ANew View Blinds and ShuttersWe contacted Peter Sciortino of New View and he was immediately responsive. When we met, we explained we didn't want vertical blinds as we wanted to be able to maintain as much visibility as possible due to the great view of the backyard in our recently acquired home. Peter suggested retractable horizontal shades so we could use them at night for privacy but retract during the day for the view and access. As always, we shopped other vendors and found that New View's offerings were comparable in quality but at significant savings for us. Once we contracted for New View's services, Peter kept us apprised of when we could expect installation. True to his word, the product was received in a timely manner and installed the day after he received the shades. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Peter has been a delight to work with from start to finish; we wouldn't hesitate to use his services in the future!- Allen N.

AAl's Window Tinting & Custom Window TreatmentsWe had an usual request for double roller shades (needed black-out and sheer options) and spoke to several companies. Maria and Al were one of the few who understood what we were trying to do and found the right blinds for us. The Installation had a small glitch but they worked with the manufacturer for a quick resolution. Their Installation Team was the best! ANew View Blinds and ShuttersPeter was great! He was very professional. He carefully measured our windows and gave us choices of the types, colors, and finishes for the blinds. He even managed to fit a blind for the 12" sidelight by our front door (I thought we would have to go back with another mini blind, but he managed to go with a regular blind). He wore a mask throughout both visits, without our asking. His prices weren't the lowest, but we were impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his products. He explained that it would take about 2 weeks to get the blinds manufactured. He called and installed them himself almost exactly on the anticipated day. They are beautiful! Much better than the old verticals & minis we had! I like that he does his own work, rather than subcontractors. I definitely recommend New View blinds.- Gail K.

AAIH Custom Window TreatmentsJeff, the owner, consulted on various options for our new home. We decided on 8 - 4 1/2 inch shutters with 4 sided delux frame (with sill frame; ultra close geared tilt system and divider rails. We also purchased 5 custom window treatments. In my previous home we purchased our treatments from the builder recommended vendor. AIH treatments are by far higher quality. I did get a bid from the builder recommended vendor...their bid was $500 higher. Cost for AIH shutters $2998. This is a tax exempt purchase. Cost of AIH custom window treatments $2684.63. This is a taxable item...tax included in the price I listed. Justin, their installer, is HIGHLY skilled and VERY professional. They need to clone him.- Diane B.

Joe knew exactly what would be best for me and met my budget. They had a wide variety of colors and styles to choose from. Who know there were even different ways to close a shade! FI needed the siding/gabels repaired/replaced on both sides of my house. Aaron came to my house to provide a quote. He was very professional and seemed extremely knowledgeable of the work that needed to be done, I accepted his quote and we agreed to a start timeframe via email. When the time to start the project came, I didn't hear from Aaron, so I sent an email to reach out. He responded and informed me that he was unable to complete the project. I find this extremely unprofessional. If he was unable to do the project, he should have reached out to me in a timely fashion, I shouldn't have had to reach out to him when the project was schedule to begin. He mentioned that the reason that he was unable to complete the project was that his helper was no longer able to help in this project, for a company that does repair work, I find it odd that he only has one helper that he relies on. Also, to completely cancel last minute and not try to work with me and reschedule is also unprofessional. Because he seemed knowledgeable and provided a good quote, I was willing to wait for his schedule to open up as he said he was booked - I waited a month and a half for the project to begin. I was very patient and didn't pursue any other qualified companies as I was relying on Aaron's company to do the work that he agreed to. Now I am in a bad position, trying to find someone else and not have to wait much longer to get this work complete. I would recommend looking around for someone else to do work before accepting work by Aaron.

AWe could not be happier with our new custom cellular shades. The owner -Larry was extremely helpful- knowledgeable and assisted me without being pushy in replacing shades that were not fitting our needs (Needed more privacy others were to shear) We replaced the Bally blinds with lift and lock cellular shades (3). The quality difference is remarkable. The shades are by the Vista line and the difference in not only appearance -but the quality is by far better than what was installed seven years ago. There were a number of shades to pick from and once again Larry was not pushy but helpful listening to what I wanted in regards to colors and texture. He wasn't the cheapest company but for what we got I am so glad we decided to go with statewide blinds and shutters as we sure got The very best all around....and much much more- remarkable service.

Brad and Rustin were very knowledgeable and patiently helped us determine the best window coverings for our condo. Brad answered our call immediately when we inquired about an installation date and the shutters we ordered were delivered on time. On the day of the installation, it was like watching a work of art being created before our very eyes. Brad and Rustin carefully installed the shutters and cleaned up as they worked. They were very courteous and even moved the furniture back when they finished. You could not even tell any work had been done...except for the gorgeous shutters they installed!
