  Cioffi's Custom Upholstery

  This was a great experience. The owner Nick was very responsive, answering calls right away or returning messages quickly. He was very helpful when I was looking at fabric books and allowed me to take a couple of books home with me to look at more carefully. His pricing was fair and reasonable for one large sofa, two armchairs, two ottomans, six pillows, and four arm covers. Cioffi's was very flexible when it came to pick up and delivery, and very clear about the amount of time needed for the work, which was also very reasonable. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, it all looks beautiful.

  Fortney's Appliance Sales

  In store experience was satisfactory as was the installation the next day. Dish washer has worked fine on three occasions, Noticed the refrigerator (cost $1200) did not seem as cold Friday evening, 4/14/17. The refrigerator had been set on the coldest setting for over a week. A thermometer was placed in the refrigerator. Saturday morning the refrigerator was at 50 degrees. Fortneys was called and we told to call Whirlpool's customer care number. The earliest appointment available for repair service was sometime on 4/17. Called Flamingo Appliance Service and the best they can do is put me on a cancellation list. Forney's was sympathetic but not able to help. In the future, I will find out about actual warranty service before purchasing anything. Not sure who is most responsible for POOR experience... Fortneys? Whirlpool? Flamingo Appliance Services? Off to store to get more ice.

  It went fairly smoothly. The guys came to deliver and set things up. They gave me a rough run-through of everything. I did notice after they left that one of the dividers inside the refrigerator hadn't been installed.

  AAA Furniture Repair Service

  The 6 chairs in my dining room set, which was made in the 1990's, were starting to come apart. Steven picked them up at my home and reinforced them. He also reinforced the arms on my two end chairs and put sliders on the bottom of each chair so that the legs don't get caught in the grout of my ceramic tile floor. The chairs are much more secure and steady now. They don't squeak and jiggle when you sit down on them, and the sliders make it so much easier to move the chairs on my ceramic tile floor. Steven was professional and honest and his work was top-notch. He has done two other jobs for me in the past, and I would not hesitate to contact him again. He takes great pride in his work and making sure his customers are 100% satisfied.

  Platinum Refinishing Inc

  The attached pictures show why I am still smiling weeks after Cassio completed the refinish job on the master bath shower
  stall.  The job took only 1 day.  He left the work area spotless.  Price was very reasonable compared to having a contractor come in and rip out the tiles and re-tile the entire shower area. Most importantly, I LOVE how my shower stall looks now.  The house was built in the ?80s.  Having the tiles refinished is an excellent way to refresh the look of a bathroom.

  Precision Piano Tuning

  We just got a used piano that is in great shape but was a bit out of tune. Doug came over in a timely manner and tuned the piano, which is a spinet.
  He was very thorough and professional, and the piano sounds great now!

  He loves pianos and enjoyed  the historical bio on mine.  Doug arrived on time and although I bought a sale price special  he gave over an hour of tuning.  One of the keys slightly raised up but he promised it would not affect the quality of the music.  He explained that he could align the slightly raised key  but not in the time frame of the special price. He did not pressure me for a revisit but suggested I tune the piano at least annually so I told him to call me two months before the next tuning so I can schedule it with plenty of time.  I also feel he adjusted the keyboard action too slow...in other words the keys when hit take a relatively long time to recover. I like a springier keyboard, and I wish I had told him this when he was here.  I am not sure why he slowed it, because the action was tighter before he began the tuning.  Overall, Doug i69 professional, talented and polite.

  Elian is very fun and engaging - in addition to being a great piano tuner. I noticed the difference immediately after he left - that the sound was much cleaner and more beautiful.  He is coming back in six months.  I'd recommend him to anyone!

  • Had Old sewing machine cabinet and the top would not stay on any more as the screws had been stripped, and replacement hardware was not available.  

  Steve came out to residence and promised to fix it to my satisfaction or no charge.  
  He was very polite, professional and very creative.  
  He was resourceful and creative as he tried several different options before one really worked.
  Work was completed, cabinet lid was restored, and now useful.  
  I was pleased with the work and would recommend him to anyone.   
  I would call him again next time I had a problem.
