Beyond excellent. Floor replacement was done at two intervals, three rooms at a time. They are beautiful. We had too much glass open to the patio, TFL took out existing glass doors and constructed a wall which was then stuccoed to match house. You can't tell that it isn't an original part of the house. The house painting, most recent job, was beyond excellent. For all the work, there was excellent preparation and execution. Clean up was superb, all areas after each job were left spotless. We have had Tom and his crew back over and over and would hire them for any job. The price is fair and consistent with the market. The quality of the work, however, is priceless.

    PSI Construction
He is a thief. He not only taken our money and left an unfinished house, but today he sent us an email saying that he is too stressed out to work, or answer the phone. This, is after many, many empty promises, and actually, lies. Fearing the worst, we made some calls, went places, and found out that he not only ripped us off, but ripped off the people that he subcontracted. Basically, didn't pay them. But it still doesn't end there. He forged companies' names on permits. He claimed that certain companies did the work, while they didn't. The plumbing company who's name is on the permit wasn't the company that worked at the site. Neither was the roofing company. These companies did work for him previously, and they didn't get paid by him for previous work. So whoever Mr. Bersch hired to do the work, he forged other companies' names on the building permits If you are someone thinking of building a home, stay away from this guy. And if you are a company that he stiffed, contact me at, and I will try to recover your losses by suing the bastard

    Masterpiece Custom Homes
Nick and Anne the owners of Masterpiece Custom Homes were terrific throughout the entire process of building our house. Anne had great design ideas to make it special and Nick and his team made her ideas come to life.

Everything thing they said the would do they did and on time and on budget.

I would recommend Masterpiece to anybody looking for a builder.

Back in February of 2015 I met with Eric Krauth, the owner of Krauth Construction Company and he was a pleasure to deal with right from the beginning. After calling him, he came to my home the next day already, which I thought was very good, because here in Venice, FL it was the season with all the snowbirds down here. Yet he made time for me in his busy schedule. I had read about him online and saw many good reviews and one of my neighbors recommended his company to me also because they just had their kitchen completely remodeled and it looked awesome!
He really listened to all my needs and my ideas and he asked me a lot of questions. Then he offered his own ideas and suggestions and together we came up with a perfect plan for my master bathroom. He took the measurements and a few days later came back to show me samples of tiles and brochures of shower doors, fixtures and also of super nice jaccuzzi bathtub because the one I had didn't have the jets and was made out of that ugly plastic type of material.
Eric was very helpful to me when it came to choosing all the materials, which is not easy to do with so many choices but you could tell that because of his experience and eye for design, he knew exactly what I would like. I told him I wanted my master bath to be an oasis, and I wanted aqua blue glass tiles with off-white floor tiles and for my walk-in shower I wanted frameless glass doors.
Within a few weeks his construction crew came to my house and they were all very courteous and pleasant people to have around, so I felt comfortable with them. Important because I live alone.
The job required a lot of demolition work, but somehow they kept my house dust free and clean. Thank you for that!!!
The entire job took several days of course, because you have to let the mortar dry and the grout, etc. and they installed my brand new jaccuzzi soaking tub, made of white fiberglass (I think). Awesome!!!
The end result was stunning to say the least. I can't thank Eric and his crew enough for doing such an awesome job. My master bathroom is now my favorite room in the house. It has that spa feeling that I was hoping for. I couldn't be happier.
Thanks Eric, you made my dream bathroom a reality. I highly recommend your services.

We looked at many contractors before hiring Eric Krauth.  He had previously done work in our neighborhood and we went and looked at the addition he constructed on that house.  That reference spoke very highly of him and that was a much more complicated job than what we needed done.
We signed the contract and Eric started and completed the project right on time.  He handled the architectural drawings, the county permits, everything.  Although he had crews working for him - he always stopped by to review everything and make sure each part was completed correctly.  We were always able to reach him if we had a question and he was quick to respond.
We've hired many contractors over the years - but he was the first contractor we used in Florida and I would not hesitate to use him again.  In fact, I'm sure we will use him to do some interior remodeling next year.
We could not be happier with the way the completed room turned out.

Eric, his staff and subcontractors were prompt, efficient and courteous.

We were advised of a reasonable time line to get the job permitted and order the door prior to commencement.

The timing was done as promised and they even started the project a week early for

us. They told us two weeks to complete and they delivered.

The job turned out exactly as anticipated and it looks like it was part of the existing home and not just an "add on".

I should add that I was referred to Krauth Construction from a friend who had an even larger project done by them to their complete satisfaction.

    I would highly recommend them

    New Century Builders
We had purchased a home for one of my sons, and it was a fixer-upper. We did have a budget, so each service provider that we spoke with we informed of the strict budget. I asked for a final price from each service provider as well as informed them of the deadlines and discussed all of the things that needed to be taken care of before we signed any contract. We hired Aaron and he was supposed to be done with the jobs by November 13th, 2009. Aaron was given a specific list of things to do, and was told that he was not to add anything to the job list - even if my son had said something because we were the owners of the home. My son was watching the work of Aaron for us, so we wanted no confusion.
My husband and I went to Florida while the home was being fixed. Aaron was to call either my husband or I if there were any problems. We had agreed to send Aaron checks throughout the entire project. The November 13th date came and went, and Aaron was not finished. The November 13th deadline was set in place because that is when our furniture was going to arrive. Sure enough, Aaron had knocked down walls without calling us and getting permission. My son called me and informed me that the job was still going on in December and told me that not one room in the house was finished. I called Aaron and I told him that he had one week to make the house liveable. He had already gone two thousand dollars over budget. My son stopped by the house every single day that week to see who was there and what was getting done. Aaron had told me that he would have a team of four guys working all day everyday. My son stopped two times a day between his two jobs, and he said that most of the time - the workers were gone by 2:30pm. My son noticed that Aaron's tools slowly started disappearing from the job. Aaron was also throwing out all of the discarded items into our backyard.
Aaron called me at the end of the week and asked for an extension, I told him that that was not acceptable. I had my son remove the spare key that we had in a lockbox so that Aaron could no longer get into the house. Aaron then billed me for an additional $9,000.
My husband and I went into the house
This company not only did not finish the job, they made the home worse than how it was when we had bought it. They did not install the sheet rock correctly in our closets so we were unable to open the closets. They installed a veneer to hide the wall that he had messed up, and the veneer did not even line up.
During the week extension - I learned that one of the days that my son was trying to speak with Aaron, he could not get ahold of him. My son asked the workers where Aaron was, and they informed him that he was in Cancun with his family on vacation.
It took my son the next four months to finish the house for us, spending any extra time he could manage between his two jobs.
I refused to pay Aaron for the $9,000 bill for the week extension and he threatened to sue me and place a lean on the house. We then began a counter suit. The lawsuit went on for about a month or two, and we got a call that Aaron had dropped the lawsuit. He packed up his family and moved to South Carolina because he had supposedly been offered a job there. I have recently learned that he has returned to the New York area and began working under the same name.
The bottomline is that he did not honor the quote that he gave me, he did not meet the deadline that he agreed to, and he did not check up on his team of men. I would not recommend this company to anyone under any circumstance.

I was looking into a new build home but when I asked a couple of questions for pricing via email I never heard back. The model home looks amazing and top notch but they wanted all the money up front.
