We contacted them & spoke to Katie & Doug (owners) to schedule an appointment to share our vision, review our project and visit their showroom during our next visit to FL in 1 week. We only had 1 day (Saturday) for both & they accommodated us. First we met with Doug to review the project and our goals. This was followed by a visit to their showroom (complete with nice selection of materials) to consult with Katie. Both listened to our needs & after spending the day with them we immediately had confidence in their business, skill, & experience. Having been through several remodels previously, this was the very first time we found a perfect fit the first time around. We walked out of their showroom with a contract in hand, materials selected & a targeted start date for our project. With the first major milestone behind house, we had only one concern. Being a coast away, we were wary how to ensure our project was being executed to plan, both in quality and efficiency. In retrospect, we are pleased to inform you this was never an issue. The demolition phase was as expected. Katie & Doug remained in constant communication throughout the process; Skyping & photosharing & highlighting any issues and working together with us to find acceptable solutions. Overall there were no major issues, rather the typical findings of renovating a space more than 30 years old. Our project scope was a complete redo from the ground up. Next phase was the installation, everything from new plumbing, flooring (porcelain tile), shower (porcelain tile/quartz), wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, eletrical/lighting (canned lighting, light fixtures, and lit medicine cabinets), etc. The installation is where the attention to detail matters most. We were absolutely impressed with their meticulous workmanship & strong attention to detail throughout the remodel. As the project completed, Katie & Doug performed a quality control check of their work to ensure it met their high standards & our expectations as the customer. We did a walk through together to ensure nothing was missed. All punch list items (all minor) where promptly addressed to our extreme satisfaction. Being able to complete a major renovation on time & to budget & remotely is a huge achievement. Thank you Custom Design Kitchen & Bath, Doug, Katie, & Crew! We love our new home! Custom Design Kitchen & Bath, is a family owned business who take great pride in their work as illustrated by the their professionalism, courteous approach, strong attention to detail & customer service. We are absolutely tickled to have met Katie & Doug and their entire crew & look forward to doing business with them again (next project is already in the queue). We highly recommend them for your bathroom & kitchen remodeling needs. Please reach out should you have any questions regarding our experience.

    E&I Electrical Services
Great!! John & Josh arrived on time, were very professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable and cleaned up after they finished the job. I got a special of $119 ( normally $249) with Angie's list. Great price for a job well done. This was our first time using this company and because they did such a great job they made a new customer. We will definitely use them for all our electrical jobs in the future

If you read above you'd say that i what a good electrician should do. But are all electricians like this? When I talked with Bill he told me that if I got the material that I needed myself it would save me about  $75.00. He gave me the list and picked up what was required at Lowe's. All in all a positive task completed.

came and gave estimate. my wife and i decided to let him do the work, wile working on one of the connections there was a wire that they did not know what is was for and asked if he could cut it and deal with it later. I agreed to having it cut. on another connection they screwed up a light fixture and told me i would have to buy a new one. they came back the next day to reconnect the door bell wire that they had cut and to reconnect the light fixture that i had to buy. when they were done they gave me a bill for over $400 more than the high end of their estimate. they claimed that there were more outlets than they thought, also charged me to reconnect the door bell wire that he cut and charged extra to reconnect the light fixture which he broke in the first place. when i confronted him about the added charges his answer was to deduct $25. off the bill    I would never use his services again.Period . in his response he stated that the fixture looked to be the original one in fact it was only two years old and worked fine until he put his paws on it his response to the doorbell was he told me he did not know what the wire was that he cut .said we would find out later. after figuring out it was the doorbell wire he cut he said it would be 175.00 to rewire it. and no he never, never offered to install a wireless doorbell at no charge. Big LIAR!!!!

    Seggie Custom Builders LLC
Started project in the middle of October.  House livable in beginning of December.  Used sub-contractor for some electrical, some plumbing, counter tops and plaster work.  Most else was performed by his own employees.  He spent a great amount of time with me to pick out cabinets, counter tops, flooring, back splash.  There was a problem with a crack developing in the ceiling and this was taken care of promptly.

I would certainly use this company again.  Very reputable.  Did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. Gave me some very good suggestions.

    Seggie Custom Builders LLC
Seggie Custom Builders is terrific.  We had this project started when we first purchased this house and were still living across country.  John really looked after us as there were roof problems and leaks when we were in the West.  He had those problems repaired and called and sent pictures of each step.  All of the work done inside the house, both anticipated and unanticipated, was beautifully and very carefully done with a real eye toward excellence and to our satisfaction.  Our guest bathroom did not have a shower, just a very old Jacuzzi type tub, and they pulled that out and hand built a wonderful stall shower with seat. They also remodeled part of the bathroom that had a second sink to be a beautiful storage area...removing the sink, adding shelves and bi-fold doors.

The master bath was a tiny square back in a corner between the garage and the bedroom with an exterior door right next to it.  The exterior door was closed up, the shower extended and rebuilt and tiled, with a seat and bars to ADA standards, without looking institutional. This house is 30 plus years old and many of the finishes were very dated and not to our taste, although well done in the manner of the day.  The features we kept were matched by Seggie Builders both in style and color.  They were very detail oriented.  All of the wall plates in the house were changed to match each other, update the look and be easier to use.  We coordinated with John, or he with us, so we could pick out fixtures and/or tile where we were in Nevada and he could find it in Florida.  His craftsmen were prompt, worked hard, and cleaned up after themselves daily.

The only place we got hung up a little was when we chose the vanities, the salesman where we were wrote all the pieces and parts down on an order slip and we emailed them to John.  He thought we'd ordered them, and we thought he one's fault, just a glitch.  The work was painstaking some of the time, and the company had other jobs as well, so next time we'd plan on things taking a bit was definitely worth the wait!  Seggie Builders is a fine company, with fine workers..............and we would hire them again in a minute.  They were very honest and caring people, and we always felt good about having them in our home.  We also feel that we have new friendly acquaintances, not just builders.

I don't think you could find a better building or remodeling company, and we really appreciate Angies List for pointing us in their direction.

    Team Farrell
We called Farrell Home Services to obtain an estimate to remove a
window from our kitchen, move the sink, raise the ceiling, install recessed
lighting and a solar light.  In addition, install new flooring, cabinets
    and granite counter tops.
Regan promptly gave us an estimate and we worked out a reasonable price. Regan stated the job would be completed in 3 weeks.  We explained to Regan that we contracted someone last year to install a pool and it took 2 months longer than estimated.  Regan promised the job would be done on time.
We went to the showroom at Farrell and picked out the cabinets and counter top materials.  We also went to the flooring distributor to pick out the flooring and backsplash choices.  All the people we dealt with were professional and very helpful.
The renovation started on July 17th promptly at 8am.  They put up plastic to minimize the dust and also brought an air filtering machine. Each day they would update us to explain the next process.   The sub contractors for the plumbing &
electrical work were very accommodating and would also recommend them.  The person we dealt with most was Steve
Farrell.  He was friendly but professional.  A very nice touch at the end of the project was a cleaning person to clean our house from all the dust, etc.  The work was done on time and the end result is amazing !
This company has impressed us and plan to tell our friends to give them a call for any project.
Thanks to all the people who made this a nice experience compared to our last project!
