    Gotcha Covered Of South Shore
Our company owner had decided to remove the colored vinyl sheets from our office windows and have them replaced with
solar shades. I called three companies and arranged for estimates.
The owner of Gotcha Covered, Clifford Oberg, arrived on schedule and brought his samples with him.  We discussed what  we had in mind.
He showed me the samples that he thought would best service our needs, explaining what each product did and suggested
the solar shade he thought would work best for our office.  He was very prompt on providing his estimate.
I chose his company based on fair price, professionalism and ease of interaction.  Our shades arrived when promised and Mr. Olberg installed the shades himself. He even went so far as to bring in extra help to move my HUGE desk/counter so that the shade on that window would hang perfectly straight.
I was very pleased with the job and recommended him to our other offices.

    Gotcha Covered Of South Shore
Clifford Olberg was very prompt in returning my call for an estimate.  We made an appointment and he arrived on time.
Mr.Olberg brings his samples with him. so I did not have to leave the office to make choices. He took time to explain the different
products available - what each type of blind or shade did. Some looked nicer and some blocked more sun and heat and his suggestions were very knowledgeable and helpful. He took my comments and sent me a complete breakdown with estimates for each product we reviewed.
After reviewing the three different estimates (three companies) I chose Gotcha Covered.
Our shades were delivered within the two weeks promised, and Mr. Olberg installed them himself.  He even came back with extra help and moved my HUGE desk/counter 4 inches away from the window so that the shades would hang smoothly to the floor.

    New View Blinds and Shutters
Best blind install we have ever paid for. Came out, measured, and provided us with a quote. About ten days later, came and installed the blinds. No fuss, no mess, all blinds fit the windows perfectly. Truly nice experience delivered by a company I would do business repeatedly. The appointment times were made and kept.

West Coast Shutters & Sunburst Inc
Met with the Owner at the job site in Sun City Center, 4 months ahead of intstallation and she demostrated some neat features of the shutters that we were unaware of, and provided an estimate. We ordered these 30 to 45 days ahead of our move and provided the shades of paint that we wanted in each room.   About a week ahead of the installation they confirmed the date and time.
On the installation day, they arrived on time, installed the shutters, demonstrated the correct way to open them, and left some spare slats and touch-up paint.  The were very professional and I would recommend them to anyone that would like a great shutter installed correctly.

He made sure I approved what he did, and then moved onto the next project.
Before he left, her cleaned and picked up  all cartons and work materials....
Was a joy to get these projects completed  so fast and out of the way!

    Shutters & Blinds Manufacturing
When we first called for an estimate... we played telephone tag with Kim. We found that the Hillsborough telephone number provided in the advertizement went to voice mail every time we called. We've always had to leave a voice mail both before the purchase and after the install.

Kim came a little late on the day she came for the estimate and was apologetic. She competently took the  measurements and answered a number of questions for me. She also gave me the name of a former customer in our area that I called while she waited. I agreed to have her company complete the work and signed the contract. Kim completed order on 10/26/11 and advised me John would get back to us when the order was ready for install.

John called about 3 weeks later and scheduled the install for 11/21/11 just shy of four weeks since the order... per the contract. The installer, Triston came ontime and did an abolutely wonderful installation of the blinds and valances. He was here about an hour and a half or so. When he completed the work, we did a walk through to check everything... and I noted a cosmetic defect in the largest blind. When the blind was manufactured... the "ladders" (the upright material strings on the blinds)... were unevenly spaced. It didn't seem to affect how the blinds worked but I didn't want to keep it like that. Trinston indicated, "he would complete a repair order for it and leave the defective blind in the window for now. He said, John would contact me when the new replacement was ready for install, in about two weeks. Triston requested payment in full and when I said, I would be happy to pay for everything in full except an amount relative to the defective blind... he called John and John said, "he could collect all of the balance except $50. He indicated they would collect the last $50 balance whe they returned with the repaired blind. We agreed to that and I paid  $317 (including the initial down payment) with a $40 labor cost going directly to the installer. When I hadn't heard anything by mid December I called Kim and had to leave a voice message for her. She called back within 24 hours and advised us they were trying to get all of their orders out for customers in time for the holidays... which was understandable. When I told her Triston had indicated it would be about two weeks to receive the new blind, she seemed to get upset and said, "the installers had no authority to give customers dates!" After she checked with John, she called me back and said, "they didn't have a repair order". I said, I'd be happy to fax her a copy of the one Triston the installer left with us and she said, "that wouldn't be nessesary... she would just complete another one and they would get back to us about it after the holidays.

By about mid January, having not heard from John... I called and once again, I had to leave another voice message. To date, I still have not heard from Kim or John as a follow-up. At this point, I'm gratefull, I didn't pay the total amount due when the blinds were installed... and that there was at least a $50 deduction made at that time. I would have liked to have had a repaired blind and feel I have been more than accomodating in waiting for "after the holidays" to receive it (It's now Feb 2, 2012).

At this point, I give up... I'll take the $50 deduction and live with the defective blind. I don't want to spend one more moment playing telephone tag and believing this company will make good on completing the order. The other blinds they installed were a good product for the price contracted... and the installation was superb, but the follow-up communication and promised repair leaves a great deal to be desired. Our experience could have just been a fluke.... it was during the holiday period, anything is possible. Unfortunately, my experience will not allow me to rate it better or recommend this company.

Our first experience with Williams Window Treatments was 2 years ago, when Pam came out to give us an estimate for plantation shutters for our 3 bedroom windows. We were extremely impressed with her knowledge, professionalism, suggestions, and pleasant manner. She gave us several choices... all were high quality shutters that were made in the USA. We chose composite wood plantation shutters which cost approximately $1000. They were made to order and installed by Pam’s husband Robert. The shutters needed to be slightly adjusted after they were installed; Robert was prompt in returning to do the adjustments, and the shutters have been perfect ever since. Thus, it was a no brainer to ask Pam to come back out when we did some renovations and added a new sliding glass door to our home. The roller shades she suggested are absolutely wonderful and worth every penny we paid. They were made to order, are Hunter Douglas, made in the USA, and have a lifetime warranty. Even better, we know that if we ever have a problem with them, we’ll be able to count on Pam and Robert to fix it for us.

Horrible. The installers delivered carpet that was not the style we had selected. The sales rep was immediately notified of the error. Unfortunately, the installers had already torn out our old carpet, so the rep contacted her Customer Service agents for guidance. She and the customer service agent said they would correct the error at no cost. They directed the installer to install what he brought. They assured me and installer they would replace it with the correct carpet once it arrived. The work order was annotated by me and the installer that the carpet delivered was not what was ordered and that the installation was under protest, done only at the direction of the sales rep and customer service agent and only with assurance from them that it would be replaced with the correct carpet once it arrived. After over four weeks without corrective action and complaints from me, the rep is now claiming that she ordered the correct carpet and is refusing to replace with the correct carpet.
