    We don't take Comcast here because it comes in lousy. We used it in Massachusetts and it was fine. They have a lousy customer service reputation. In a different state their service was fair. The thing is, if you lose your electricity you don't get anything. You can lose up to three weeks and they don't give you any kind of a discount.

    I’m stuck with them. If there was another option other than satellite, I guess I would do it. Part of our maintenance in our community includes basic cable. Even if there was another one out there, it probably wouldn’t make sense to me. The price is ridiculously high. You get a different story every time you call them. Sometimes it takes a couple of times to get somebody who knows what they’re doing.

    I didn't like one thing. The customer service was awful. When they finally made it here, the work turned out okay. I am using them because I have no other option right now, and if I can stop using them, I will.

    I have had great customer service, and also horrible people out here. I have had terrible service. My mother has used them for along time. We are stuck with Comcast because where my mother lives, we cannot put an antennae on the roof.

    We called Comcast, they ran some basic test from their end and determined that the line to the house might be broken or shorted.  They set up an appointment time to out liking for a tech person to come out.  The tech person showed up right on time and corrected the problem,  Best of all there was no charges

    The installers were new and had to call the company a few times. They were extremely nice and friendly. Comcast did not tell me there would be an $80 charge to come to the house and install service. I called and was never called back. I think it is unfair that they charge you to put service in when you will be paying dearly to have it.

    They are the worst company in this country. We bought a new TV and decided to go with their DVR. We got the DVR and they gave us a remote that didn't go with the DVR. I had to go all the way up to Palm Beach Gardens to replace the remote that they gave me. I asked them to have somebody drop the remote off, but they said it will be a service call although it was they who sent the wrong remote. Then the box lasted for may be a week and we started having problems. I called them up and they said that they can have a service call come out in three days and that's the soonest they can send somebody out. I can get it sooner if I took the box back to Palm Beach Gardens. I drove up to there and brought back another box. I put it in and it ran may be for two weeks and then that stopped working. Over a period of several months, we went through 4 to 5 boxes and they just kept failing. I finally said I've had it and returned the box and got a TiVO. We had the service man come out to get the TiVO to work, but we didn't have on demand although we were supposed to get it. They said I have a TiVO box, you don't get on-demand although we were paying for it. We live in a development that has a master contract with Comcast for the cable, so we have to pay for the extended basic service to our homeowners association. We thought we were getting a discount, but we pay the highest rate for extended basic probably in the state of Florida and there is nothing we can do because the homeowners association had signed a contract for 30 years. If we call them for anything, they say we will send somebody out in four days. If I say what would we do for 4 days? they say that's the best we can do. They are a terrible company and I hate them.

    I have noise on my phone. When I bought the service they told me it was a land line and it's not. When the computer goes out and the modem goes out so does the telephone. They screwed up the other company lines and whenever I'm talking to somebody I ended up with static at least a couple of times weekly. They are good about coming when they give you the window that they advertise on television, but a lot of times they can't fix the problem and say that you don't really have a problem. I pay a small fortune considering my homeowner dues we get cable for free, but in addition to that I'm paying $168 a month and the service is supposed to be worth another $60. For some reason it supposed to be an extra $94, but it rounded up being $168. Some of the cost is mine because I added a few extras, but it's always $40 or $50 that you can't quite explain. If you find something different and call them up they usually take care of the bill, but it's a job to do it. If the homeowners association asked for a vote to try something new I would say yes. Once you can get them on the phone you might be able to get somebody, but even getting them on the phone is often a challenge. It will ring for a half hour before you can get a hold of them, but then you can be on hold for another half hour. Some of the guys are very good and some of them are very bad, but it all depends on who they send.

    Pricing and quality overall were pretty good. However, I have a dismay with them because everytime the TV and internet goes down and you will call them, they really can't help you and I get poor answers from them.
