Roofing reviews in Southwest Ranches

Easy from beginning to end, sales rep was on time and knowledgable, gutters were installed 2 weeks later and the crew was on time and professional as well. The quality is excellent and the color matches were perfect. Thank you!

Allied Roofing replaced our roof after Hurricane damage. Their price was in line with other quotes we received. Their planning and quality of work was excellent. Their communication throughout the entire process was impressive. My project manager was in contact with me everyday with updates and schedules. We are very happy with the finished product.

Just terrible, still not finished after 7 months. What is done is very poor quality. At this point we feel that they are not capable of finishing our house, we have no confidence in the work which was done, and feel that we may have to rip out all work which has been done and start all over with a qualified roofing contractor

I could not be any happier with my new aluminum roof from Allied Roofing and Sheet Metal. The quality and workmanship of their product is first class. They were extremely professional in every aspect of the project from the beginning with estimates and options, to instillation and clean up, to final touches. All were committed to ensure I was extremely satisfied which I am not mention the compliments from everyone who sees it. They were a pleasure to work with I highly recommend Allied Roofing and Sheet Metal! You want be disappointed.

Oscar came out to my house. Hes a very nice person who seemed very professional and detailed all the work that he was going to do for us then printed out a very professional proposal. We finally agreed on a price of $400 and to me it was a go. I was very impressed with him and his company. So I phoned him the next day or 2 and left a message on his phone. He didnt return my call. I called twice more. No phone call back. Finally a few days later I phoned the 866 number on his business card. They took the message i was looking to hire him. Again no returned call! Sent him an e-mail with no success. No courtesy of a call back! If he chose not to do the jobs, fine ! Tell me! I totally do not understand any of this. I have never had to write a bad review for anyone and Im really sorry to write this one. He probably does good work. But So much for professionalism. I have since hired another company.

Horrible lack of communication. I called Splash because they had so many great reviews on Angies List. I've subscribed to AL for more than 6 years; when I had to pay for a subscription. Joe answered my first call about 4 weeks ago. I told him the 2 addresses and what I needed done. I told him that the HOA was citing me for a violation, so the work had to be completed. I needed a lot of service including 2 houses pressure cleaned, (roof and exterior), driveway and sidewalks cleaned, and driveway sealed. I also requested gutter cleaning. He said he would come by and quote. After a few days Splash didn't respond so I called again and left a message on Joe's voicemail without response. I then went to the Splash website and used their on-line form on October 29 to request service. I specifically addressed the request to Joe since other reviewers said that he gave immediate and personal service. I left my cell and e-mail address. Today is November 1. Splash hasn't responded. I have to request an extension from the HOA to try and avoid a fine. This is only the second negative review I've posted on Angies List in 6 years. I get no satisfaction from posting negative reviews. I don't have social media accounts. I support local business. But now I face a hearing and a potential fine with the Ridges HOA Board of Directors. I expected better from a company that has over 300 A reviews.

We needed a roof repair and the team at Greenform replaced a portion of the roof and patched it seamlessly. It was more work than we expected was needed but I was very confident in their explanation and felt very comfortable having them do the work. In the end I believe I got a better product than I might have from another company and so far so good everything looks and functions properly. I would definitely use them again.

We needed additional roof repair after our inspection for a pending house sale. After J&K roofing failed to find these problems and/or did not fix them back in December, when we had previous extensive repair done, we hired Lyons. Other than having to wait about 6 weeks for their very busy schedule (backed up by all the rain too), they were phenomenal. The repair men were efficient, courteous and went above and beyond by even painting our fascia for us. I would like to tell everyone, Lyons Roofing was worth the wait!

We had to call them back several times when they did not complete the job we were quoted for. The roofers said they repaired areas that they didnt even touch. The supervisor, Mike, was the only professional and responsible person. Its was too bad he did not do the work. This work was done back in December and the only reason I am writing this review now is Lyons Roofing just came to do additional work, and go over what J & K failed to do. They did everything and then some (inc. painting the fascia which J&K did not). I hired J&K for their superb Angies list review. But it wasnt superb for me. Lyons was.

Earl W Johnston (EWJ) roofing was a model of exceptional service from start to finish. This was particularly refreshing in an industry notorious for fly by night operations. Everyone I dealt with has worked for the company for several years and the person doing the work has worked with EWJ for 22 years. They were not the cheapest in pricing but they were fair and came in hundreds of dollars below the highest pricing but had the highest quality work spec estimate of all (total of 5) company quotes we received and on a second flat roof over a large shed they saved us a $6k re-roof. The quote process was thorough and mike was the only one of several quotes to discover the technique used by the prior roofer had not compromised a secondary flat roof like all the other quotes said since the prior roofer had used glue not nails to secure the two by fours holding decorative tiles to the roof. This one discovery showed the level of diligence common in all my dealings with E W Johnston. The estimate appointment was easy to set up after a call with Lucy and done within 7 days. Mike showed up on time, was courteous and engaging, and took his time to do things right. The quote was the most comprehensive I received out of all the estimates and it included all their licensing and insurance information; mike also answered all my questions on permitting(btw you can see EWJ invests in its processes and people because they were the only company with tablets and a printer in their truck so my quote was printed). I also noticed the company trusts its estimators because they include the phone and email for the estimator on the estimate so you can follow up directly with them for questions; this turned out to be a key point in us deciding to award them the job because mike was able to answer my questions or return my calls (4) quickly compared to the other companies whose offices were not aware of the details of the quote or not invested enough to defend or explain the materials or process used in the quote. Can you imagine what a nightmare things could become during the job if you are not on top of things during the quote process? Anyway Mike was on top of things, did both, and was able expedite our repair within 2 days of calling to let him know he won the contract. There was some disconnect here and there with the office but mike kept things on track and returned calls(3) promptly to get me in contact with Walter their roof repair project manager. There was a steady amount of rain but Walter kept schedule by sending Glen and Tony who arrived promptly and had a copy of the contract. Glen validated the estimate was accurate with no problems by walking the roof again and going over the trouble spots in more detail; it was raining so I made a decision the day was just not right for doing the roof repair due to lightning so glen called the office and Walter agreed to reschedule for the next day. They arrived bright and early the next day which had no rain and got to work. Glen was fabulous to work with he was knowledgeable and engaged all my questions and issues; the answers I got from him were worth every penny extra I paid compared to the cheaper quotes. His assistant Tony was quick and hard working and he and Glen finished my two major repairs in 7-8 hours including taking up old roofing, cutting out old ply board, installing new ply board, Laying new subroof material, then applying GAF roof material which was not the new less quality, in my opinion, peel and stick GAF. They then walked the roof to replace broken and cracked tiles and waterproofed and sealed the edges of the flat roof and cleaned the leaves in the area they were working on at my request. These gentlemen were simply amazing and worked all day and didn't even leave for lunch due to them trying to beat the rain scheduled to star in the late afternoon. It' turned out it did not rain until the morning of the next day which was perfect. Overall this was a great experience and the work has a 1 year warranty. Also key is that the company has two departments one for roofing repairs and one for new roofs or re-roofing; this was a great decision and investment by the owner so repairs don't get lost in the shuffle. According to my estimator all workers are fully employees of the company and covered by their insurance which was important for us so if there was a problem they could find the person who did the work and have accountability. The company also seems to care for its employees which is reflected in how its employees treats their customers and thew work they perform.
