  • Unit was low on refrigerant so was not cooling.  unit had a leak & needed a new filter dryer.  It was a holiday weekend, Labor Day, so Jon (owner) got the unit working & promised to return Monday to replace defective part because he didn't have one & it was 8pm.  He arrived on Monday (the holiday) replaced the part, cleaned the entire unit, installed a UV light to prevent mold, & checked that the system was working properly.
    Jon Constanzer ( owner ) is a fine young man, honest & reliable.  We feel fortunate to have found a serviceman of such high caliber & trustworthiness.  We could not be more pleased with the service provided & would not hesitate to recommend him & his company to anyone needing HVAC service.

  • Home inspection indicated minors issues.  Based on this report, we felt confident to purchase home - that there would be no major issues.  2 Days after purchase/closing we found significant problems evidence of ceiling leaks to air conditioning and window gaps that were not found during inspection.  Though, on their report they indicated that they inspected these items and found nothing wrong. We sent photo evidence to SWF.  After asking SWF for a refund because the items found were significant in cost to repair, they denied refund stating that the problems were not present during inspection.   They stated that other s should have seen the problems - than why hire an expert??  We would not recommend this company since they take no responsibility for their services.

  • THE CONSULTATION
    I spoke with Roy a couple times on the phone. The first time I explained to him I had 4 dogs, 4 cats, 3 birds and 3 people in the house who had smoked at one time or another over the last 4 years.
    All of my pets are potty trained, but explained that on humid days when the a/c wasn't running, there would be a urine or kennel-type smell coming from the living area. I had Armstrong floors put down two years ago our puppy piddled on it and we didn't catch it right away. One year ago, I had the whole floor torn up and those planks replaced, but once and awhile still... this smell would linger around that I couldn't locate.
    I asked if he could help and he said he would come out personally to do the job.

    On the second call I inquired how many coupons to buy since one only covered 300 sq ft He said buy 2 and when I get there I'll give you the deal if you need one more. I bought them.
    THE APPOINTMENT
    On the day of our scheduled appointment (9 a.m. Oct. 3) he called and asked if I had fans because he forgot his and it would be more like 10-10:30 until he arrived
    THIS IS IMPORTANT
    Maybe I totally have this wrong, but when he got to my home he said I needed another coupon, so I bought one. He set up two machines. I thought I already bought two, and he said I only bought time.
    When he got to my home he informed me the main machine is set up theough the a/c system so the whole house gets done. Each of them has a timer of 3 or 6 hours. I had just upgraded to 6 hours with my additional $69. Then he said, and quot;With the second machine.and quot;
    SO. When you are getting a PATI cleaning a and quot;techand quot; comes in your home points a machine toward your a/c return plugs it in and turns it on. THEN IT DOES YOUR WHOLE HOUSE. I don't know what this 300 sq ft is all about. I reminded him twice, the stinky room is the living room, so if it mattered I would think something would have been pointed at that floor. Nothing was.
    THE END
    Six hours of work would make the return 4:45p.m. (15 min for set up)
    I scheduled PATI more than a month in advance for my pets advantage. (9-3) Without my knowledge, the groomer closed at 4 p.m. which I did not know. (I was charged an extra $35) because Roy showed up at 10:30.

    When I got home and Roy was packed up and gone. He had let my and quot;brotherand quot; in without ever meeting him, packed his machines and left without waiting to talk to me. I got home at 4:53 p.m. I spoke with him after and explained how that was unacceptable, he said, and quot;My brother sat in the driveway for 45 minutes.and quot;
    A Stranger could Sit in your Driveway for 45 Minutes, call the number Roy leaves on the door and Roy would let him in. That is what I told Roy. He said it didn't matter, the door was unlocked anyway.

  • My parents are elderly and from Cleveland OH. They purchased a short sale in North Port FL that was not lived in for at least a year. During our pre-purchase inspection there was some mold found in the duct work. We wanted the home remedied before we moved all of their belongings to Florida. We found American Cleaning & Restoration through Angies List and Tom & Becky were great to work with. They explained the whole process to us and why it was better to use their cleaning method compared to others. We were especially concerned since we were not going to be at the home during the this time. We had neighbors check in with them as well as an independent HVAC company and they all said that ACR did a wonderful job. We were really pleased, especially since it was 1/4 the price of other companies.
