Concrete Repair reviews in Tarpon Springs

    Kongkrete Kreationz
Patrick formed and poured a brand new 65'x24' driveway along with a 6'x30' path to my front door. Patrick is very responsive and communicates clearly. Kongkrete's pricing was reasonable and his crew was courteous and respectful while on site. I would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.

    Fleet Concrete Inc
I wish there were a score higher than A! Fleet Concrete was fantastic! Bob came out on time and did some measurements and gave us an estimate on the driveway apron that was holding water when it rains and two patios in the back of the house, one that was pavers that needed to be removed and regraded and another that was never anything but yard out the back door. We agreed on the estimate on September 20th and on October 20th the crew came and installed everything the same day. They may have been able to come earlier but they were great about working around our busy schedule. The crew was at the house bright and early and I was introduced to every member of the crew. They were all professional and respectful of our property and our neighbors. They did a great job and finished up the same day. I did have a small issue with a few small bubbles that had formed and Bob called and said that they would be out on Friday to fix them and when I got home from work I couldn't even tell where they had been. Great experience and I have gotten compliments from my neighbors on the work they did and I have recommended them greatly.

    Harry Long Masonry
Harry was amazing from start to finish the perfect gentlemen!  Our footer has remained beautiful and the screen has remained sound now for 6 years I figured a new review with history of amazing work is well overdue!  Harry even knew how to work with our city to obtain quick and painless permitting for the footer.  Man who knows what chocolate to bring to keep everyone happy!  Cant thank him enough and if my husband and I ever have need for concrete work or any skills he can assist with we will surely call him

    Fleet Concrete Inc

I received a phone call reply to my request for an estimate on 8/6/15.  The woman who called me was rude and condescending.  Instead of  accommodating my request for an visit to obtain an estimate, I was subjected to an interrogation for details about the job that I couldn't possibly answer over the phone while I was at work.

Examples of the questions I she asked that I could and did answer were:

    (1) What is the nature of the work? (I need a wooden railroad tie retaining wall along the side of my house replaced, and a concrete walkway)

    (2) Do you live in a subdivision? (I answered Yes)

    (3) Does your subdivision have a homeowners association? (I answered Yes)

    (4) Is the retaining wall set back from the property line? (I answered Yes, by at least 3 feet)

The woman then belligerently subjected me to multiple detailed questions that only a building professional would be able to answer, including questions about minimum setback from the house foundation and the current compliance with the building codes.  I tried to explain to this woman that those kinds of questions would be best handled during the estimate, but she refused to schedule an appointment and kept insisting on more answers to questions that I was incapable of answering.  I told here the retaining wall already existed and had been built by the home builder 15 years ago and she nonsensically replied "It doesn't matter, you still have to meet new building codes!"  ...WHAT????

I reminded he that all I wanted was for someone to come and give me an estimate, that the detailed questions could be resolved then.  She replied she needed to make sure they were not wasting their time sending someone out to give me an estimate.

When I told the woman maybe I was doing business with the wrong company, she replied that maybe I was.  The conversation ended when she stated I need to find another company to do the work.

I have never been so mistreated, not even by companies that are not on Angie's List.  I called Fleet Concrete Inc. on 8/6 during the evening and left a message that I wanted to speak with Mr. Bob Custer himself to discuss what had transpired on 8/6 before I would rate his company on Angie's list, and I received no response.  My response is this rating.

    J Bates Concrete Construction Inc

I am a nuclear engineer & business manager... by nature, "a details guy".  Acing a review with me is not an easy thing to do... I don't write many.  I interviewed several contractors for the work, & Joe stood out immediately for his integrity and knowledge of what process would deliver the highest quality results.  I could tell in our first conversation that he cared about quality the same way that I did, & that he had the knowledge to carry it out.  In addition, his suggested process would result in less collateral damage to my home, ata lower cost.  An exceptional value all the way around.

Joe & team showed up when they said they would & executed the job.  Beautiful finish, nice lines, high attention to detail... exactly like we talked about.

Very happy with Joe's service.  My highest recommendation.  Save yourself time & worry - have Joe do your work.

    Low Cost Concrete Inc
Terrance started the job a couple of weeks later than anticipated due to illness, but that was okay with us. Once he arrived, he determined that it would not be necessary to take out the old smaller slab and he was able to pour the new slab with that smaller one still in place. He sent us photos since we were not there, and we all agreed he should install a drain near the sliding glass doors to guard against water getting into the house. He cleaned everything up when he was done and we couldn't be more pleased with the work. It was our first step to getting a usable outdoor space. Highly recommend.

The patio has not been completed.  he still needs to fix a crack and stain two areas  I have called him many times and he either does not respond or says he will be here and does not show up.   This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.  My mistake?  I did not go through angies list to find a concrete company, I paid him upfront (what was I thinking), and used the recommendation of my handy man who I am not using any longer.

Birge's Concrete & Bobcat Services Inc
From start to finish, Steve and his crew worked extremely hard.  Very tough conditions due to the root system from a large oak tree running underneath the existing driveway.  After breaking up and removing the old concrete, literally hundreds of roots had to be cut and removed.  They finished grading late on the first day, and got ready to pour the new driveway the following morning. They finished on time, and did a wonderful job.  Steve even came back several days later to check up on the project, and because of the heavy rain the day after they poured, did a few touch ups.  The driveway looks fantastic, and we are very pleased.

    Artistic Ground View Landscaping Design
They were excellent. They came out even though I was a little far as far as distance. The owner of the company came out for some curbing work, and gave me an estimate. I liked what he had to say, and his work was great. He was very conscientious, the work turned out beautiful. The work was a little more expensive than some of the other companies, but it was worth it.

    INCREATIONS
They were very nice.  There wasn’t anything that I disliked about them.  I just decided not to use their product.  It was a husband and wife team, and they were very friendly and cordial.  They told me what they could do and how much it would cost.  Their quote was reasonable.  I would not use them again in the future just because I would not be using their product.
