    Rotstein, Dr. Michael H.
He performed outpatient surgery by removing the infection, pretty much he removed tissue almost down to the bone on the bottom of my heal. Returned for followups every two weeks and he would remove dead skin but would open the wound wide at the top, he told me that it needed to heal from the bottom up, which made sense and then had me packing the wound firmly. He said it would take about 4 weeks to heal. After 4 weeks it was still pretty deep but he kept cutting away the dead tissue, making the wound wide at the top then taper down. At that time I was told another 4 weeks. at the end of the 2nd 4 weeks I decided that his treatment was not working and went somewhere else and was givin different treatment. First off the packing of the would should not have been so firm, it slowed the healing process (thats what I was told). My wound then healed completely in about 3 weeks. Dr. Rotstein In my opinion, I think is a good Dr. just not in wound care.

    Oliver, Dr. David L.
I found him before years ago. He seems alright except that he would not ever treat anything. He would say just to keep an eye on things and did want to prescribe anything I did not need badly. We stayed together because he talks about my history pretty well. We stay together just because he has a very good bedside manner. Most notably he sent me to the Mayo clinic. While I was in a Mayo clinic, at his direction, he fired me as his patient and did not give me referrals to anyone else other than to say my condition needed care immediately and I should not delay in finding them. I went to another doctor. He has a brand new office, equipment and a huge parking area.

I highly recommend this doctor. My gynecologist was Mary Raum for years and when she retired I did not know what gynecologist to use. I have been very happy with Dr. Obanye. Her staff is very professional and her office does not over book so you do not have much lobby wait time.

    Ocala Family Physicians
I made an appointment because I was sick. I arrived on time and waited in the lobby an hour past my appointment. When I finally was called back the nurse wrote my symptoms and the reason for my visit. She said the doctor would be right in. It took 20 minutes for him to come. When he did show it was obvious he had not read my file. He ask how was I doing and in the same breath, not allowing time for me to respond, he began talking and then asked me why I was there. I felt that was very rude and that he really didn't have an interest in why I was there. My philosophy is a doctor should not ask the patient how are they doing if they are not sincere. If they do ask, wait for a response.
When he came in I was using my iPhone and happened to look at the time and because he was in and out so quickly I looked at my iPhone to see his time spent with me was 3 minutes. The entire time he was in the room I felt as if I was holding him back from doing something else and that I was a bother to him. It was obvious he had not read my file before entering or he would have known why I was there and what my symptoms were. Instead, he failed to address one the symptoms I told him of when asked why I was there plus it was written on my chart. He walked out before I could remind him of it. He told me to wait in the room and he would be back with a prescription. When he came back he stood in the door way, handed me the prescription and told me to take the prescribed medicine and I would feel better then turned and left.
I have had other encounters with this medical facility as I take my brother-in-law there and my mother-in-law there. The facility always overbooks and then runs you through as though you are no more that a warm body that will bring in revenue. Both my brother-in-la and mother-in-law have complained of this. I will not go back and m mother-in-law is seeking a different medical facility. I would not recommend them.
