House Painting reviews in University Of Miami

    Ray's Painting Corp
Ray's Painting is one of the most professional home contractors companies I have dealt with in South Florida. Ray showed up on time for the estimation and every day for the work. His price was very fair and the valuable received far exceeded the price. First, he prepared the entire house and roof for painting, which means washing the house twice, patching holes, fixing cracks, caulking, replacing soffits/fascia etc. They took their time in the preparation phase (2-3 days) and did a great job. They were careful and considerate in their work and took care of outdoor furniture, appropriate covering of windows and doors, removal of lights etc. They then painted the roof and house and they did a fantastic job. My wife and I are very pleased. Ray and his crew were very professional, pleasant, courteous and respectful. They far exceeded my expectations and their demeanor and work was a very pleasant surprise given the low quality of contractors in South Florida. I highly recommend Ray's Painting.

    Ray's Painting Corp
In short, Ray and his crew are AMAZING! Professional, punctual, friendly, responsive, meticulous -- just all-around great people and a terrific company to work with. They painted the entire exterior of our Coral Gables house, including the front door (which was badly sun-damaged) . This involved spray-washing, priming, filling old shutter screw holes (we put in impact windows and didn't need the shutters anymore), and applying two coats of paint. They finished the job today (Friday) and when they left I realized that I will be a little sad not to have them around come Monday morning! If only every contractor could be this pleasant and professional to work with, the world would be a much happier place. Don't waste your time getting quotes from other painting companies -- just hire Ray! You won't regret it.

    Blue Sky Paint Works
George Gough and his employees at Blue Sky Paint Works did an outstanding job painting our home's exterior. I'm totally delighted with the results. Our house looks beautiful! George and his crew are very skilled, diligent, courteous, and reliable. Working full days, every day for over a week, they pressure cleaned, repaired damaged stucco and cracks, replaced old ducts and facia screening, primed and painted exterior walls, doors and chimney. They also did an amazing job repairing and painting my old aluminum window frames. They look like new and greatly enhance the look of our home. George patiently listened to and followed through with particular requests I made while they were working. I had interviewed several reputable painters, and George's quote was fair and reasonable. He is a delightful person to engage with, and is very honest. I lucked out in hiring Blue Sky Paint Works. It is a gem.

    Tazmania Painting Inc
Arlex painted our home exterior including the white tile roof and did an excellent job. Still looks great after a few years. He has also painted our interior rooms more than once, including the ceiling. We have referred him to friends and family and strongly recommend his quality service, attention to detail, cleanliness and punctuality.

    Erico's Painting Corp.
It went wonderful! My inlaws highly recommended Erico and his company when we needed help painting the outside and inside of our house. He and his team did an excellent job and Erico is still our number one go to guy. Not only are they fast but accurate as well. We actually just gave him a call to paint our new baby boys room and he finished in no time at all and it looks beautiful. Erico and his son are both very hardworking people and I have and will continue to recommend them.

    Superior Painting Services
Everything was delivered as promised . We were very reluctant to hire just anyone to paint our home as we have very picky when it comes to all details we require but George and crew were very clear as to how all surfaces were to turn out and was right on time with scheduling except for a few rain days which are to be expected. Overall everything especially Pedro's dedication to the finer details is much appreciated. We are planning on a full remodel or our interior and will be hiring Superior again without hesitation.

    Superior Painting Services
This was nothing short of spectacular experience. These guys set a standard of professionalism totally inconsistent with most home repair/improvement firms I have dealt with. As with all painting jobs, the prep is as important as the painting it self. They were tops! They used high quality products and the job was completed on schedule. Neighbors have commented on how good the house looks and the quality of job and have asked for Superior's contact information.

    Superior Painting Services
Excellent service, very professional from my first call to last day of work. George will answer all of your questions before starting the job, comes over to your house so you can agree on how everything will look like in the end. I was very very happy with the work Pedro the painter did. He got to my house every day on time, finished at sundown, very professional, organized, clean, never saw drops of paint in places where they shouldn't be. Overall i'm extremely happy with the service and the work they did in my house, highly recommended. Will use them in the future without a doubt.

    Eddy's Painting Contractors
Eddy and his team were great!  His price was a little higher than his competitors, but he agreed to fix anything he found--including replacing all sections of damaged eaves, door frames and attic vents as his team found them.  They did it and did it in spades.  There was no hassle--when they found a rotted section of the roof, they fixed it--many times over.  Never with hassle, they just got it done.  When they prepped the house walls, they power washed, scraped and repaired many damaged areas in the stucco.  Again, no hassle--they just did it.
The job took 8 days to complete, with one day off on Sunday.  There were generally 2-4 folks on the job each day and Eddy Sr. came by to check in each day.  There was no delay, just a lot of work to get finished--mainly the prep work.  Eddy and his team completed every item in the scope--and completed it superbly.
My wife and I believe we got a really good deal because there was no stress and the house looks great.  Throughout the job, I felt that Eddy cared more about satisfying me, than making his profit.  He simply said "yes" to everything we asked.
Our house looks better than it ever has.  We would hire Eddy again in a heartbeat.

    Benchmark Painting & Carpentry Inc
We recently purchased a home, scheduled to close at the end of June, that needs some updating. We felt that it would be a good idea to have our contractor in place now so that it would give them enough time schedule/begin our job right after closing.
One of the contractors that I reached out to was Benchmark Painting and set up an appointment through their office manager (Jes). She was able to set up an 11AM appointment and told me that Bob would be the one to meet myself, my realtor, and the seller's realtor at the home. I advised that punctuality was important as I had scheduled several appointments, with several contractors,  throughout that day and tardiness would have a domino effect on the whole day.

The appointment day came and at 11:20AM, there was no Bob and no call so I decided to call them instead to get an update and was told that someone would call me back. Sure enough about 5 minutes later, Bob called me to let me know he was running late and that it would be another 20 minutes or so which I told him to cancel as I already had an 11:45AM appointment scheduled.
I wrote to Jes to let her know that I was deeply disappointed and that although delays are understandable, timely communication of the delay is the easiest thing to do and it goes a long way towards good customer service. She replied that she completely understood and that this was not typical of their company and to give them another chance. Based on the many positive Angie's members feedback, I decided to do exactly that but on the condition that someone else other than Bob would handle the appointment.
This time the appointment was set up and Martin ( the owner) would personally come visit  and sure enough, he was on time and also had several sub-contractors come to meet us there. All went smooth and was told by Martin to give him till the middle of the following week to give me an estimate which would've been a week and a half away. At the deadline, I still hadn't heard back from them so I reached out only to be told that they would need an additional 2 days because their subs still hadn't provided their estimates to them. At the end of those 2 days, I still hadn't heard back from them so I decided to reach out and was told they would need another couple of days.
To summarize, some delays are uncontrollable thus acceptable but lack of respect for a potential customer's time is not. In my particular experience, a simple phone call to let me know they were running late would have gone a long way towards proving they focus on good customer service.
