Flooring reviews in Wellington

Black and Gold Contractors did a fantastic job on a renovation in one of our bedrooms. There was a massive mirrored Built-In that simply wasnt our style, took up to much bedroom space, and didnt work for our needs in that particular room. Shessica, her father, and their crew did a fantastic job removing it along with repairing all the drywall, molding, and ceiling in the process. Additionally, they painted the entire room, installed high-hats, matched flooring in that room and in a closet in another bedroom, and replaced hallway high-hats with updated ones that will save on electricity in the long-run. I felt they were extremely fair priced, professional, timely, and even finished the job ahead of schedule. They were even patient with me when I was indecisive about the paint color. The room now looks so much bigger and I couldnt be happier with their quality of work. I attached two pictures (Before with built in and After Without) for reference, but dont feel my pictures do it justice. I would recommend them for any large or small jobs and will hopefully be using them again sooner then later to install a built-in/feature wall in are family room. Do not hesitate to contact them if you need anything done...large or small. It truly was a blessing to not have any issues what-so-ever like other stories that I have heard. They are my new go-to for all renovation and other needs!!!

I, too, was impressed by the numerous very positive reviews for Best Value Kitchens and Nelson, the owner. I called late one afternoon and left a message. To my pleasant surprise, he called the next morning and apologized for not returning the call the same day, explaining why he had not been able to. In discussing a visit in order to present a quote, he said he would call me when he was able to check his schedule as he was in traffic during the call. That conversation told me he was responsive and organized and did not make rash promises -- and would therefore be someone I would be comfortable working with. Throughout the project, he and Mike G., the Project Manager, were reasonable and easy to work with and demonstrated a true desire to provide quality work and please their customers. The tradesmen were typically on time each day and did a good job of cleaning up before they left. Mike was also typically always there at the start of the big work days to introduce the workers and discuss with us what was planned for the day. No renovation ever goes perfectly smoothly and in our case, whenever we had a question or issue, it was never a problem to get the matter addressed and resolved. The plumber did a good job in placing the new sink and piping so now our under-sink area looks more streamlined. We also appreciated the careful way in which the stove backsplash tiles were chosen and laid to make the pattern look its best. We have a special appreciation for Mike for suggesting a relocation of the refrigerator and for arranging a replacement of our existing pass-through marble sill with the new counter-top quartz material! We have already told Nelson we will be contacting him regarding another project.

John always keeps his word, which is probably the one of the most important things that you can ask for in a contractor. He is punctual, and his crews are self directed and professional. Let me break that down further for you; they are craftsman who do only the very best work. Tile work where miter edges are so precisely cut, you can barely see a seem. Precision placement and cuts, perfection in drywall and perfect joints on every single piece of trim. Mason work on counter tops that is exceptional. Flawless attention to details, and I am exceptionally picky about details. but the crew... the heroes. You can trust them. They don't take your stuff, borrow your tools or disrespect your home. Every day they come on time, and every day they clean up after themselves. They take all the debris away daily and sweep up as they are leaving. They are careful, considerate and polite. John said "you'll see, you going to leave the house and feel comfortable leaving them there alone in no time", and he was right. Reviews are often faked, but this isn't one of those and I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is. I am an attorney in the State of Florida, and I have an ethical obligation to be truthful in what I say. It's something very important to me, so if you want to know if I'm being honest, look me up. Bar number 119926, call me and I will tell you how it is. I can't say your experience will be what mine was (and will be in the future) with John, but if history is a predictor of how your project will turn out, I suggest you call him today, right now, don't wait and don't bother calling around unless you're interested in wasting time.

Excellent work. I have been doing with K.C. Tile since 2009 when many tiles first popped up. Amazed with the great work done and since - several times; both to repair and restore. Very good accommodating your needs and wants - approachable and professional. I will only work with KC Tile.

The work was done in a timely and professional manner. It was a job that most flooring companies, probably, would not have taken. Anthony Iannone, the owner, spent 2 days doing the work. Mr. Iannones experience in the flooring business was evident as he was able to strip the concrete clean from the old adhesive (a very difficult task due to the type of glue used). It made for a successful floating floor installation. Dealing with Mr. was a pleasure.

Had the 2 tiles replaced and 1700 sq ft of grout recolored and sealed. Very nice job. There was a slight misunderstanding on other work to be done. They came back, did the work without any additional expense. They live by their word.

Excellent job! The work went exactly as promised, very high quality and professionally executed. By buying the flooring from an online seller and having Dave install it, I saved a lot of money compared to working with a flooring retail store, which uses its own installers.

This firm is on Angies List as a good vendor, but I beg to differ. The salesman/quote Jorge Rios came to my house to see my master shower tile floor. Water is beneath the tile and source unknown. He gives me a price of $500 to tear up tile floor and try to determine leak source, fix it and lay new tile I must buy. I have no extra original tile. I was told by Jorge they would be here Wednesday, he said I was wrong its Thursday at 9am. Well, no show. I called Jorge and he became rude and hung up on me. PLEASE, do not hire this firm. They sub contract jobs to people who dont come. I cannot believe they are even on Angies List due to their expertise is coloring tile grout and a few other Oh, we can do that! I will no longer look for qualified vendors on Angies List. This firm should be removed.

Our insurance company recommended this company, and we said we would use them. The man that came out to check out the issues and give an estimate seemed the consummate professional - very thorough and well spoken. I had high hopes. He said it would be a week or so before he had the estimate prepared. Less than a week later, we received notice that our insurance company had received his estimate and sent them a check to cover it (minus the deductible, of course). So, they received the full check in October. It's now January (3-1/2 months later) and we never heard from them again!!! Nothing. No contact whatsoever. Really? That's how they treat a potential customer (not to mention that this is how they treat a large insurance company that recommends them?)! Thank God that we never signed a contract with them -- they never even bothered to show up with one. My advice is AVOID working with this company. It's all smiles and warm feelings when they come out to do the estimate, but ZERO service after that.

All was done on time beautiful and everything was done in budget. I am very happy with my choice as he was not the lowest or highest bid but the one I felt comfortable with. He has his own team and does not contract out his work.
