I had my car repaired at this Pep Boys. (4397 N Pine Island Road). I used this shop frequently before it became a Pep Boys because of the proximity to my house and I was always satisfied there. However, after one visit to this car shop that is no longer the case. Not only did my repair take several days because they misdiagnosed the problem, but I had to return my car only two weeks later because the AC had gone out again. I had my car in the shop for an entire day again today and they still don't have a solution to my problem. The people at the shop obviously did not run checks on my car to diagnose the problem. I was able to tell them it was an electrical issue with the fan not getting power to turn on, but at the end of the day they blamed my AC not working on a button on the dash (obviously not the reason the entire fan system stops working). While working on the car today they switched a couple of interior dash lights on my car. They said they did this to check the AC (at no point was I called or given an estimate or anything of the sort). Now I am told that one of the two lights that they switched no longer works. I would assume that when you go into a car to test something you are responsible not to break that part, but apparently that is not the case. The light now does not work, and the shop told me that it was my fault because it was not working before it came in. Now not only did they not fix the AC they also broke one of the dash lights. I explained that the light should be ordered and replaced, but apparently it is a specialty part that has to be ordered. Only after an hour on the phone was I able to confirm they had to order the part. First the part didn't exist, then I was told I should know in advance the light didn't work because I had extra parts for the light in my car, then I was told it was special order and the manager needed to order it. I simply wanted to get assurance that they would fix the part they broke (a simple light). I left today with my car without assurance that the part would be ordered or even what the part was. When I asked for the part number, or a detailed statement about what they performed on my car they had nothing there. They could not even tell me a part number for the light. Needless to say this is the last time I will use that store. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, the headaches today mean that I will gladly drive a little further to get my car repaired in the future. I had to return to the store because 8 months later the AC still doesn't work correctly. My ac 8 months later still doesn't work so I'm stuck trying to get pep boys to honor my warranty. Needless to say they didn't fix it and won't fix it. I spoke with Jose Diaz the store manager. To say he's rude is an understatement. They won't fix the ac and instead of explaining the issue he yelled and hung up on me not once but three times. I had a friend call the store and as soon as he heard it was in reference to my issue he hung up on them (this was a woman in my world men should have some manners.) I filed an official complaint with corporate and am awaiting resolution. But needless to say avoid this place and avoid Jose Diaz. Maybe he's just having a rough day we all do but to hang up on a customer is in my estimation a bad idea.

I looked everywhere for a diagnosis and and a price. All the shops gave me outrages prices. I called Elite Auto Repair and owner Amir the master tech for 12 years actually called me back in 2 minutes. I went to him and he plugged my car into his high tech scanner and he diagnosed it in 10 minutes. Two hours later my car was running perfect.

I bought a plan, and I'm still working on it. I did not have to pay anything. I've been using them for many years.I like everything about them, everything. I'd give them an A+. They're just very pleasant, very friendly, everything about them. It's no problem scheduling.

I have two Hondas and I usually take them to the Honda dealer. I like to take my vehicles there. Their prices are pretty pricey. Their quality of service is excellent. I would say that they're very thorough, they take good care of my vehicle when I take it, and the people that do the service are very kind. They're attentive and kind. They usually take it right in and it's not that long of a wait.

I think the cost of re-balancing my tires was included with the maintenance that we have.  We have a contract for the maintenance for the cars with Honda.  Their prices were very good.  Honda is really great.  I just take it in and they take care of it.

It went well and the price was great except when I first arrived, they acted like they never heard of Angieslist, and then when I was being checked out, the guy said "It comes to $43.05," and I said that I already paid through angieslist. He said it doesn't work that way, so like a fool I paid it. I went home and checked my bank statement, and yes, I was already charged by angieslist when I ppurchaed it onloine and printed my voucher. I just called and spoke with the manager and he said he would look into it and call me back. I'm still waiting for a call 2 hours later. Hopefully, he will rectify the situation very soon and refund my money. I will then amend my review. However, are they completely clueless or scam artists?

We needed a diagnostic review of our vehicle because it failed to start. The battery would start with a jump but would not restart. To make a very long story short, we were having quite a lot of difficulties with our road side service organization but Paul remained very patient during the whole ordeal. We just moved here one month ago from Chicago. The auto shop we used there we originally found on Angies List. Ken and staff were great (A&A Automobile Service, Inc.) and we will miss them. However, it looks like we got lucky again with another great Angies List find in Paul Iacobelli at Sunrise!! One more reason to love South Florida! Thank you, Paul! We will definitely want you to be our service guru here.

I went there because the brake pedal was kind of low. They told me that I needed a new master cylinder. They told me to bring the car so they could bleed the brakes. I brought it on a saturday and waited a couple hours while they bled the brakes. The owner told me I still had a problem and I had to bring the car back after they ordered the part. After they replaced the master cylinder Jon the mechanic told me that that anti brake lock control module needed to be replaced and quoted me at a $1980 repair. I told them I couldn't have that done so I took my car to another shop. The new shop figured out it was just the slide lock pins on the caliper that were frozen and it was an easy repair for them to complete.

Excellent! We have used their auto repair service before and they always did extremely well. When they fix your car, it is properly repaired! Stewart (the owner) is extremely honest, incredibly competent, and equally decent. His rates are very fair too.

Owner checked my brakes and determined that I only needed new pads up front.  I had originally got a quote from Firestone on St Rd 7 in North Lauderdale for $335 for rotors and pads which they said were 98% worn.  This was told to me when I gave them my car for an oil change. They called to tell me I needed the brake work.  I told them to just do the oil change.  I decided to take a look on Angies list and found Dr. Brakes.  They told me my rotors were fine.
It has only been this one time car work done but I was so impressed that I now have found my new mechanic.
    I am very happy.
