    Thomas Mixa MD
Dr. Mixa is the most unprofessional medical personnel that I have met. I have been a nurse well over 25 years and have never witnessed such a horrific display. I feel this physician is a fraud and should not be allowed to perform surgery. One hour before my husbands knee surgery, my husband wanted clarification of his procedure. There were procedures on the consent that were not discussed. Dr. Mixa stormed into the prep area threw a pen at my husband, yelled at him and stormed out the room without allowing him to even say a word. Where is his Hippocratic Oath??!!! I am glad my husband did not have surgery. There is no telling what he would have done to his knee. After reading all the reviews over the internet, I am thankful it did not happen. Please read all the reviews on this physician before you let him touch you!!!!

    Reese, Dr. Karen L.
On my first visit, she spent a great deal of time discussing my symptoms and assessing my issues.    On her own time, after the initial meeting she reviewed my x-rays and then on the second visit spent considerable time explaining my problems to me in terms that were understandable.
The best news is that she did adjustments to my spine and neck and my pain level is much better.
This is pain that has haunted me for years so to have it reduced so much is a miracle.
I have been to many chiropractors but her techniques are unlike any that I have seen before and the results are much better than I had ever gotten with any other doctor.   I suspect that is because she took so much time up front to correctly assess the situation and develop a plan for my body.
She is a very good doctor.

    Ellis, Dr. Tom
I would recommend him. I guess he was not the most detailed or thorough, but he was good and I think that he treated problems and the symptoms. I would go back to him unless I found or had a recommendation for somebody who is outstanding, I would consider changing, but I would continue with him for the time being. The staff is very, very kind. It is a small practice, it's him and a couple of other people in the office. He was good, he listened, and treated, but I don't feel like he gave me a whole lot of personal feedback or direction. I was expecting to pay a lot more and I guess he was able to bill it to the insurance.

I called this morning to get an appt and expected to wait at least a week since I would be a new patient.  The first nice surprise I got was when they asked me if I could come in today - of course I said yes!  I filled out my paperwork when I got there and I had barely sat back down in the waiting room before they called me back to see Dr Sandefur.  He was very nice and listened attentively to me.  He took xrays on site; he explained very clearly what he saw and what he wanted to do.  My next appt is later this week so it's too soon to tell how effective this will be but I'm very satisfied with my first experience here.

    Wang, Dr. Yue
My first treatment was very successful, infact I enjoyed a deep sleep during the treatment. I awoke feeling relaxed and the sharp pain in my hip was considerably less. That night I slept 5 straight hours without waking. She prescribed an herbal supplement to detoxify my liver.(Dr Wang explained in Chinese Medicine the liver is the organ that holds emotions) I had a catastrophic family event several months ago that prescription sedatives and sleeping pills were not giving me any relief from anxiety or insomnia. I have had 3 treatments to date all with positive results. My 87 year old Mother has begun treatment with Dr Wang and has experienced relief from several physical ailments. The staff and Dr Wang are extremely pleasant making the overall experience an A++++!

I was happy with my experience. Everything was great, the people were very nice. The doctor I had was Dr. Brett Bolhofner. He was really thorough and answered any questions. He took his time and is very knowledgeable with a lot of experience in hip replacements.

Overall I would HIGHLY recommend using Linda.   She really made me feel comfortable and after the massage was over I felt really good!  I can't wait to go back under better circumstances and get the full treatment....

    Ellis, Dr. Tom
He was covered by my health care insurance and he no longer is one of my providers.  That's why I haven't been to anybody else.  I really liked him.  He is off my plan.  His office is pretty laid back and that really worked for me.  He was fine.  He was professional and efficient.  He was on my insurance plan so that's why I started going to him.  He was a pleasant guy.  I am really sorry he is not on my plan.  I'd be back but with the insurance being what it is I can't do it.  Billing was covered by my insurance so I didn't have to get involved with it.  If it were picked up, I would be there today.  It's school insurance so it's not going to happen.  They do cover chiropractic care, but it's a very limited selection.

    Woloshuk, Leta
I chose The Art of Massage because of the many positive reviews on Google. I've found those reviews were correct. Leta, the owner, is a true professional. She's sincere and sweet, and inquires what kind of massage I prefer. I told her about my headaches and soreness, and asked her to help me remember what loose relaxed muscles feel like. And she has done an excellent job helping me. She has  warm strong hands that seem to intuitively know of the knots and trigger points deep within my muscles, and is very conscious of client comfort at the same time.  And she has a fabulous padded massage table, with heat if desired, and she prepares the table using thick clean sheets and soft blankets. I enjoy each massage very much. The location is within an adorable courtyard in Gulfport, and Leta's husband, a craftsman and artist, helped her make the massage studio unique and inviting.
The most important part of this review: I FEEL MUCH BETTER NOW. My headache frequency was lessening by the second massage, and this month I  had only one small headache. I sleep better at night, no longer being awakened by soreness requiring me to reposition myself yet again. These days my muscles rarely ache, if at all. THE OVERALL QUALITY OF MY DAY TO DAY LIFE HAS IMPROVED. I'm very grateful to Leta for her good work.
Oh! One more thing: My right eye was always a tad lower than my left eye. None of us are perfectly symmetrical, right? That may be the case, but I disliked how I looked in pictures because of it.  Leta found the muscles of my right face and neck tighter than those on the left, and released them, and my right eye is now even with my left!  This was a benefit from massage that I never thought possible!
5 Stars to The Art of Massage. I highly recommend you try it. It's a gem. Thank you, Leta!

i enjoyed the lengthy massage before my adjustment. however i wish the chiropractor was more gentle and did more soft tissue work. she basically did 3 pops and then i was done. still, one of the better chiropractors i've seen in st. pete.
