down payment in the form of a check. Upon reviewing the deal, after 2 business days we attempted to contact them to cancel this contract but got the run around several times and were told us it was too late. At this time we were pressured to maintain the deal. We had contacted our insurance rep the same day because we were curious about credits and discovered that we needed to install hurricane standard doors and windows throughout the home. We have two more doors, a sliding door as well as tons of windows around the house so we felt the cost of just replacing the 2 doors and 1 sidelite did not warrant the work to be done.
Both locking mechanisms had issues right away and they quickly had someone replace one and adjust the other. However, we continually had problems with one adjusted lock and a couple months later, a key broke off in it. They responded quickly and with no charge installed a new one.
FHA also did arrange financing for the balance of the project which we appreciated. However, in the long run, the cost of over $10,000 for these products and installation was way too much.
In the first few weeks after installation was completed, on three different occasions we were contacted to inquire about other services they provided including window filming and attic insulation. I realize that this is running a business but even if their product and installation services is a good quality, the price and sales pitch turned me off from using them in the future.
I hope that BJ's Warehouse, where we originally encountered this company, reconsiders using Florida Home Improvement as one of their preferred contractors

Wonderful!!!  Armando is such a nice, polite young man.  The work was done on time and the cost was reasonable.  He answers his own phone and is extremely accommodating.  I have already recommended him to my friends and I would certainly use him again.
