CWhen I called the company I was ensured they followed CDC guidelines, I requested they wear masks, and booties. I was assured they followed all CDC guidelines. They arrived at my home at 830am with no masks, booties, they told me they are not required to wear mask? They said there was nothing on the order that it was requested. They managed to find 2 masks in their truck. I am a senior, until all are tested I have to make the assumption everyone is asymptomatic. Younger people socialize more than seniors. I needed the job done. They did a good job, no complaints. They where very nice young men. No complaints. However with the pandemic and seniors being the most infected this company needs to follow CDC guidelines. I had to keep watch of everything they touch so I could sanitize after they left. Because of this I wouldnt hire them again, it was too stressful. They need to make it easier for all customers by following the guidelines.

AFirst time using Independent Tree Services -- saw them in my neighborhood and decided to try them after another service was unresponsive. Utilized service provider for tree trimming and removal of a tree. Very responsive, a knowledgable arborist came out and made recommendations, gave a detailed estimate and SOW. Workers came on time, gave a call ahead of time, and were professional. Did a thoroughly good job of cleanup. Additionally, the worker admitted to me that a frond from a tall palm had dropped and hit / cracked a roof tile (it was windy the day they trimmed). He apologized, gave me a digital picture, and related he would tell his foreman (Justin). Justin called me same-day, apologized, and was flexible with how to handle the repair. Very, very rarely have I worked with a service provider who was above board like this. They did good work and will be on speed dial for any of my next tree services.
