    Ruthie's Busy Bee Cleaning
Ruthie committed to the job. Set the date to start, so I did not call the others on my list. She took my address. Sounded excited about the job, so I had no reason to believe that days later when I could have had someone else hired she just did not show up. No phone call. Such unprofessionalism. I would have no reason to put my trust in a person who knew she was leaving me on a Thursday without help after I had waited since Tuesday for her commitment to start the job. Especially when I had other candidates for the job and now she has placed me closer to the Holidays, which everyone knows people book up fast. Not reliable and obviously lied to me sadly.

    Cardona's Cleaning Services
PunctuaL to the minute. She's so pleasant and professional. She asked appropriate questions and offered suggestions. The conversation was so very comfortable. She made a plan, then approached the job with an eye to detail. She did everything I asked. Every corner cleaned. Every fixture polished. Every large/medium/small mirror polished. Beds changed out. Fans dusted. She picked each item up, cleaned, and placed it back. I've had many troubles in the past with being unable to readily find items after hiring a new person. Before she left, she walked me through and asked how she could improve her next visit. She is a jewel.

    Sarah Baker
I have been using her for about 5 years. She also works for my sister. She cleans the entire house inside and out if it needs it. She will also bathe the dog. She is a very efficient worker and can complete a cleaning in about 2-3 hours. She is very reliable and I can trust her in my home while I am not there. She brings her own supplies and scheduling is very easy. I would definitely recommend her to others.

    Mc Neal & White Contr
The contract was signed on July 3rd, 2012, with completion to be by August 3rd, 2012.  Marion County Community Services was organizing and paying for the contract with grant money, in my behalf.  The first crew doing the job showed up, was, for the most part acted professional, but their work was nothing but shoddy. After the sub-flooring was put down in the bedroom (the first room), I was surprised to see the worker putting down the linoleum without first leveling the joints and knot-holes in the plywood.  I called the county manager and told him, and he had me give the phone to him and told him directly that the seams and knot-holes were to be leveled.  I thought that was the end of it, and went about my own household duties, leaving him and his crew to continue the job.  I spent most of the time either in the other bedroom in the house, or outside the home, out of their way. When the work was "completed" the first time, I went over it and inspected, and found that still the seams had not been leveled, there were "pot-holes" where the knots had been (they tried to tell me that the glue would harden and fill it up)  There were also many other problems...they were too lazy to move the washer/dryer in the bathroom, so they cut the linoleum short and cut out around it so there was none underneath, all the way up the side and behind it, they got glue on my mom's clothing which was hanging up, they covered a hole in the wall that was cut out as an access door between the bedroom and bathroom (right behind the washer/dryer, in order to hide that work), and even though they were told to do the leveling and filling of knot-holes, it wasn't done.  There were also a couple places where the sub-flooring had not been swept clean, and sharp objects (ie:  sheetrock screws) were trapped beneath.  Also, in moving a piece of heavier furniture (they agreed to do it before the job commenced, because we were unable...I am in a power-wheelchair, and my mom and husband are both over 70 yrs old and not in the best health), and they tried lifting a dresser with a very heavy tv on it, and broke the top edge of the dresser picking it up.  The manager for the job said they would fix it, and replace, but he got fired during the job and one of the owners of the company refused to take care of it, saying that the manager should never have said they could move anything and they weren't responsible for any damages.  The work did NOT pass inspection by the county manager.  The linoleum had to be pulled up and the floor leveled.  This time, they brought in a single guy instead of a crew.  He leveled the floor in most places, trying to save as much of the linoleum as he could, but since they used the absolute cheapest linoleum that Lowes carries, they needed to replace it all.  This guy, puts his foot through a piece of molding in the kitchen and asks me to go along with him telling them that it was unrolled with the tear in it.  I went along with it just to have the job done quickly. It wouldn't really have mattered, because he cut the linoleum 30" short!  So, a new piece of linoleum was ordered, and this time, the pattern didn't even come close to matching, and had to be sent back and re-ordered.  Lowes was then concerned because they couldn't guarantee that the next roll would be a match because it would be a different dye lot, so the whole linoleum part of the job would be a do-over.  After the work was completed, it had a couple minor problems, before it passed inspection, but much of that was corrected.  Now, a couple months after it's been done, the floor has settled in and the glue has totally cured.  There are still a couple places where the floor is not leveled out, there are hairline cracks in the doorway between the hall and bathroom because it was done in one piece instead of two with a strip in the doorway as it was contracted, and there are still a couple places where there are sharp objects underneath.  I am left with these problems, because the county passed the work on inspection.  In the end, it took 99 days from the time I signed the contract to the time the work was completed and passed inspection.  Inspection was done the very next day from completion, so there was no hold up at all in this respect.  During the job, there were dozens of calls, initiated by me, trying to find out if materials had been ordered, when they would be in, when would the work re-commence and left messages all the time which went unanswered.  I had to be just lucky to find the manager in, in order to get the answers I deserved.  The only thing they excelled in was to get here on time...too bad they didn't finish the job on time.  It was contracted to be done in 30 days.  I DO NOT RECOMMEND McNEIL & WHITE CONTRACTORS, INC. and would NEVER hire them to do any work in my home.
