AMetropolitan Moving & StorageMetropolitan Moving Co was stellar in every way for our interstate move. Their moving associates were efficient, skilled, friendly and careful. We moved from a multi-floor house and had some heavy, big furniture pieces. Here is how they excelled: - Their estimator was very experienced and quickly evaluated our job. His estimate of our space requirements was correct. The actual price was exactly right. - They delivered used boxes and new tape/bubble-wrap to our door for our pre-move packing - They arrived to pack early and were done early. They arrived at our destination on designated day/time and efficiently unloaded to storage. - They carefully wrapped each furniture piece - They expertly used the moving van and storage space to carefully fit in as much as possible - When we had a few too many items to fit in one moving van (as they had predicted) they offered temp storage and moved them to us on the next van to FL (at very reasonable cost) - Nothing broken, damaged or scratched. When it was time to move from storage to our Florida home, I wish I could have used Metropolitn again! The Florida movers couldn't stop mentioning how well everything was wrapped and packed. Yup, Metropolitan was a rock star in their eyes. Moving can be a stress-filled time, especially since we had to move right as DC became "locked down" for the 2020 Pandemic; but, Metropolitan made this move as stress-free as possible and I highly recommend them to any of my DC friends who are moving.- Kris O.

ALet's Get MovingI used this company for the first time. The movers were polite, efficient, and expedient. In particular, Josh R. was able to help minimize my concerns when moving my larger furniture pieces upstairs. I really didn't think the large pieces would fit up the winding staircase. He ensured that he and his coworkers understood my concerns and handled the move beautifully and with finesse. I would definitely use this company again. ALet's Get MovingBEST MOVERS I have ever hired. Two Thumbs Up!! Moving Manager Theron, Movers Jacquez, Aaron and Sales Directors Ernie were all incredibly professional. A three story house of furniture and boxes and other items were moved without a scratch! They had to go up and down circular stairs wrapped with mirrors and they never touched the mirrors. They were very careful with every piece of the move. They had all the right equipment and moving blankets for the heavy items. I was super confident that they would not damage anything. They showed up on time, they called me to communicate every step of the process and they replied to emails immediately. I called them at 2 in the morning the night before and they answered! and were super courteous and addressed my concern at 2 am. They were incredibly friendly and polite and answered all my questions. I cannot say enough good things about the Let's Get Moving Team. I will hire them for any move from now on. They were a little more expensive but SO SO worth it. Cannot say enough good things about this company and the employees.- Migdalia A.

ALet's Get MovingThe Moving Professionals, Theron C. and Jacques H. called ahead to let me know they’re enroute, arrived on time, very courteous and respectful. These gentlemen listened to my furniture concerns, handled furniture like it was their own, and both were hardworking by hustling both at origin and destination addresses. Even helped with relocating an odd piece of furniture upon arrival at destination location. Use of wardrobe boxes for free is a perk as other companies will charge. This is my second time using Let’s Get Moving. Fair pricing, hardworking gentlemen, respectful, friendly customer service when calling to receive a quote as well as answered all questions for pre-move without feeling rush. FIt was horrible. The manager on duty for the move was lazy, slow, rude, and totally obnoxious. I contracted with this company to move my furniture in to my new house. These people were the worst moving company i ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They constantly argued with me about time, even though I had agreed to pay more money if this was going to be overtime. They were rude and obnoxious when we asked them to do anything. They charged me $60 for 1 cardboard box and did not properly explain the charges and rushed me in to signing a contract of service. This company is a scam artist, find something better.

AI found White Glove while reading reviews for other moving companies I had gotten estimates from and I am so glad I did. Their price was reasonable, their service was excellent, they did exactly what they said they would do. They moved me from Long Island to Delaware and were so cooperative in keeping my stuff on the truck for the couple of days it took between closings. The crew was prompt, respectful of both my previous and new home, putting coverings down on the floor and being careful not to damage anything. They packed my things very well, I still have a couple of boxes to unpack but so far everything is just fine. Oh, and they gave me binding estimate and stuck to it!! I can recommend them without any hesitation; my brother is moving soon and I told him to use White Glove and not to bother calling anyone else. I would give them ten stars if that was an option.

AI don’t think there are enough businesses that follow the code of ethics, the golden rule and just kindness/Character the way All Out Moving does!! My original movers cancelled LAST minute, and I was on the web frantically looking for movers. Yep, me and my “very small” budget “Move.” I had spoken to a few other companies before speaking with David, who owns the company. He was kind and although busy; he didn’t make me feel like I was a bother nor an inconvenience because, I was TRULY a last minute move. David took the time to talk with me, l run down my inventory and within a couple of days...I was moved in!! The gentlemen who showed (early) were very respectful and expedient! They truly take their job seriously but they don’t take themselves too serious which I really appreciated. The best part of the story is, I had a very special item left on the truck(imperfect human error) and I didn’t know it. I panicked. I called David and texted one of the drivers frantically looking for my “passed down item.” The driver texted & called me back, telling me he would bring it Monday morning (as my call was on late Saturday evening). Monday morning, I was looking for the driver to show up but it was David! Such a pleasure to meet him in person and shake his hand to thank him(Ladies!!!)! What he did has been lost under greed with other companies. My item wasn’t expensive in the monetary sense, but it was “expensive” in meaning “to me.” I wholeheartedly believe David knew that and that’s why he delivered it in person. Let’s not forget, this was a Monday morning that he took time out of his day, away from his company to deliver something important to me!!! I hate moving and I’m so happy he has a company that he loves and men who enjoy what they do, because he has a customer for life in me! Jackie is fantastic at logistics, and we couldn't ask for a more punctual experience. Moving can be a huge stressor, however the folks at Sunshine Movers made it incredibly less stressful.
