  • It was a great experience. They have a very good office, they are able to get you in for appointment, and they work with you as far as payments and things like that. The office is very clean and modern.

  • Dr. Alvarez was very friendly and professional. I was nervous but he made me feel comfortable and calm. He sent me everything he said he would as far as prices and procedures through e-mail just like he said he would. Staff was excellent. I was very impressed.

  • I had a broken tooth and called Dr. Carroll's office. I was offered an appointment later that day, but chose to go the next day as I was not in any pain. The woman on the phone was extremely pleasant. When I showed up the following morning, she greeted my by name before I even said who I was. I was asked to fill out forms which included a question about how I heard about Dr. Carroll's office.

I was then shortly taken to the dentist chair. Dr. Carroll came in and had obviously reviewed my forms as he was pleasantly surprised that I had found him thru Angie's List. Because it was my first visit, I had x-rays taken while in the chair. I was then taken to another room where they had this hi-tech x-ray machine where you stand and place your chin on a chin rest. I was told to close my eyes and the machine revolved around my head. The result was a comprehensive x-ray of my entire mouth that was available on the doctor's computer immediately. He called me over to the computer and had me pull up a chair. He went over the x-ray in great detail. He took his time and made me feel very comfortable.

I was taken back to the dentist's chair and he explained that I would need a crown on the broken tooth. He noticed that the tooth was a bit jagged so he filed it down a bit in order to minimize any discomfort. It was painless. He also noticed that I needed a filling in another tooth and let me know that he could do that as well. An impression was taken of my tooth and I was told that I would need to come back in a week for a temporary crown, which I did. When I returned he put in the temporary crown in and again, the procedure was painless. I had to return in 2 weeks for the permanent crown. I was told that I shouldn't need anesthesia. As he began to work, he would stop periodically to ask me if I was in pain. Initially I wasn't in pain, however when he put whatever adhesive he used for the crown, I felt a cold painful sensation. At that point, it was too late to give me a shot. He apologized and told me that it would be short lived, so I just dealt with it as best I could. I did have a terrible headache when I left, but I took some Aleve and it took care of it. I was told to wait 3 hours before I ate on the crown (which looks great by the way, just like a real tooth!) It's been 2 weeks since the crown was put in and I haven't had any issues with it.

As far as payment goes, the entire procedure cost $1,400.00. Dr. Carroll's office offers monthly payments thru CareCredit which was a great help. My only thing that I found a bit concerning is that I was not asked for ID at any point during the process. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm scheduled to go back for my filling and a cleaning and I'm looking forward to it and I usually hate visits at the dentist.

  • Dr Carroll has been my dentist for more than 6 years. I visit him regularly at least twice a year. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. His treatment is competent, professional, friendly and his fees are fair! He is willing to work with you on installments. He won't perform unnecessary work. Oh, and he is very concerned about not causing you pain!!!!!

  • It was fast and virtually painless. Finally, I can smile and feel good about it. My only negative was that I was not told exactly what the process would be... permanent dentures vs. crowns... but the result is great anyway. Expensive... $30k. But worth it.

  • He did a great job. His practice is very high tech. It was an expensive process but they worked with me on installments which made it very easy. All of the work is very comfortable. The front office staff is very nice as well and they are good about calling. Parking is easy and wait times are quick.
