  • Super!!! We had an unusual request to not only reupholster the seats of our six chairs but also to upholster the wooden framed backs. Karen was open to the idea and Tony looked at it for a while and said he could do it. They did an awesome job. The chairs are beautiful. We get complements on them all the time. Also it took less than a week for the whole job to be done. I would highly recommend Tony and his team for quality, price and timeliness for any size job.

  • They promised 2-3 days business repair, turned into 23 days in total (holidays, difficult repair, ect.). Had to call several times to know status of my repair. Was treated rudely and when I was fed up with the responses I received and raised my voice, I was told that I was rude and Henry hanged the phone - talking about being rude!!!!! How come I dare to be upset??? Horrible customer service. When I finally received my eyeglasses (by mail), the repair is so poorly done that I will have to go ahead and do new eyeglasses (after paying $75 for the "repair"). What a waste of time and money!

  • I called him again to explain why I didn't get back to him with the information he requested. I asked him to please come to my home so that he could see in person all the information I had. He agreed to come over December 11, just before noon. He plainly stood me up, no show, no call, nothing. Needless to say, extremely disappointed being treated this way even after identifying myself as an Angie's List member!

  • ECM told us that we’d save money with FPL having a new unit and we have .... from $250 to $180 per month ! The service with ECM has always been very professional.We have referred family and friends. We could not afford to live without ECM !

  • Steve patiently removed the jammed post and replaced the internal parts to hold the post firm. It was not an easy job. He had all of the parts with him and the post is as good as new. Steve's knowledge of furniture and experience is very hard to find. I would use him again and would recommend him. So glad to find him.

  • I hired Cioffi's Upholstery to re upholster living room furniture.  Owner Nick was great. He was helpful to me when looking at fabric books, and very flexible with timing for pick up and delivery of my furniture.  He was very responsive when I would call, either answered right away or returned my call quickly.  The work was impeccable and fairly priced.  I would highly recommend Cioffi's Upholstery.

  • This was a great experience. The owner Nick was very responsive, answering calls right away or returning messages quickly. He was very helpful when I was looking at fabric books and allowed me to take a couple of books home with me to look at more carefully. His pricing was fair and reasonable for one large sofa, two armchairs, two ottomans, six pillows, and four arm covers. Cioffi's was very flexible when it came to pick up and delivery, and very clear about the amount of time needed for the work, which was also very reasonable. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship, it all looks beautiful.

  • This is a family owned business and it shows. A young man (I believe he said third generation Albers in the business) came with another employee to do the delivery and installation. They were respectful, careful not to hit my doorways or walls as they moved the large machines through, patient while I cleaned up the laundry room after they removed the old machines because there was years of dust and debris in there, and efficient workers. They were quick and professional and hauled away my old machines. I have no complaints whatsoever about the installation. I was also pleased with the price. I had done my research and selected the particular brand and model of washer and dryer I wanted. I called a competitor of Albers just to price check. Not only were the prices at Albers slightly better, but they did not charge me anything for delivery and installation, which the competitor would have done. My only minor criticism would be regarding the organization of their scheduling. A lady at their office called me in a panic a week before delivery because they were confused and thought they were supposed to deliver on the upcoming weekend. I had to inform her that we had actually scheduled for the following weekend and I would be out of town on business during the upcoming weekend, much to her relief. Despite the disorganization, I actually give them some credit though for stressing out and trying to squeeze in one more job on the wrong day to avoid disappointing a customer.

  • I bought the Fountain Light through the Miami Store, 2015. My contractor picked it up at warehouse. I was not home as they hung it, even though they looked at it while at warehouse it was not apparent that filament was tied in knots. I paid them hours to untangle and hang it. All the time being told it wasn't Modani's fault. It remained hanging to see if bends in line would straighten out, which they didn't! They replaced light and threatened to charge me for two lights, since I didn't have anyone to take defective one down. Paid again to have it taken down, paid again to have second one installed, only to find that second one had same bends in plastic line that wouldn't hang out. A customer is unable to know this by opening box and inspecting it. It only becomes apparent after it is hung. I am repeatedly told by Marcia, Cusomer Service Manager that Modani is not responsible for installation, taking down, reinstallation and taking down. All of which would have not been necessary if the original product was not defective. The cost to do this far exceeded the cost of the light. I was given a store credit, not a credit to my account, as requested, so I could deal with a Company that had already cost me an exorbitant amount of money, was rude to me, accepted no responsibility, and I still didn't have a light. Plus, I have tried to order a throw and a bowl, in their catalog, multiple times, only to be told that they are not available, so even this store credit has become an aggravation. One additional thing, I bought this from the store, not their warehouse sale so it should have been perfect. I have tried to put this complaint on their website, but after you type it, it disappears. Customer Service says, "call the store".
