    Columbus Worthington Air
Arrived on time and completed replacement in the time estimated. Cleaned up after installation and departed my premise in the same condition as when they arrived. Three weeks of operation and not a single problem!

    Super Heat and Air, LLC
The techs name was Mark. He was very informative and professional. He explained everything he was doing and answered all my questions. Mark added 4 lbs of Freon to fix my problem. He even called me the next day to see if everything was working fine. I would definitely call Super Heat & Air again.

    CLARKES CUSTOM AIR INC
The service tech's are courteous, but the Office manager/receptionist is so rude and nasty, that I will never use this company again. For the warranty to be valid must be serviced once a year. I must have it serviced every couple of months, with no price reduction. When I called, the receptionist and told her I couldn't afford to have it fixed so often, and occasionally let it go for a couple of weeks, she asked me what changed now?

    Choice Home Warranty
They sent out a repair company, the repair company was telling them they needed to replace the air handler system, when all that was wrong was the blower motor went bad, Choice Home Warranty refused to pay saying it was due to our neglect, ( which was not True). Choice Home Warranty said if I did not like there decision I could hire another Contractor to look at it, and I needed to give them the contractors opinion, which I did, the New contractor said the Motor  was bad and it would cost $550.00 to replace and they did not see the problem as neglect on our part. I sent the paperwork to Choice Home Warranty and they have still refused to pay the repair bill, I have made countless attempts to resolve this issue with no success.

Snowbird Heating & Cooling Management, Inc
They came out on Wednesday, diagnosed the problem and were back on the following Monday and made the repair. The two fellows that came out were very friendly and answered all questions that we had. Will definately call them again.

Everything they said they would do, they did. The job was completed on time. The workmen were as neat as they could possibly be in installing my new air conditioner and having to crawl around up in the attic and do all that and I do not have a very large attic at all, nobody in Florida does unless you have an older home. Attics here are mostly crawl spaces. Those poor guys had to get up there and do that duct work and put the air handler in up there. I do not know how they did it and they did mine in the summer.

You can get a maintenance agreement where you will get parts that would no longer be covered by warranty within five years of your purchase of the agreement, not your purchase of the unit because I already have the unit for three years. It gives me parts that are no longer covered if they break or something happens and they have to be replaced. I do not have to pay for it. They will also come out to do the annual cleaning. They handle Amana brand. The cost is $500 for five years. I think $100 a year is reasonable. They were on time.

Springer Brothers Air Conditioning & Heating
I was disappointed after reading so many favorable reviews about Springer Brothers. They charged $141 to clear a partially clogged drain line, an outrageous price for what amounted to ten minutes' work. Two things troubled me even more. One is the way the technician accessed our back yard. The yard is accessed through a gate that is secured with a padlock the padlock isn't locked, but keeps the gate from being pushed open. Rather than ask for backyard access (or, simply going through the back door of the house, since he was already there), the technician went to the effort of reaching through the gate and removing the padlock, then going into the yard without my knowledge. A contractor should never access any part of a homeowner's property without their knowledge and permission. I can't help wondering why the technician felt the need to be so secretive. That led to my second concern. After sneaking into our backyard, the technician started breathlessly listing all the problems with our system. He showed me a series of numbers that, according to him, seemed to prove that the world was ending. But when I asked for an explanation of what these numbers meant, I didn't get much. The problems seemed to boil down to: it's low in refrigerant, there MIGHT be a refrigerant leak, and there were some areas where the duct work in the attic needed to be resealed. He vaguely mentioned the possibility of recharging the refrigerant and doing a leak check, but showed no interest in actually doing these things. He left me with the impression that Springer Brothers would only work with us if we decided to purchase an entirely new system. I repeatedly made it clear that we can't afford that at the present time, but he wasn't interested. (Considering their fee for the 10-minute effort of clearing the drain line, I can't imagine how much they would overcharge for that, anyway.) I had to sign a receipt stating that the system was cooling the house. At the time it wasn't, and the technician acknowledged that verbally. The receipt also stated that we declined a leak check and having the system recharged in fact, those options were not seriously offered, because the technician was so insistent that we buy a whole new system. I asked for a quote for recharging the coolant, which the tech quickly glossed over because of his apparent disinterest. The end result is that we've called someone else to evaluate our system, and when we are able to afford a new system, Springer Brothers won't get our business.

Top Notch Air Conditioning & Heating Inc
Called company Tuesday, provider arrived at time convenient for me (evening after work).
Tthen, provider returned the following day and repaired damage and refueled unit with freon.
It is a large unit, most of cost was for freon.

Top Notch Air Conditioning & Heating Inc
We called Top Notch on Thursday, and by Friday afternoon, we had a new system cooling the house.  They started early and took out the old equipment, and by early afternoon we were starting to cool off!  Unfortunately this all happened on probably the hottest day of the year so far.
They were very professional, came when they said they would, told us the schedule they were working with in getting the new unit, and everything happened on time.  Everyone was really nice, very professional and great to work with.
I've read reports of companies leaving a mess, not Top Notch.  When I got home from work, I could not even tell they were at our home...except that it was cool again!  They took the time to call us that evening to see if we were "cool", and followed up again a few days after.  Not many companies bother to do that!
I would highly recommend Top Notch to anyone having an air conditioning problem.  I would give them an A+.
