    Transformers Building & Remodeling LLC
This went fantastic! We live in another country but, worked with Nick deciding on a paint color. Nick has such a keen eye for color which made it easier and more confident in our decision. To aid in this Nick painted strips of color choices complete with out existing pool cage color and trim color so we could better conceptualize the color as well as front door. Nicks paint contractor, Juan, has worked with Nick for years as well as on our other remodeling that Nick did. To say that Juan is meticulous is an understatement. Not only is he kind and thoughtful he is a fantastic painter. Takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows. Cant recommend Nick and his team enough, so much so that we are in the process of finalizing an addition to our home with them.

    Five Star Painting of Sarasota
Fabulous experience with Five Star Painting. They are punctual, professional, courteous and they have integrity. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. I have already recommended them to my friends and I would definitely use their services again. Do not hesitate as they do a marvelous job at a reasonable price.

    Adams Painting of SWFL
Adams Painting is subcontracted to the Villa Le Grand Owners Association, Inc. to paint the exterior of 73 housing unit. Our unit has six (6) Italian Cypress trees in a bed bordering our unit. The trees were not covered (photo available) during an extensive pressure washing, spray stripping/sealing and painting procedure which has killed or damaged all six trees. The young trees were planted in June 2018 - the painting procedure occurred in February 2019. The trees began dying within two weeks of the painting. Adams Painting's owner/president, Adam Gillick, 1503 Pine Prairie Rd, Sarasota, FL 34240 (941) 377-0263 has been asked to pay to replace the trees his painting crew killed or damaged. To date, Mr. Gillick has denied culpability despite the photographic evidence.

CertaPro Painters of Central SW Florida
They did a great job! Arrived each day on time, were very clean and careful... and finished the job in less than the estimated time. I was very nervous about having our whole place done at once, but Tony and his crew were wonderful. It was the easiest work I ever had done.

    Desantis Painting & Pressure Washing
10/14/13 - contracted DeSantis to paint driveway - exterior of my home - pool deck - interior painting including patching and painting kitchen ceiling. Four years later after a very long "Legal Litigation". I can finally write this long overdue review. Within a year the old paint on driveway (terra cotta) showing through new paint (gray). A Representative from Tuf-Top Coating Company - inspection concluded that there was peeling paint, slippery surface, coating appeared thin, could not conclude if non-skid additive was used. Pool deck, same inspector. peeling paint. Conclusion: Senior Chemists at "Tuf -Top Coating company agreed with the finding of the field inspector. It appears that only one coat was applied to the driveway and their product requires two coats. The pool deck was not properly power washed and allowed to dry for 24 hours before painting. The north side of the exterior wall of the house, which was gray, starting showing white patches because of peeling paint. Eventually there were white patches every where. DeSantis and a representive from Sherwin -Williams said it had something to do with a wheelbarrow's wooden handles or plastic container with year waste up against the wall. Really, the paint was peeling all the way to the gutters. The final analysis, that side of the house had not been properly power washed. I did file a complaint with the Sherman William Head office about that representative parroting Mr.DeSantis conclusion. The kitchen ceiling, within one year, starting showing signs of cracking and ended up with strips of painted ceiling pulling away and hanging down. Disgusting, I lived with this mess for two years. Thank you to Eric's Painting and Decorating, Venice. The drive way is the correct color and not slippery, the pool deck is also not slippery and the paint looks great, the kitchen ceiling is clean and the exterior wall no longer has white patches. A great job guys. A word to the wise, do your home work when hiring contractors and then dig a little deeper. Its worth the effort. Senior Citizens always have another person with you and do not pay any up front money. Doreen Schreiber

    Painting by Tibi Inc
They did a phenomenal job transforming our home into something beautiful. Painting the exterior to perfection and redid the lanai floor and created something I'm excited to utilize as a living space. Reasonable, fast, won't cut corners. Fabulous company. A++++

    JPM Pool Cage Painters
The worst experience of my entire life. Completely unprofessional. No one is accountable for anything said. Their contract is a flat out lie. Make sure you go over your contract with a fine toothed come. They will quote you for expensive screen and than sneak in the cheap stuff. This company takes advantage of people. They did not take their time to do any prep work. No sanding, only pressure washing. Over spray everywhere. Multiple panels left unpainted even though they say they will paint 2 coats. Barely any screws were changed out and than they were put back unprofessionally. Many screws can be pulled right out with a bit of pressure. Rusting only a few months later. This whole process has been a life lesson. There is a reason they want to be paid before the job is finished. No one in their right mind would pay for the work they offer. The owner sent his mother to my house!!! They attempted to fix mistakes with paint brushes... Many promises unkept. Only lies and excuses for bad work and bad business ethics. The worst company I have ever dealt with. Look elsewhere!!!

    Watts Professional Painting
The painting tape was never used. Cheap Scott Paint was used. most walls were painted with only 1 coat of paint, and the back of the house (white walls) were intentionally skipped, hoping that I never catch. Former employees confirmed that they only painted 1 coat and was told to skip the back side by their boss. Do NOT pay any amount until the ENTIRE job is done to your satisfaction. Otherwise you will never see him come back.

    White's Painting and Power Washing
Perfect!  I can't say enough about everyone included, always on time, so very neat and the completion looks great.  I always prefer family owned companies - they really have a vested interest in their client.

    Burnett Painting
Not well. First we had delayed scheduling. Then we had one painter show up who communicated to the owners it was not possible to do the job in the 40 hours they allotted. His opinion was that a lot of prep needed to be done. Evidently this opinion was not considered as caulking was not completed, adequate cleaning was not done, and needed sanding was not done. Client had arguments with owners about people not showing up one day. Owner said it was due to rain. Rain was only a few hours in the morning of an otherwise sunny and hot day. The weather forecast had not changed from the day before when client was told 2 painters would be coming. No one came that day. Client decided it best to make amends and try to just get the job done. Then 4 painters showed up. Owner said job would be completed that day. Client was suspicious of this. It was not completed. Observed work was sloppy with some areas still showing bare wood after 2 coats, paint on hinges, weather stripping not removed to paint doors, paint on screen. When client pointed out paint brush streak on new screen, was told by owner that it was indeed paint. No offer to assist with removing was made. Client spent an hour trying to remove with alcohol. Painters did not help in any way. Faint brush mark is still present. The job was not completed. The next day 3 painters came and the same lack of attention to detail was observed. Trash was left on site and an uncleaned roller was left on lanai. The job was not finished. When client told owner that there was an extensive punch list, owner came and reviewed. At each item pointed out, owner was dismissive and behaved as if no problem could be seem. Owner put accompanying employee on the spot asking if he saw any problems. Client disagreed with owner's assessment. Owner told employee to discontinue interior work and walked off job. When client told owner that relative also had quality issues, response was "birds of a feather." Attached are photos of inadequate paint coverage, paint on hinges, post not sanded, and peeling starting. Clients hired based on representations of experience in prepping old houses. Owner also said warranty was 2 years for a non-stucco substrate. Website says Benjamin Moore has 9 years for type of paint used. Clients have filed a complaint with local BBB. First attempt to contact Burnett failed as incorrect address is listed. 67372573
