We were confused about my Mom's weakness in her legs--so were all the doctors we consulted. DR Senzon did the appropriate workup and gave us the difficult news of ALS. Eveven though we weren't happy about the diagnosis he delivered it with compassion and understanding.

The counseling services offered here have been perfect for a person like me. Everyone in the office is always friendly, upbeat, and incredibly supportive. The groups are small enough where I can share how I am doing and not feel like I'm lost in the shuffle like at some of the other facilities I have been to. I truly feel like everyone here actually cares about how I am doing and what's been going on in my life. When you walk in the door you are greeted by all the staff and asked how you are doing.  This may seem like a small gesture but it's something that really goes a long way. The therapists have been a pivotal part of my recovery as well, they are always pushing me to challenge my way of thinking and showing me things about myself that I never knew. 10/10 experience and would recommend FCA to anyone who is looking for counseling services for whatever your issue may be!

It went so well. felt better after 7 treatments of RTMS    Made an appointment with a human being...very polite and understanding.
No waiting for Dr. DeLuca. She changed my medicines after giving me a
special blood test to see what medicines would or would not work on me. She recommend RTMS it worked great....after 7t reatments and the new medicine feel myself....again.

Bi polar disorder....Went in for severe depression. This is an unusual practice. There are 3 psychiastists...They seem to consult with each other on  patients. They don't give up. They will stick with you and go above and beyond to make sure you feel better. They do not accept any insurance...but it was worth paying the money because I feel well and it happened in a shorter time than usual. Sometimes my depression is so long and painful...I consider killing myself. When you get better fasterthat doesn't happen.
The staff was vey kind and understanding and friendly. The office was clean and showed that the doctors cared about their concern for the comfort of the patients. They offered me a drink...and a health bar. There was a very little wait...enough to fill out papers. They had a new machine I think it is call Deep TMS. They suggested that I try it, for the depression. It worked!  With the new medicines and the Deep Tms, I feel great!
I will definitely return if I need the Deep Tms and will continue going in for my follow up appointments.
Very good doctors....I don't think you will be dissapointed.
ps. the staff is wonderful also, caring, polite, professional

We're been going to Dr. Doran for several years and would highly recommend her. She spends time with her patients, addresses their concerns and we never feel rushed. We feel like she cares about her patients and has a good bedside manner. We've had to contacted her a few times after hours and she has also been available and very helpful. Although she doesn't accept insurance we think her care is well worth it and will continue to use her.

I called several weeks ago, and he was able to see me fairly quickly - it wasn't an emergency so it didn't matter. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. One of the first things he said was - we treat people, not diseases. Right off the bat, I liked him. He gave me the most thorough neuro exam I've had in years, and asked me a lot of questions. He was able to work with me, the medications I'm on and suggest future plans. I was very impressed and will see him again.

Fair. I liked the doctor but not the office. I waited over an hour in the waiting room and an additional 10 minutes in the examination room. Finally when I saw the doctor, it was for less than10 minutes.

Dr. Tendler is a good psychiatrist with valid things to say. His bedside manner, however, is a little lacking. Additionally, even though he was aware of the nature of why I had come to see him, we still continued to have hour-long ($$) sessions when all I was really asking for was shorter sessions to get my refills. I very much understand the need to establish a rapport with the physician prior to reaching the point of getting multiple scripts during one visit and limiting the need for monthly sessions, but we never seemed to be able to reach that.
The other issue I had with the practice overall was the billing/scheduling. I had made an appointment with the receptionist and was scheduled with the wrong doctor, and when I arrived for the appointment and was told that the other doctor would be ready in a few minutes, I advised them of the mistake but was still billed for the hour!
Overall Advanced Mental Health is a very nice practice---clean, modern, inviting. But just know that it's not an individual doctor, it's a big practice and you may not get the same kind of experience that you would with an individual doctor that doesn't have accountability to the practice owner.

I went through a depression and for the 1st year afterwards Dr. Motriam was fine. I was feeling good and was in and out of her office for meds. It's when I felt that I was sliding backward that she became absoutely uselss.  When I reached out for help if was though she couldn't get me out of her office fast enough.  Here I admitted that I wasn't feeling good and she did nothing. She told me we would revisit it the next time and out I went. I was in shock and cried in the car.  A few monts prior I asked if I could come every 6 months, instead of every 3,  and she told me no because depression people kill themselves .... a few months later when I told her I wasn't feeling well she did nothing. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt .. maybe she was just having a bad day happend the next two times ... three strikes and you're out. I realzied that when you're feeling good and just needs meds .. she is fine .. if you need anything further .. next patient please. As the other reviews stated .. the visit are very short  3-4 minutes (as the most).  She sits at a desk and the patient sits in a chair in front of her desk.. don't get too comfty .. you wouldn't be sitting long... and yes she will be writing your script before you even sit down.

He has very flexible hours. He's a very good person and he makes us both feel very comfortable. It's a very casual, relaxing environment.
He even gives us homework and it works great. He offers very practical solutions.
