    Avery Construction Design Consulting INC
I had 2 other companies come talk to me but it was easy to see from the beginning that Avery was the best. They gave me some initial pricing in writing on the very first visit. The second time that we met, they created 3D designs and a very detailed budget. The salesman was never pushy. I did my homework and called them back for a 3rd visit before I contracted them. They offered me many great places to visit where we were able to buy all of the necessary parts and they let me buy direct and take advantage of their contractor discounts. When the work was in progress, the crews were timely and neat. They swept each day. The managers, Keith and Dan, were very helpful with solving a few technical issues along the way. I'm happy to recommend them.

    South Shore Construction Services Inc

Kevin from South Shore Constructions Services is an awesome contractor.  He and his contractors present themselves in the utmost professional manner.  They were always punctual and kept to the original timeline.  Kevin is a bit of a "perfectionist", if it does not pass HIS inspection it will be re-done until it does.

He is always available for any questions and makes sure he keeps the lines of communication open. He explains the progress daily and makes sure everyone is on the same page.

The job site is cleaned up every evening.

We have recommended Kevin to family and friends who have also had the same awesome experience.

The two man crew arrived on time. and  inspected my home. I  had one difficult area near a cathedral ceiling that I was concerned about.  The job leader told me he would make sure the heavily sloped ceiling would get enough insulation and that it would stay in place once applied. They went to work  and had the job completed in short order.  With the exception of a few small tufts of insulation that blew in through light fixtures, you really could tell they had ever been there. I climbed up into the ceiling access hole to get a peak at my sloped ceiling and sure enough it was completely filled with insulation. Great work.

    Florida Energy & Air Services
Terrible......our first appointment was scheduled, my husband and I each took a day off of work and they no call no showed. When I called to see what happened I was told there was an they were out saving lives. We rescheduled and they were supposed to be done in two days....they were 4 hours late for that appointment. After they left we were then informed the job wasn't completed and that two more crews had to come out. More of our personal time wasted. Over the next few months the work got done, the crews were nice, though they stepped on the ac pan, broke it and we were without ac for 3 days in the middle of the summer. The work was supposed to take 2 to 3 days, but ended up taking months. They replaced the weatherstripping and we had to redo it as soon as they left. It was actually raining outside and there were bugs crawling through the cracks. We were told by the salesman/contractor that bid the job, that we would get 2500 back from the IRS and up to 7000 back from progress energy, both of which were complete lies. The rebates are the only reason we agreed to such a high dollar project. Unfortunatley we only got a total of 1000 in tax credits. We never saw him again after he got his commission from the sale. PLEASE do NOT use this company. There are several blogs online about the CEO and claims filed through the better business bureau. If you like throwing your money away, and being treated like you are just another paycheck....this is the company for you.

    David Spence Inc.
I can't say this ENOUGH.....the project went GREAT!!  These are the things that stand out for me as a client of DSI:

    Dave Spence is a listener:
I called Dave after reading several great reviews about his services on Angie's list :) Upon my first call he was hesitant to take my job because Tarpon Springs is a long traffic-ridden fuel-gulping drive from his home base area.  However, after listening to my story, his response was "Well, I can't promise you I'll take your job because the distance makes this job not very cost-efficient, but I will come and take a look and maybe I can offer you some friendly advise on your project."   For a distressed person in my situation, 10 days into a project that was slipping into the "THIS IS NOT GOING WELL!!!" stage, I was SO grateful to have someone willing to offer friendly advice!  Even if he didn't want to take my job-I appreciated his honesty and willingness to share his time and expertise.   When he met me at my place, we could both see that there were certain problems not being addressed well by the first where they had removed the vanity, they left a leaky pipe, dripping water into the very room they were trying to dehumidify, dry out and air-scrub!   Dave went to his truck, brought back the exact part that I needed and fixed the leak, right there on the spot...he wasn't even my contractor yet!!  I think that was the moment he took pity on me....and the next day (after I fired the other guys) he agreed to take my project.  YAY!!  What a relief!!

    Dave Spence communicates:
I was in Michigan during most of the completion of my project, so Dave sent me updates almost DAILY-through email, or with pictures or with phonecalls.  He kept me informed every step of the way....and I mean EVERY step of the way.  If there was a hitch in the project, which there always the countertop I picked out was on back order, or turns out the entire shower pan sustained damage....I knew about it right away and Dave always talked through my options with me to help me make the most informed and best decision for our situation.  He values doing a job well and doing it right, and I truly appreciate the extra efforts he made to help me get educated about the decision I was making.

Dave Spence and his team have Integrity:
Dave and his team treated me and my home with respect and even my neighbors, and their homes/spaces with respect as well.  We live in a place where it's pretty close quarters and this is important to me.  Dave and his guys will not do a job unless it is done well.  Besides taking great care in workmanship and detail on every piece of this project, Dave helped me to make the BEST-informed decisions, always.  He always put forth the extra effort to make sure the project had integrity and that I was happy with the outcome.  If there was a piece of information that turned out to be different than what we had discussed, I always heard about it and we discussed options.  I need to remind you, because I believe the service I received was EXTRAORDINARY and I mean it-I was in Michigan for the majority of time this project took place.  He always valued my opinion and took time to answer any questions I had.  He always went the extra mile to keep my adjuster informed, as well.  He took pictures of EVERYthing and every step, stage of the project, keeping the details in order and the overall breadth of my project easily understood.  On my final walk through of the project, Dave wanted to make sure that I was not just "happy" but EXTREMELY happy...for example, there were a couple of "tweaks" that I was willing to make on my own...but upon hearing that a couple of places needed some touch up paint, and a couple of other little things needed some attention, he sent one of his guys up to FIX IT to my satisfaction.

I could not be happier with the outcome of this project, my place looks fantastic.  It's fresh and new and what was a tragic, out of control disaster has turned into a beautiful welcoming (and even updated) vacation home that my family will be able to enjoy with comfort and confidence for years to come!!

    RAM Insurance Services
Dave called me several weeks ago about liability insurance , due to my busy schedule , He made it a point to go out of his way to meet me. He worked hard to find me a policy I needed (and did not know existed) and fight to find me the best price and help me fill out the paper work because of my crazy schedule.
Dave also made me feel comfortable and confidant, he has honesty and integrity .
People in the insurance business are a dime a dozen . He is not a fast talker or a dishonest person.
He is a gem to his profession and I have found a friend as well as a long time insurance person.

    Time Insulation
They gave us the best price. They had a man come out to our and do an inspection. They were very good at keeping to the price. According to the man that fixed our duct work, it looked like they put down quite a bit of insulation. They were prompt and very courteous. They explained the different types of insulation and the benefits of each. They were very considerate.

Leonard was always here at the time and date he said he'd be. He was polite, cleaned up and removed all debris. Referred me to a great plumber and a laminate installer. He was trustworthy, explained everything in detail. My husband and I felt he was part of the family. We highly recommend him.

The 2 technicians showed up exactly on time, protected the carpet, blew the insulation into the ceiling, and were done within 1/2 an hour. They even added a sheet of insulation into an area that couldn't be reached with the blower. For $150, it seemed like an excellent bargain to me because it would have been a hot, miserable, weekend project for my husband.
