ASignature Construction GroupFantastic Group! We hired Signature Construction Group to renovate our condo. We were not onsite and basically had to trust Jacob and his team. The end result was great. We are so happy with the renovations and could not be more pleased with Jacob. He is a general contractor and handled everything for us, including all required permits and inspections. Great communication and always kept us informed about the status of the project. When the time comes for us to renovate our bathrooms we will be calling Jacob. ASignature Construction GroupHire Jacob and his team! We met with several contractors in the area. After meeting Jacob we knew he was the right man for the job. Our condo needed a complete renovation. Jacob spent about an hour and a half listening to what we were hoping to do. He took measurements and then returned for another hour + to go over his plans and costs. His price was more than fair for the work that we wanted. Due to the pandemic, we were stuck back in New York when the work began. We were unable to get down to Florida to select materials. Jacob sent me pictures and information for what he envisioned. I was nervous because I couldn’t be there but I grew to realize that I needed to place my trust in him and began letting him select what he thought would be best. Jacob was always reachable, sent progress pictures and kept us updated throughout the process. Upon our return to Florida, when we walked through the front door, all we could do was smile. It was stunning. Jacob transformed a 1970’s condo into a beautiful home. He and his team knocked down walls, removed popcorn ceilings, laid flooring, did electric work and built us a stunning kitchen, dining and living room. We are SO happy with Jacob and his team. Neighbors throughout our entire development are asking to see our condo because everyone is talking about how beautiful it is. And many neighbors have already asked for his business card. APaint Works Pro, LLCI would recommend Benjamin and his crew without hesitation. They did an outstanding job of painting the interior & exterior of my home. Paint Works was prompt presenting the estimate which detailed the scope of the work to be done, starting the job on time and finishing exactly as stated. During the 2 1/2 days they were here the entire crew was very professional and courteous, working together to do necessary repairs, painting and cleaning up well beyond my expectations. The team validated needs and explained process efficiently, utilizing plastic for blocking off area to minimize dust and debris to other areas. APainting with a SmileMiguel is excellent! He is a master at drywall repair and an incredible painter. I am used him numerous time. He has done everything from repair drywall (and match knockdown!) to fixing a bad paint job done by another company...and everything in between. He is fast and efficient, while being mindful to take care of the workspace...and if there is ever an issue, he will address it promptly and make it right. BI'll start this review by saying that Kevin does great work. He stays in contact and shows up bright and early and ready to get started. He works non-stop all day until the job is completed. He and his crew are friendly and clean the work area well when the job is finished. My only advice to others looking to hire him would be to watch his quotes carefully. He starts out with a reasonable price but after the job has begun, his price grows quite more than what was originally agreed upon. The excuse given is usually the price of materials have gone up, followed later by a little complaining about how difficult the job was to finish. First of all, when I hire a professional I expect them to know the current price of materials BEFORE they give a quote and they should always expect to run into some unforeseen issues along the way. Paying a bit more for this situation is understandable if it is justified and within reason. I hired Kevin to replace an old chain-link fence with a new wood one, this job went very smoothly, no issues at all. They finished the job very fast and I was quite happy with the end result. Next he was hired to repair a wood framed chimney chase which was damaged over the years from rain. The original quote was $2500 but he said it might be "slightly" higher if more wood rot was discovered after he started the repair, which happened to be the case. The final price was $4000, which I thought was a bit more than "slightly" higher Still the repair was completed on time and I was pleased with his work. He was then hired to put a new new roof on my parents home. His original quote was $11,000, but after he received a deposit for materials he later came back and said the price of materials have gone way up and needed more money, next he started complaining about how tough the job was to complete because it was an older home and the roof wasn't exactly square. There were also many nails that had to be pulled from the existing roof which took him longer than expected to complete. The final price $14,900, once again quite a bit more the slightly higher. Like I stated earlier, Kevin is dependable and does top-notch work but you should expect to pay quite more than his original quote. Even though I'm happy with the work he did, I will be looking elsewhere for someone to handle future projects.
