  • Awesome - Ken Bridges is my hero !! He is extremely professional in every way - always on time, works to code and cleans up afterwards. Ken transformed our master shower into a show piece - it is now a walk-in shower with no door - absolutely breathtaking !! We were sooooo impressed with our master shower that we've already set a date for Ken to come back and remodel our guest bathroom shower with the same tile !!!!

  • A terrible four month experience!!! Would not recommend Homespaces to others!!! No supervision of sub contractors. Poor workmanship. Wrong cabinets and doors ordered and delivered and I had to pay extra to get the correct materials. Installers were unpredictable. Electrician and plumber did not show up as planned. Mr. Lavelle did not respond to my calls or e-mails in a timely fashion. Expensive granite counter top is rough and Mr. Lavelle would not replace. Power tools missing from the garage. Workman poured left over grout down storm sewer. Dumped scrap tile cuttings in the shrubbery. Carpet to tile transitions are crude and workman chipped porcelain tiles when nailing carpet tack strips. Night before final payment was planned Mr. Lavelle sent a threatening e-mail re placing a lien on our property if we did not pay in full in the AM .

  • Bernie, the owner was there at each step. The painting was excellent, the hard floor instillation was performed by two brothers who are very talented and polite. I could always reach Bernie with any questions. My kitchen and bathroom cabinet is absolutely beautiful. I almost wish I had another house for him to fix up for me.

  • Always responsible answering calls and coming here. We had fans going on for weeks, and he realized we had another leak in the foundation. Another company fixed that and he came back and redid my bathrooms. He also helped me with my insurance company. We're getting ready to re-do my kitchen and I'm going to use him because he was so honest.

  • Our initial contact was by accident when we saw the slabs of granite from the road and decided to investigate.
We were given several samples of granite to bring home - which made all the difference in our choice.
We needed more cabinets added to our island and that was accomplished better than I expected.
The granite - emerald pearl - is beautiful, and the job was well done.

  • I've used them two times already for myself and also to help somebody. I'm going to be using them in August this year to remodel my bathroom. They are just very good and very efficient. I did most of the construction and they did the install. They are very good, efficient and quick. I'm very satisfied with them and I referred them to several other people.

  • In late July 2010 we noticed that water was soaking the carpet in the walk-in closet adjacent to our master bathroom shower. Eventually it was determined that hairline cracks in shower pan were the cause of the problem. In order to replace the shower pan, the entire shower had to be dismantled. Once it was dismantled the repairman determined that the original shower pan had been improperly installed--there was insufficient support beneath it--and thus it cracked. (He has photos.) Dismantling the shower caused a further problem: one of the cultured marble panels broke. The reason it broke was, again, improper installation. It had been affixed with liquid nails. (The repairman asked Bailey Industries why they used liquid nails since in his experience that was unusual. They responded that that?s how they always do it. He then asked how they remove the panels to fix a problem. The response, ?We don?t?.) Since all of the original work had been done by Bailey?s when the house was built, a panel of the original marble was brought to them for the purpose of manufacturing a MATCHING replacement panel. The repairman was assured that the pattern was familiar and could be matched. BUT IT DOESN?T MATCH! Neither the background color nor the pattern is the same. If it were impossible to match the original, we should have been so informed at the outset. The shower was reassembled while we were out of town. Upon our return on Sept. 26, 2010 we noticed immediately that the new marble panel did not match the original in either background color or pattern. Both the repairman and I have had numerous contacts with the company. They refuse to accept any responsibility. The expense and disruption to our lives was not limited to the bathroom. The carpet in the walk in closet, as well as a six foot section of California closet, had to be replaced--all as a result of an improperly installed shower pan. . . Total cost: almost $5,000!
