Electrician reviews in Titusville

Contractor contacted me by phone before I was done reading your recommendations list...he came to my home took some measurements. I have not heard back from him since then, no calls no messages no estimates. I called Chris and told him since he had not responded to our meeting I had selected another contractor. So I contacted the second recommended electrician on the list, Lowe Electrical, and they have completed almost all the items I wanted done last Saturday. Today should complete the list.

I called with an emergency issue early on Tuesday morning, and Wyatt came out promptly and was here by 7:30 am. He troubleshot the problem and replaced the bad part. 3rd Power has great service, and now I've found an Electrician for all my future needs. I highly recommend 3rd Power !

Service manager Milo Lynch called the day before to confirm the appointment, then again an hour before to say he was on the way, showing up promptly at the appointed time. Milo was very thorough as he walked through the house, patiently explaining what needed to be done, presented possible scenarios and noted a few things that should have been done differently. He pointed out things that were done well, done badly and other things that were done incorrectly. (For example, my electric panel in the garage had been installed 'too high from the ground' and would therefore not pass inspection! I received a very detailed estimate a few days later, outlining the work that needs to be done (and corrected), also describing the electrical condition he found the house in, as left by the previous contractor. Milo was very professional, courteous, and sounded extremely knowledgeable. I was further impressed that he took such time to assess the situation and patiently explain everything to me. Because of Milo, I feel confident that I can trust IN PHAZE ELECTRIC and will definitely be calling on them to take on the job of finishing my electrical work; once the investigation of my previous electrical contractor is complete.

It went great. The price was reasonable. The technician was very knowledgeable. He showed me where the previous tank had been hooked up wrong that cost me money. He gave me an answer as to why my full solar system full hadn't worked right until a branch hit it and he advised not to buy any new solar water system because the chinese cheated on the copper, not adding enough I think it was phosphorus. I wasn't going to replace it anyhow but his knowledge was the best I've seen. You can rely on this company. And the owner upgraded me to a 50 gal tank from a 40 gallon at no extra cost. I'm amazed at the ineptitude of both the installer of my solar hot water system and the system in the back.

On May 23rd I entered into an agreement with Arnim Hernandez, owner of A.M.H. Electrical, to re-wire my house. A week later we met to notarize the permit application, and I wrote him a check for $3000 (a 50% deposit on the job). A week later I gave him another $1500. at his request. IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR AND MR HERNANDEZ HAS "ABANDONED" THE JOB, leaving my house in a terrible state, with wires sticking out of holes in the walls and ceilings in every room! Most of the outlets and switches have no cover plates and the electrical panel remains unlabeled---a jumbled mess of wires, POSING AN OBVIOUS SAFETY HAZARD!! In my experience, Mr Hernandez has been rude and disrespectful by not showing up for appointments on MANY occasions, without even a phone call. When I've tried to reach him to ask his whereabouts...(Are you running late? Are you still coming?). and then later to try and reschedule---he ignored my texts and phone calls, only to respond 2 weeks later by saying, "I'll be there on Thursday". NO apology, NO explanation, NO acknowledging my trying to contact him!! I have been more than patient with Mr Hernandez, giving his as much time as possible to complete the work in a timely fashion. He originally told me this job would take a few months. It is now 13 months to date and the job is only half done! Since he has obviously "abandoned" the job I now have to pay another electrician 'extra', to come in and sort out this mess! (Many professionals refuse to finish up someone else's job). I have since found out that he lied to me, and only filed a permit for 6 months. So now, the permit has expired!! What's worse is, Mr Hernandez has stolen $150 from me by not paying for the refrigerator and dishwasher he purchased (for someone) from me. He had his worker, Simon, stop by to take delivery of it one day, and texted me saying he would give me the $150 on his next visit. HE NEVER DID!! Mr Hernandez has not been here to work on the job for 2 months. He has continued to ignore my calls and texts. In my opinion, he has exhibited behavior that is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, unethical and just downright "mean-spirited". He left me stranded and in such a terrible bind, with this mess of wires all over the house! (Some say he took advantage of the fact that I'm a single woman---or perhaps he was upset that I didn't succumb to his advances?) In light of my BAD experience with Mr Hernandez, needless to say, I DO NOT RECOMMEND A.M.H. ELECTRICAL, as represented by ARNIM HERNANDEZ!! It is my hope that I can prevent someone else from falling victim to his 'unprofessional' ways!

I first contacted Tammy to set up a time for her to come to my home to give me a quote to repair damages to my den and half bathroom due to water damage. I explained to her that this wasn't a big job, however it was our only bathroom downstairs. I also explained to her that I had already had a team in to do the water and mold remediation and the hygienist gave the all clear for the restoration work to begin. Tammy and I played phone tag for a few days - this was not her fault! When she came to my home to take measurements and discuss the project, she seamed not enthused to do the work. I walked her through both rooms and explained what needed to be done and what type of vanity I wanted for the bathroom to give her an idea what to price for me. As I was walking her out, she felt compelled to tell me this was a "little job" and she "normally have larger projects". She proceeded to tell me that she would have an estimate ready for me in a week. Three weeks later, she still hasn't contacted me. The work was just finished by another company on yesterday. They did such an amazing job, I hired them to do a full remodel of my master bathroom and a guest bathroom, which I'm looking forward to working with them on. It troubles me when people say you should support local businesses and this is how they choose to engage with potential clients. I guess when that happens, you look for the talent you need in other places such as Orlando... because there's some really great talent there, especially in East Orlando. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend Apollo, but that's based solely on Tammy's professionalism and not the quality of work - I can't speak that.

Called Chris to fix cooktop wiring in fathers house. Came out following day & promptly fixed cooktop, charging only estimated service fee. Appreciated his professional explanation of the hazards of dads outdated electrical panel from the 1950's. After verifying details online, I agreed to replace. So glad he mentioned this because we have experienced dangerous issues with current still running thru wires while circuit breaker turned off & installing security lights & hot water heater. Chris was respectful of my parents being without electricity while he completed project & made sure the timing was convenient for them. Circuit panel installed at reasonable price too. I live out of town and rely upon Angie's List reviews. I'm glad I did and would recommend calling Chris for your next project.

On time, hassle free, professional installation. $975 out the door for a new GE brand 150 amp Circuit Breaker Panel with whole house surge protection. It was a replacement for my old (1966 year model Federal Pacific Circuit Breaker, which are prone to failure, and insurance company did not like) I recommended Space Coast Electric to my friend and co-worker who has the same old Federal Pacific Circuit Breaker, and he is going to have them replace his as well.
