It went very well. They go the extra mile form. They know my financial situation, and even though their prices are a little higher than elsewhere, they are always available to work with me. Their tow truck driver is like my friend--no matter where I am, I can always depend on him for help if something goes wrong. The staff at the garage is also excellent. I am always confident they will treat me and my vehicle well.

    The Handy Hands
Excellent! Ali did a great job. The first job was to fix the blown out screens after Hurricane Matthew. I kept calling Ali to come back and do more jobs, and he did a great job each time. This is my elderly parents' home, and over the past 10 years or so, lots of jobs around the house have been ignored. So, since October, he has been to the house 6 or 7 times. His prices are excellent, too. I actually offered to pay him more on one job because I thought he was way underpriced! I highly recommend Ali for any/all handman jobs around the house. He cleaned up after each job, too. I will definitely be calling Ali again as my "honey do" list continues to grow! the cost of service is approx total of all jobs he did for us since October. The service dates were multiples from October 2016 to January 2017.

    Details Matter LLC
Excellent job - my car looks great! The attention to detail was A+, even cleaned under the gas flap. Didn't think anyone else was as OCD as I am. They were also very accommodating. Their main concern was that I was happy with the service.

    Wallace Volkswagen
We drove two hours to Wallace Volkswagen in Stuart FL to have our  Golf get its 80,000 mile service.  Their service was excellent!  The price was $300 LESS than Prestige Volkswagen in Melbourne FL for the 80,000 mile service.  We had suspected we were being overcharged at Prestige, but now we know.  We'll never go back to Prestige.  Wallace is HONEST and FAIR!

I telephoned Prestige, where I have had work done on our car in the past, to make an appointment for the 80,000 mile service on our 2011 Golf TDI.  I was told it would be $699.  I asked why it had gone up so much from the cost of the 40,000 mile service.  The service rep said they now build in the cost of the transmission tuneup.  I indicated we have $500 from the VW goodwill package, plus a 10% off coupon, so I figured we'd have to pay maybe $129 out of pocket.  She said no, it would be more.  She proceeded to tell me it would be $699 PLUS tax PLUS "shop fees".  I asked what those were and was told they were charges for gloves and rags, etc., and would run $20 to $25.  So the total would be about $800.
I got off the phone, discussed it with my husband who said it didn't make sense to do a transmission tuneup on our manual car.  I called back to tell her we don't need the transmission tuneup because our car is a manual transmission.  The rep immediately said she was putting me through to a service advisor.  When the advisor came on, I put him on speaker phone.  My husband and I listened as he told us VW recommends the transmission service even for a manual transmission.  I asked what they do and he said they drain out the fluid and refill it.  When I asked how much that cost, he said in an extremely nasty tone:  "It's an 80,000 mile service.  It costs twice what a 40,000 mile service costs.  80,000 is two 40,000s, right?"
I then called Wallace VW in Stuart and spoke with a service advisor there.  The man was professional and told me "YOU DON'T NEED A TRANSMISSION SERVICE BECAUSE YOU HAVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION."  He further explained that he punches in the make, model, year and whether manual or automatic transmission and the VW program gives him the price for the service.  He said every dealership is supposed to do it the same way and that transmission service is NOT recommended for our car.  He said the entire 80,000 mile service for our car would be $412.00!!!  Including tax!!  About HALF what Prestige was going to charge.  Plus he said the whole thing takes about two hours.  Prestige said it took four to five hours!  We have been questioning the high charges and excessive wait times at Prestige for even simple oil changes.  Now we know they can't be trusted.  They are jacking up the prices tremendously and if you question them, they get nasty!

Firehouse Garage did not try to make money on me by performing unnecessary repairs.   The parts and labor were extremely reasonable.   I highly recommend Firehouse Garage for repairs and would return to them in the future.

That was great- they were very nice. It took several months- I knew what I wanted but I was waiting until I could find some body to give it to me at the price I wanted. The day I purchased the vehicle, I was there for about three hours. They were upfront- I negotiated everything over the internet before I drove there, it is 90 miles from where I live. They had the car I wanted and met the price that I wanted to pay and so I told them I would buy it. I like the car a lot. They were very responsive.

Another guy bought it 2 or 3 years ago and we don’t know his name.  This is the first time we’ve used him.  We had used the previous owner but not the new one.  He was very good.  We went home after the pickup.  He usually schedules us.  We can’t take the car in the first day, but he tells us if we could bring it in the morning, and lets us know if he can work on it that day or may be two days.  He’s usually very good about telling us one day and he gets to it.  6.05 to 6.08.  We don’t know what the new prices are.  We can remember when they were cheap.  This guy is very thorough and he explains stuff to us.  He has really good dealing with older people.  He’s been with one of the major dealers in Melbourne for 15 to 20 years before he came here.  So he knows his business.

He could have really ripped me off big time but he didn't. He told me not to drive my car because I could blow my engine, he was very nice on the phone and gave me a name for a towing company that I used. He didn't make it into a bigger deal then it should have been and only fixed what needed to be fixed which I appreciated. He immediatly knew what was wrong and was able fix it quickly. He ended up having to keep it an extra day since Lexus sent him the wrong part. They are just excellent!

I have now consider Firehouse Garage to the place to take both our vehicles to.  I have had more extensive work done on my high mileage VW Passat, and they are always honest and professional.  They are AAA recommended as well, and give me a discount for being a AAA member without me having to ask.  On one occasion I took my car in for a cooling issue, which they fixed, and stopped by a few days later for another reason, and the mechanic saw my car and came right in, asking me if I was having any problems.
