    The process to log in the work order on line took 10 mins. The repair company schedule the repair in 2 hours. They came as promised, on time , and fixed the dryer the next day. I could not do without the peace of mind of having this Choice Home Warrenty to protect the appliances. No more worrying about searching for the right contractor and the small co-pay makes it so affordable.

    I called JS Appliance Repair Service to repair my LG Washing machine. They came out and gave me a written estimate of $400+ to replace the board., which they would have to order. He said it might be better to buy a new machine instead of putting that much money into this machine. My grandson said he could easily replace the board so I ordered one, for $162. My grandson installed it and the machine was doing the exact same thing. My grandson further inspected it and said it was probably a water pump that it needed. So I ordered that for $59, he installed it and the washer it as new. I asked JS Appliance for a refund of my $50 for the service call, which was totally diagnosed wrong and they refused. They said because I fixed it myself and if you read the fine print they would not refund my money. The point is I paid for a service call/diagnosis which was totally diagnosed wrong. Isn't this their business and shouldn't they have given a correct and accurate estimate? For good customer service they should have refunded my $50. Their response was also not very customer friendly stating "because you took it upon yourself to fix, the loss is on you". I am sure that if I had let them fix it they would have charged me for the board and came up with finding an additional problem with the pump after they determined the board was not the problem. I would bet the final bill would have been $600+, due to their inept trouble shooting. Stay away from this company, they are not customer friendly nor are they able to diagnose problems accurately, which is their business.

    This company came out to do a repair on our refrigerator (black specs in the water and ice). The technician (Marcus) diagnosed the problem and we asked, "What happens if your diagnosis is incorrect, we spend all this money and it isn't fixed?" He said just to call him (Marcus) directly and he would come back to repair the problem properly without another service call. He did the work and we paid the company. A couple weeks later we noticed the refrigerator leaking slightly and the problem still not fixed. We called back and texted him - he said he would return. We waited and waited, he never did contact us. After a few months of just living with it we finally gave up on him and called the company directly. Their owner said we shouldn't have listened to his employee and should have called the company directly. Because we followed his employees instructions and didn't call the company he rudely said we waited too long and they won't come back without charging another service call and we'll have to pay for all additional charges. These are dishonest people - don't take a chance and don't believe them.

    Called and scheduled an appointment for them to come out between a certain amount of hours on a specific day. Took off from work, and they did not show. When I called to inquire why, they told me they left a message to have me call back and confirm appointment, which was not true. There was no message. Then they said they never took my address down, which wasn't true. It was the first thing they asked, to see where I was located. It made me uncomfortable that he was arguing with the customer. I used another local service and was out pay for the day from not working.

    The purchase in the showroom went fine. The trouble started with delivery and installation. Three weeks before delivery Jetson called to set up a delivery time. They showed up on time, but didn't have either the dishwasher nor microwave on the truck. When they installed the range and refrigerator, they tore at the plastic wrap so quickly that it tore and left bits and pieces stuck all over the place. We're still finding bits of plastic wrap in and around the seams of the appliances. The range was installed level, but a full 1/4" above the counter tops. They refused to lower it any further. A week later they came back to install the microwave and dishwasher. When they installed the dishwasher drain hose onto the garbage disposal they dislodged the disposal from the mounting ring. A plumber had to be brought in to fix that. Since we found the anti-tip bracket taped inside the oven after the first time they were here, we asked that they install it. Jetson's installers said, "Those brackets aren't needed so we don't install them." I immediately called the store and spoke with our salesman. He said the same thing about the anti-tip bracket not being needed, but offered to have them install it for an additional $40. I pointed out that Samsung clearly states in the user manual that the range and oven should not be used without the anti-tip device installed, and that since Jetson is a Samsung dealer they're clearly violating Samsung's installation instructions. He then instructed the installers to install the bracket from free. However, the installers refused to drill into our tile floor and said they would only install it into the drywall. Since that wouldn't firmly hold the bracket, I refused to let them install the anti-tip bracket. They also refused to lower the range any closer to the counter tops. After they left, I used a masonry bit in a hammer drill to install the anti-tip bracket into our floor. I then lowered and re-leveled the range so it sat less than 1/32" above the counters. I siliconed the gap. The microwave is vented outdoors, but the suction is very weak. We had Jetson come out to look at that. The technician said our installation was good and that we actually had one of the better drawing vents he'd seen for a Samsung. It will barely hold up a dry paper towel. He suggested we contact the sales department and swap out a different brand of microwave "since Samsung is notorious for poor venting on these units." We're still undecided about that.

    Terrible. My 18mo old Kenmore Elite broke down and I was told by repairman that the compressor was broken. This was on Sept.2, 2017. Today, Sept. 22, 2017, after numerous phonecalls and innumerable bags of ice, 3 coolers later,4 broken appts later, they finally told us they may have the parts and I may get my refridg on Sept 27, 2017.The repair Dept was impossible. Most speak only with heavy accents they refused to let me speak to someone who spoke better English. One speaker told me he was in the Phillapines! The product was terrible and service horrendous. Don't Buy!!!

    Great. The young man was on time and found the problem right away. He suggested we not replace the ice maker bit give his "fix" a chance to work. He said the service charge would be credited against the repair if we had to call them back in next two days. Very fair. And everything is working just fine.

    Dryer Vent Specialist

    My dryer wasn't drying efficiently, taking two hours or more to dry one load of towels.  A friend had mentioned that cleaning the dryer vent was the answer. So at 4:50 on a Saturday afternoon, I called DVS to see if I could get an appointment for Monday since I had already taken time off from work for that day.  Jim Adams, the owner, answered the called and said he could work me in for first thing Monday morning.  He showed up exactly when he said he would.  He first looked at the back of the dryer and saw that it wasn't connected properly to the outside vent; he cleaned what he could from that angle and made the correct connection.  He then examined the interior vent of the dryer, cleaning and testing for fabric softener build-up.  After all of that, he went to the roof where he removed a very large piece of petrified lint and then thoroughly cleaned the vent.  When he started, there was no air flow from the vent, but there was plenty when the cleaning was completed.  From start to finish, the job probably took an hour.  Jim was very personable and very accommodating to my schedule.  I will definitely use DVS when my vent needs to be cleaned again.

    The refrigerator in the garage was creating condensation all over the inside because one door would not close correctly.  The repairman arrived, never introduced himself, just walked into the garage, looked at the refrigerator, moved some shelves - said they were in the wrong place, there was really no repair done and charged us $89.00.  Even if it had just been a service call charge we would have felt better about it but to charge $20.00 to move a few shelves is crazy!  We were very turned off by both his manner and his ridiculous price to essentially do nothing but show up. We only found out his name when he handed us the bill.  Would not recommend this company.

    Gary arrived on time and went right to work. He laid out towels to keep the work area clean.  He determined that my water line to the water dispenser was not frozen as I had assumed.  I had tried to melt the ice that I had assumed formed in the water line with a hair dryer and ended up deforming the dispenser arm which caused the ice dispenser to stop working as well.  Gary was able to use a shim to get the ice dispenser to work again. He then determined that the valve which supplies water to the ice dispenser only was no longer working.  He replaced the faulty valve and my water dispenser was working again.  While he was behind the refrigerator, he cleaned the coils as preventative maintenance. I would definitely recommend calling Gary if you need a large appliance repaired.
