    Spring Clean
Colin did an excellent job -- He cleaned not only our light gray wall-to-wall carpet, but also some large area rugs and smaller ones, including three Orientals. He was professional in manner and focused on what he was doing. Next year we will definitely call on Spring Clean again.

    Stanley Steemer
I had gone to their computer site and filled out the many questions that asked about my rugs. The price came to approx. $255.00. I thought that was alot of money! I contacted a customer service person via phone and discussed the job. The lady said that that price of $255.00 was indeed correct. We went over each item step by step. I asked her if this was the firm price with no further surprises and she said, "yes, it was." I should have gotten a written statement but thought this way Stanley Steemer's way of now ordering services. So, I told her to send the carpet cleaners out on the desired date. I prepared the areas by moving items and clutter. When they got here the two young men did a walkthru and lifted up one of the area rugs and read the label stating they were wool. Then, they said wool would be extra, and the total would be $519.00! Firm. BTW, The young men told me to "never use the online form or to call corporate" ( a 1-800 number ). I never knew Stanley Steemer was a franchise. But, it is. The men said they will reveal the 'real price' and they gave me their card. I assured them that they were not expensive wool rugs, they said it didn't matter. They claimed to have used a different spray on the wool ones. (No one asked me about wool vs. synthetic carpet when I did the online form or via phone call.) Then they said that price included deordorizer (which I had not signed up for -apparently. ) I hesitated but really wanted the job to get done, so I said, to go ahead. I knew I was being rpped off. They missed alot of spots mostly in the master bedroom. To their defense, our house is naturally dark in the master bedroom. They didn't or could not get many of the pet stains up. That was it. A day later, I called the corporate office and told them about my experience. I felt blantantly ripped off. No senior citizens discount, no deals, no wiggle room. I was sized up and taken advantage of. In retrospect, I should not have allowed them to do the job. A few days later, I received a call from the office stating they would return to do the missed spots, but I declined. Ill never use them again.

    Sunshine Carpet Cleaning
Im sorry to have to write this review, but I feel it will help keep a proper balance on reviews. I hired Sunshine to clean my carpets last week, the first time I used them. The tech was professional and polite, and I thought all was well until the next day when the carpets were dry. They felt rough to my hand, and when I tried to vacuum, I couldnt push my vacuum over the carpetsit felt as if there was something gritty that had built up. This is the first time I have ever had this in years of having carpets cleaned professionally. I called Sunshine to explain; they were very sorry and sent the owner out the next day. He said he had another call exactly like mine just a day ago with the same issue. He re-cleaned those carpets and that customer was now happy. He also explained that in both instances, the same new tech had done the cleaning and perhaps he was using the wrong mix of cleaning materials, applying too much so that there was a lot of residue left. He re-cleaned all the carpets. I also questioned the charge for the day before (which I questioned the tech about on the day of cleaning because it was extremely high) and the owner reviewed the charges. He found that the original tech had overbilled me for twice the cost it should have been. He did immediately credit me for the overbilling. The next day, the carpets were better, but still not right, as I still couldnt vacuum the highest pile rug. Sunshine called me to see if everything was corrected, and I said sadly it wasnt. They offered to come again to remedy because they wanted me to be a happy customer, but I declined. In addition to the carpet issue, there were numerous grease-like stains on my tile floors around the areas where their hoses had been dragged, and I had to scrub them off. So I was reluctant to have them come again when 2 attempts failed. In all communications, Sunshine was very nice and professional and wanted to correct the problem, but I had lost confidence in them in all others areas. As far as cleaning goes, the grade has to be an F because it was a big failure.

After a good experience with Crystal in my condo, I hired them to clean carpets on a set of stairs and a small room with wall-to-wall carpeting in a house for a relative just after moving in, so the carpets were very dirty. The areas that needed cleaning were very small and I understood I would be charged a minimum charge, and that was okay with me. The tech who arrived did a fantastic job, and he felt bad that there wasn't more to clean to justify the minimum charge, so he noticed an area rug and asked if he could clean that too! Very much exceeded expectations and I will hire them again.

    Champion Chem-Dry
I like them because they don't get the carpet really wet when I get the house cleaned. They don't vacuum though. There was a guy who used to vacuum before he cleaned and he used chemical instead of getting it wet but he retired I really miss him because he was excellent. I use Chem-Dry now, they aren't too bad. I found them out of a flyer they had for a special. I only had them do the walk area. The chemicals they use on the carpet dries in a couple of hours. I would recommend them.

    Un-Beelievably Clean Inc
The team showed up promptly at 9 A.M., as scheduled. They were friendly, fast and efficient. I had six rooms in total that needed to be cleaned. One guy treated spots and moved furniture, while the second guy actually did the cleaning. They were done in about half the time I expected. They walked me through the house, and it looked fantastic! All the spots were gone, and the carpet looked refreshed and clean. It took about 4 hours to dry completely, which is what they estimated.

The crew was fantastic. They moved furniture and placed spacers under the moved furniture to allow the carpet to dry. They meticulously cleaned up the water off the hardwood floors as they left. We had spots on the master bedroom carpet and it appears the spots came out. We are very happy with Steamboat and would hire them again.

    Enviro-Tech Carpet Cleaning
His original quote was reasonable, when he arrived he said my apartment was smaller than he thought and he knocked a percentage off. After the work was done, I was more than happy with the results. My carpet looked brand new and stayed that way for many months after. He truly cares about his reputation and the work he does. He will go out of his way to ensure you are happy with the work!

    Haley's Comet Carpet Cleaning
HUGE disappointment. My appt. was for 11 am. I called at 11:35 and was rudely told that there is a give-or-take 30 minutes because some run appointments run over or under. Made sense.
Before they arrived, I vacuumed the rugs 2x each and moved all of the dining room chairs.
They didn't show up until 12:45. I was told that he was running late because his doctor's appt. ran late.
I think they were trying to make up the lost time on my rugs. In and out. Wet rugs, wet tile. He cleaned up some of the wet tile and I did the rest. I couldn't see or smell any difference (pets) and thought maybe it was because the rugs were still wet. All dry today and there is no difference in the appearance of the rugs; we can still smell pet odors and one carpet actually looks streaked from the machine.
Maybe this was just a bad day for them but I would not hire them again nor can I recommend them.

Very polite professional and personable; answered any questions I had.  The cleaning was done quickly but thoroughly and I would not only recommend them but certainly plan to use them again!
