    Excellent. The rocker has been in the family since the 1950s and had definitely seen better days; after Seminole Upholstery worked on it, it looks so good it now has pride of place in the living room. It used to make a terrible noise when rocking but even that has been repaired and it is now quiet and a pleasure to rock in.

    The overall grade would be an A if he had told me as he was installing the microwave that because I didn't have a vent I needed to purchase something else. So, the vent in the microwave that is supposed to get rid of the smoke from the frying, it just blows it right in my face. It doesn't have any kind of filter or anything. There was a piece of equipment that I should have had here and I didn't know about it until too late. So, they just installed it. You know, Sears is pretty good on pricing; they have been going out of business for the last 10 years. I didn't find out I needed it until later and he did not suggest that I needed anything when he was doing the install.

    A few years ago I had them make 4 dresser/table scarves. They had the material I wanted but they refused to put in an interlining as requested and complained because I wanted invisible stitching but I let them do the work anyway and naturally it is difficult to get the scarves to lay properly. This time I wanted a small ottoman reupholstered with foam and batting to cushion it. An elderly woman waited on me but she did all the talking and refused to listen to what I wanted. She didn't want to let me select a fabric that needed to be ordered and she kept interrupting me when I tried to explain what I wanted done. Finally she called over a man (who turned out to be her son). She started to tell him what I wanted and naturally she was getting it all wrong. Finally I said "Lady, you are doing all the talking" and she replied "I always do". The man then told me to leave his store because I can't talk to his mother that way. It should have been obvious to me that they didn't want my business because when I entered the store to son said hello to me and then went back to reading the newspaper. I have some experience in interior decorating and custom treatments and this experience was ridiculous.

    They were on time, they were able to get us in on quick notice. My issue is that they charge a 2 hour minimum to complete a job that they did in 30 minutes. We had two other things on the truck that we asked them to move since they were done so quickly. They did not. I understand that I only contacted them to move the piano, but since I paid them for 2 hours and they were done in 30-45 minutes, it would have been good business to help-considering they are a moving company. I would not recommend them nor use them again.

    He was very good. I'd use him again. He was very pleasant. He gave me extra service. My piano had not been tuned in a long time so it needed to be tuned twice. He did not charge me for the extra tuning. My interaction with them was very pleasant and very good. I'd definitely use them in the future. The work was very good.

    This was a very pleasant experience from start to finish. Gale spent a great deal of time with me as I anguished over fabric. She was very patient and helpful. Once the decisions were made, the fabric was ordered and furniture was picked up. The work was completed in one week and returned to me in pristine condition. Jim did an amazing job and everything looks fabulous. I would definitely recommend Seminole Upholstery and will be using them again in the near future for additional work. Thank you Gale and Jim!

    David was incredibly professional.  Very courteous and polite attitude.  He provided a fair quote and did not have to wait long for an appointment.  David was extremely careful not to damage or get dirty the furniture around the desk he was going to fix.  It was amazing the level of care he took around the other furniture.  He was very knowledgeable on how to fix my desk.  It had badly crushed corners from a terrible delivery company.  David was very skillful in repairing the crushed corners and touched up the rest of the desk.  This was a very large/expensive desk for my law practice and it was amazing seeing David worked with great skill to fix it.  Bottom-line, I would use him again and recommend it to anyone.

    APSCO Appliance - Service & Parts Dept
    The first thing that happened was they damaged the range.  They did give us credit for that.
    The next thing was the dishwasher door would not close.  This had to be handled by GE as the salesperson for APSCO said they were short of help.
    The next thing was the freezer started making a loud noise.  APSCO did send out a person who was in training and he did not know what was wrong.  They had to send someone else out.  He ordered parts but when he came back to install the new parts decided he would have to tear the whole freezer apart.  We did not realize it but after he left the freezer was not working at all.  This was over a weekend so by the time we realized it all of the food had spoiled.
    The next thing is they discovered that the dishwasher was leaking.  It had been damaged and there was a hole in the back of it.  By the time they discovered this it had already ruined the wall behind it.  This is on an island so is right out in the open and very visible. After some time Laura Greco did send over a handyman to repair the wall.  The handyman was terrible and absolutely did not know how to repair it.  Several attempts were made to get someone from APSCO to come and look at the bungled job but with no success.  I finally had to hire a contractor myself to get the wall repaired correctly.  So far APSCO has not payed and will not even respond.

    Richard was very patient in waiting for me to find the right time to schedule the piano tuning.  Many months went by from the time I purchased the deal until I was able to get the piano tuned due to home repairs that took longer than I had anticipated.  Richard did a wonderful job tuning my piano and provided me with some interesting historical information about the age and manufacture of my old family "heirloom."  And the frosting on the cake was listening to Richard play some ragtime piano when he was finished with the tuning.
