    Ed showed up in the window alotted with his helper. He took the unit apart to inspect. his recommendation saved us $400-500. The unit was not worth fixing according to the age and all that it took to fix it. Ed was very knowlegable and told it like it was, very honest.

    I have never used Long Appliances before but tried them when my refrigerator suddenly died. I must say I was impressed with the professionalism and demeanor of both the person who took the call and the technician who responded. The call taker actually took the time to listen to what was going on and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them. The technician who responded shortly thereafter checked the refrigerator and diagnosed the problem quickly. He provided several options and clearly explained what each would entail and the likelihood of the outcome. What really impressed me was the fact that he could have tried to push a temporary fix but did not. I appreciate integrity!! We opted to forgo trying to repair our problem and decided to go out and buy another refrigerator. BUT if any of our appliances break in the future I am definitely calling Long Appliance. I would highly recommend them and would say to other businesses,if you want long term success follow this business's practice.

    Sears Appliance Repair
    The first serviceman said it was the bleach dispenser. It was leaking from the plastic tube from the dispenser. He never ran the washer to see it leaking. He order the parts for the washer and dryer. He doubled bill us . He tried to correct this with sears billing department. He spent more time with the billing department then looking at our machines. He could gives us a bill for the entire job. The second serviceman put in the parts that were ordered. I asked him to show me the crack in the plastic tube. He could not but he still put in. Guess what after a few loads the washer leaked. We called Sears and told them to send someone who knows washers. The third serviceman ran the washer and he found out it was the valves and not the bleach dispenser. We never got a bill telling us the cost of parts and labor.

    ATS ELECTRONIC REPAIR
    Poorly. The first time out, ATS said the unit only needed to be vacuumed. They vacuumed the condenser and left. When called back (nothing was fixed), they said they needed to work on it in the shop. After several weeks, I called and they set up a time to bring back what they said was a fixed machine. They brought it back and it still did not work. In fact, now it dropped no ice whatsoever. They took it back to the shop again. I got the insurance company involved. Finally, everyone concurred that the machine did not work. was it possible that the machine worked while in the shop? Possibly, they set it up there to have cold air blowing on it . In my house, it was in normal conditions. The machine was gone for weeks. The overall experience with them lasted about four months.

    It was very good. I have a protection plan, and it didn't cost us anything. It was like we had a storm, and not only did they took the call and was here the next day.They were perfect. Just that not only did the gentlemen prompt, he knew what he was doing. He got the job done in an timely manner. He cleaned up any problems he created. He was extremely cordial.

    It was good. My dishwasher works. They could work on their customer service. They had to keep coming back because they didn't have the appropriate parts. They had to keep coming back and my schedule is not that lenient it took over the course of 3 weeks.

    We had a leak in our fridge which we noticed on a Saturday morning.  I got onto the List and found several companies that might be able to do the work.  This one came out on Sat. afternoon and fixed the fridge and did not charge us a fee for coming in on the weekend.  They charged a flat rate and gave us a $20 discount for using Angie's List.  They were terrific

    Capital was very responsive. They came out on a Saturday and diagnosed the problem as a broken latch on the washing machine. They ordered the part on Monday and had it installed two days later. Jeff, the repair person was excellent and was very personable. He gave me the feeling that he was very trustworthy.

    Little John's Appliance Repairs
    John came to my home and supposedly fixed the problem. Even sat down and chatted me up about religious matters, which made me feel that he was an honest man. So I paid the $320, even though it seemed a bit steep. After he left I noticed the same problem was still there. I called, texted, and emailed consistently and finally received an answer. He wouldn't stand by his work and I would have to pay $69 more just for him to come back. Needless to say there has been spoiled food and still the freezer doesn't freeze. The only replies I get from their business are very rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't be surprised if they have been paying people to leave them all of these great reviews.
