Woodworking reviews in Wellington

We had hired a contractor to remodel our master bathroom. He sent a man who worked for 6 days demolishing the room, removing a doorway and installing a new bathroom door entrance. After 6 days we never saw him again. At the recommendation of a local realtor, we then hired Mario Melendez to finish the job, which would include installing cement board in shower area, tiling shower area, installing shower head, etc. and the toilet and finish details. He brought Luis who worked for 2 days in the shower area putting up cement board, tiling half of the walls, and cementing a new shower floor. (We have since found out that some of the work was not done correctly, necessitating another demo.) The man had a heart attack and we did not see him again. A job that Mario first told us would take 2 - 3 days was stretched to 27 days, during which time Mario made an appearance on maybe 8 - 10 days sometimes only for an hour or two. He told us about 2 tilers whom he said would finish the job, but they never showed. We last saw Mario Melendez on Feb. 11. He was here for about 1 hr. that day. We had paid him amount listed below. Photo shows what the bathroom looked like when he left.

Black and Gold Contractors did a fantastic job on a renovation in one of our bedrooms. There was a massive mirrored Built-In that simply wasnt our style, took up to much bedroom space, and didnt work for our needs in that particular room. Shessica, her father, and their crew did a fantastic job removing it along with repairing all the drywall, molding, and ceiling in the process. Additionally, they painted the entire room, installed high-hats, matched flooring in that room and in a closet in another bedroom, and replaced hallway high-hats with updated ones that will save on electricity in the long-run. I felt they were extremely fair priced, professional, timely, and even finished the job ahead of schedule. They were even patient with me when I was indecisive about the paint color. The room now looks so much bigger and I couldnt be happier with their quality of work. I attached two pictures (Before with built in and After Without) for reference, but dont feel my pictures do it justice. I would recommend them for any large or small jobs and will hopefully be using them again sooner then later to install a built-in/feature wall in are family room. Do not hesitate to contact them if you need anything done...large or small. It truly was a blessing to not have any issues what-so-ever like other stories that I have heard. They are my new go-to for all renovation and other needs!!!

John always keeps his word, which is probably the one of the most important things that you can ask for in a contractor. He is punctual, and his crews are self directed and professional. Let me break that down further for you; they are craftsman who do only the very best work. Tile work where miter edges are so precisely cut, you can barely see a seem. Precision placement and cuts, perfection in drywall and perfect joints on every single piece of trim. Mason work on counter tops that is exceptional. Flawless attention to details, and I am exceptionally picky about details. but the crew... the heroes. You can trust them. They don't take your stuff, borrow your tools or disrespect your home. Every day they come on time, and every day they clean up after themselves. They take all the debris away daily and sweep up as they are leaving. They are careful, considerate and polite. John said "you'll see, you going to leave the house and feel comfortable leaving them there alone in no time", and he was right. Reviews are often faked, but this isn't one of those and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. I am an attorney in the State of Florida, and I have an ethical obligation to be truthful in what I say. It's something very important to me, so if you want to know if I'm being honest, look me up. Bar number 119926, call me and I will tell you how it is. I can't say your experience will be what mine was (and will be in the future) with John, but if history is a predictor of how your project will turn out, I suggest you call him today, right now, don't wait and don't bother calling around unless you're interested in wasting time.

It went better than I expected. Im always a bit nervous having workers perform work at my house but Antonio was not only on time, but personable and courteous. He completed everything I needed done and I was impressed with the quality of his work. I would definitely hire him again as well as refer him to others I know.

The crew knew exactly what the challenges were and performed their jobs well. This included removal of roof tiles to the underlayment, repair of roof, removal and replacement of facia with 2 x 8 cedar, seal and paint the new facia. When Hyde Screening finished the gutter installation, Latite finished the roofing work.

All was done on time beautiful and everything was done in budget. I am very happy with my choice as he was not the lowest or highest bid but the one I felt comfortable with. He has his own team and does not contract out his work.

I had less then a week to make this happen. I had to design, source materials and manufacture this trunk in one week and Rasin did the carpentry to make it possible. It turned out perfect and the clients where extremely impressed with the quality, and design. It is now on tour with an international star. His standards of high quality and perfection were needed and he met the challenge for me and my clients. I would recommend him for any quality woodwork project where excellent creative design and perfect manufacturing is required.

The owners came to my house to see what needed to be done. Extremely professional. They arrived on time, covered all flooring with brown paper and covered all furniture and area rugs with huge plastic, even in areas they were not working on. Everything came out better than expected...this company is PHENOMENAL. I have OCD and I'm difficult to please. They did exactly what I needed, and I even left them in my home alone for hours, I normally would never do that. I have decided to hire them again for our new penthouse in PBG intercoastal. I definitely recommend J&J Popular Painting.

It took longer than anticipated but that wasn't due to the contractor. When the money provided to me for living expenses from my homeowner's insurance ran out, Cinergy picked up paying my rent until the work was finished. They went above and beyond when it came to the restoration of my house. It's beautiful! The craftsman ship is excellent. I'm very happy.
