    Jay and his crew did a great job of clearing out the yard and trimming the trees. He also arranged for stump grinding. Everybody was polite, courteous, and hard working. The work took three days and everything was done in a professional manner. I will be using his services again in the future.

    College Hunks Hauling Junk
    This is a "bait and switch" company!! We were given a price over the phone of $99 to haul away a sofa and love seat; however, when they arrived, they told the price was actually double that -- $200!! Then, they "settled" for $150. What a rip-off!! Beware of these bait and switch tactics!! We could have said no, but we needed the furniture taken away, because we bought a new sofa. I will never use them again and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau! Do not use them unless you want to be ripped off! Take your business elsewhere!!

    My move date was originally on Sunday and it was moved last minute to Saturday. Next I was told the day before that they could not transport my car. Now I was left with having to figure out what to do with my car unexpectedly as I am unable to move around due to my medical condition. Next they provided an ETA of Monday 8-9am and showed up Sunday around 1pm. Three guys showed up and were efficient with loading the car, caring my items down stairs, and helping with placing my trash in the garage. I gave the $2,300 cash (half of the amount as agreed. I had asked for an eta on when they would arrive to the storage facility in Cypress, Tx and was told they would be at the storage facility Monday morning between 8-9am. Up to this point everything seemed to be good. Due to the company being unable to take my vehicle, one of the guys, Quincy, approached me to work out a side deal to drive my car to Texas following the moving truck. Being without any other options I agreed to pay him cash and refund him gas upon providing my family member with gas receipts showing the amount of gas (gallons and total cost) purchased. He mentioned he had young kids and could use the cash so I thought why not. It helps me and helps him out as well. The issues occurred after the move. They arrived earlier than planned and had requested the final payment of $2,300 cash. My family had made plans Sunday as were not immediately available with all the cash (who carries that much cash around on a given day anyway?) as the agreed upon delivery date was Monday morning not Sunday at 1pm. The company only accepts cash which we didn't not have on Sunday due to banks being closed. So they agreed to unload the truck as original agreed to on Monday. And apologized. for the incorrectly forecasting the arrive date and time. Apparently they originally calculated the travel time to be more that 20 hours instead of 16-17 hours which is takes to get to Cypress. The final issue came when the guy - Quincy did not deliver the car upon arrival and waited until Monday morning to deliver the car. Next he provided receipts that were questionable that did not show the actually amount of gas pumped and were higher than the actually amount that it should have taken to fill up my car. Some of the receipts showed anywhere from $30-$50 when my car is only 13 gallons max it should have cost was mid $20 for a full tank. I know as I have driven to Texas on multiple occasions and did not spend nearly the amount he did. Additionally, some of the receipts he wrote in pen the amount spent. When asked about he receipts and about the costs he went off (yelling) on my family and I for a long time. We paid him above what we though was reasonable for what the gas should have been. I had sent multiple friends and family the receipts and ask for their expert opinion as many of them drive long distances and were also told the receipts did not make sense. They advised that I was being taken advantage of due to my health and being without an option to have the company transport my car. The next day I receive the below unprofessional message from Quincy who drove my car. ". "What u did was sad u should be ashamed of your self not only did we move your stuff but we also transported your car safely and I'm too of not wanting to pay me my money for gas u didn't even tip us......u took money out of my kids mouth...GOD don't like ugly thats y u going there what u going there or makes scene now....u will never get well treating people that way...u will get sicker and sicker until u do right by ppl.....u don't need doctors u need to treat people fairly and stop trying to get over on peole....have a good day thanks for the horrible." experince...what goes around comes around

    First I would like to say the movers were very nice and professional and nothing on the truck was broken or damaged. However, after the truck was unloaded they let us know that there were a "couple of boxes" of ornaments that did not make it on the truck. We said that was fine we would contact the new owner and pick them up. My spouse went over Friday evening to pick them up - TWO TRUCK LOADS later everything else was delivered!! Also, on the last trip the new home owner let us know when the water was turned back the movers did not shut off the water valves so when he returned home there was over 6" water in the laundry room. it is off the outside off the house - good thing. The movers said they would take care of the washer dryer hook ups so i do not understand even though the water was off why they would not check the valves. I gave the new home owner $250.00 that I had in cash on me to make a good effort to remedy the situation. After a week of emails and calls back and fourth I was offered a gift card to a local restaurant. Extremely disappointed and would not use again.

    Hall Brothers Moving & Junk Removal/Hauling
    These guys were amazing. I have to give a shout-out to Ed and Gino - the best movers I've ever had!  They were on time, polite, and it's indisputable that they know what they're doing!!!  They never stopped for a minute.  They wrapped everything in shrink wrap or movers blankets and knew exactly how to load a truck and storage unit for maximum efficiency and space usage.  Honestly, I thought I was going to have to get a larger storage unit, but they utilized every inch of space and everything fit perfectly.  Gino is a kick to work with - he's funny and energetic. Ed is a little more reserved, but one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. It was a pleasure to meet them both. In a couple of weeks we'll need to move the furniture into our new home. I will definitely be using Hall Brothers again, and will ask for Ed and Gino again. They made a stressful situation seem easy and smooth. Well done!!!

    Ken's Hauling LLC

    We live 1200 miles from Tarpon Springs. A death in the family put us in charge of clearing this person's house.  After checking Angie's List found Ken's Hauling.  As luck would have it, there was a "special" being offered, so printed the coupon.  I called Ken's from here and he told me to call him when we got to Florida to set a pick-up date. 

    Once we got there and called, Ken's crew was scheduled to be at the house two days later.  Both Ted and Melo arrived at the appointed time and were very efficient and polite.  Everything was removed without a hitch in a short period of time.

    It's a professional company and we'd use them again!

    They did a great job for a reasonable cost.  Overall:  Very satisfied! Their quote was much less than most of their competitors.  There was a problem with the date for doing the job:  I needed it done by a certain date; they showed up on time to do the job but decided they needed a crane; they rescheduled for when I was away.  They probably did a better job with the crane and didn't increasetheir quote for the crane use.  However, I wasn't there to see the completed job, since I wanted to ensure there were no problems or damage to my house.  However,they took photos and seemed to do a great job. The put down plywood on my paver driveway to protect it.  When you get their quote for a stump grinding, be sure to specify whether they remove the debris or leave it for you to clear. My contract didn't specify but they covered the small cost of removal.
