    BP Screens Inc
From beginning to end the professionalism, knowledge and service received from Rey Prado was top notch. Mr. Rey Prado displays a level of professionalism that is an asset to BP Screens. Hope Mr. Bill Planchart (owner) appreciates him and crew. Re-screening is no easy feat but they made it look easy and they did an excellent job. Mr. Prado and his crew members work very well together and were very attentive to detail and took the time to explain everything and were always eager to answer any questions. They completed the work in a timely manner. My pool enclosure looks great. I would definitely call on them again in the future and will definitely spread the word to my friends and family. Thank you Rey Prado.

    RICHARD EAVES
Richard came out on time to inspect my pool enclosure and quickly provided two very reasonable options. Led by his crew chief, Sterling, his team did a great job. They pressure washed the entire frame and deck. The screens are tight with no sagging and all the deck bolts are secured. Awesome teamwork, even working through the rain to get the job done on time as promised.

Based on the solid recommendation of a neighbor, I called Richard Eaves and highly recommend him. Will definitely call him again.

    Harper Screen Enclosures LLC
Extremely professional, showed up on time, completed the work quickly and was priced very reasonably! I decided that I wanted pet screen on a portion of our job, so he came back the next day with the pet screen for the door. I can't tell you how nice it is to find a contractor that shows up on time for a scheduled job! Thank you so much for being a professional! I would highly recommend Mr. Harper for screen replacement!

    Lightning Aluminum
Lightning was hired as a sub contractor by Larsons Pool and Spa. They were the first on the job removing my old pool enclosure. They arrived on the day requested, and within 6 hours had the entire enclosure taken apart, loaded up and removed from the site. The day after the pool was completed, they came to begin constructing the new enclosure. All materials were delivered and construction began the following day. The guys were very pleasant, and answered our many questions. The entire job took three full days as there were only two men working. We were told the entire job would take 1 1/2 days.

The insulated roof was installed the first day. They cut and assembled all the aluminum on site and built the roof beams on the ground. The side walls were put up and screened first, the roof beams were put up the next day and screened. All the finishing touches and caulking was completed.

I was told everything would be cleaned up and we would never know they had been there. When everything was done, they used a high powered leaf blower to blow all the debris and all the scraps of aluminum and screening material was picked up.

The problem I had with this was 3 fold. I had a new deck built with concrete pavers. The pavers were just installed and sanded. The blower used to clean up removed a great deal of sand, and also left plenty of gaps between the pavers for tiny aluminum shavings to become embedded. I spent several evenings with a tiny pick and a little trash can picking hundreds of very sharp curled up coils of aluminum shavings that could have worked like splinters in bare feet around the pool. While I got most of them, I am still finding bits of aluminum in the sand. I'm not sure if there is any way to prevent this issue with pavers, but a tarp or plastic sheet may have helped in the drilling and cutting process. I have also heard this is not an uncommon issue in drilling screws into aluminum. It was not a huge problem, just more of an inconvenience in the cleanup for me and concern for young toes. I am writing this here, but did not really make a big issue of it to the company.

There was a small leak in the end of one of the gutters that are attached to the downspout. We did not see it, but heard it dripping after the first heavy rain. I called John, the owner and explained the issue. He sent someone out the following day and they caulked around the entire gutter end cap. It rained again that evening, and the leak did not occur again, so hopefully that will not be a problem again.

While all these issues seem very minor, mentioning them may help prevent them on the next job.

Overall, I am more than happy with my new screen enclosure. It looks beautiful, it is very well built and I am sure it will withstand the test of time and weather for many years to come.

    Superior Gutter & Screen, Inc.
Pavers were unavailable on date promised, delay of one week.  They said it would be a 3 day job.  Once they started it was 3 days.  The pavers are quite lovely, however, they completed 95% of the work and the next 5% has been grueling.  We made the mistake of paying the company before it was 100% complete.  When the screeners secured the bottom rails, they split/broke 5 pavers and they also needed to transition the pavers from inside the pool to the outdoor area so that we would not trip.  We paid and they gave us a date a few days later when they would finish the work.  Dates were promised on at least 4 different occasions and no one showed up  The company blames their subcontractors for not showing up and they make us feel as if we are being unreasonable when we voice our frustration at sitting around all morning waiting for someone to show up and they don't (i.e. it's not our fault, it's our subcontractors fault).  Well, we are not paying your sub-contractors, YOU are and we paid YOU to be the contractor.  On our fifth morning, we asked for them to confirm they would be there and received confirmation that they would be there by 9:30.  At 10:00 am, still not there.  We called again and were told they would be there between 12-12:30PM.  We called at 12;45 and stated we were leaving, only to get a voicemail to our home number at 12:53 PM stating that they would be there "in the next few minutes" stating that it was "close" to the 12:00 -12:30 PM as we were told, almost sounding that we were being unreasonable (after the 5th date of waiting for them to show up).  The company did not call our cell numbers - and we came home at 2:45 to find this message and no evidence that they had been there. The doorbell rang at 3:00 and it was two men that stated they could not fix the broken pavers as they needed the screening company to be there to work in conjunction with them.  The man complained that he had gotten many phone calls and it was a waste of gas money to come back to our house.  Again, we are pleased with the majority of the work, however, sitting around for five days waiting for people to show up that didn't show up and being made to feel that we are being unreasonable has been very difficult.  Suggestions to company:  apologize, apologize profusely.  Never make the person that is paying you to feel culpable or unreasonable for expecting the job to be completed.  Five no shows is five no shows too many.

David J. Brate Aluminum & Construction
Had a few minor problems that were resolved.  Had an employee which was not respectful of owners property which has since been let go.  Overall quality was very good and work was done to our satisfaction.  Would do business with again if needed.

    The Screen Man
Everything went as planned. Tom was in and out during the whole process to make sure everything was going smoothly. With the all the work they were doing it made quite the mess, but when it was all done they cleaned everything up and the job was done quite nicely! I would definitely hire Tom and his brother and son to do work for me in the future!!
